‘She seems like the type that would love the outdoors. I also wonder why until now I met Ishi’ Syn thought to himself, he chuckled.
“I’m fine for now, thank you though,” he smiled at Ishimu, ”and no ma'am, I’ve never left the city so I’ve never hiked before. Plus, with my pale complexion I’m not good with the sun, I burn very easy” he rolled up his sleeve and showed how truly pale he was compared to her own skin. It was also a fail safe just in case she sprang a random hiking encounter.
Nights watched as each person emerged from the portals. She tilted her head when she saw how excited the girl was seeing her. Looking at the shadow she pointed to herself “They know me? And are excited?”
“Yes, this was Thena’s doing, and no,” she blinked, “why would Shade do this? Also, how do you know me?” she had lots of questions, but she believed the shadow telling her that they could help.
“It's all cemented and you can't open portals while you're in the cell” she demonstrated by trying to open a portal once more but watch it quickly disappear, “she was very cocky while she explained it all” her ears tilted back hearing Thena’s voice repeat in her head. “But thank you” she smiled.
Her ears twitched when the blue-robed assassin was mentioned, "Blue robe? Are they a woman named Lancer? If it is her how is she doing?" she stood up from her sitting position and walked over to the cell bars getting closer to the group.
Rin watched Storm, his ears and tail were down worried about him. “Storm?” he whimpered nuzzling the large wolf as he nuzzled against him. He scooted closer to him and pet him on the head, “hey, Storm, it’s alright” he smiled weakly at him, “I mean we're together again”. He had no memory what happened to Maru, so he couldn't even comfort Storm with that information.
Vega returned the bow to Fay, “And may the Metal Clan stay strong and protected” he smiled and looked to the shadow “good job, thank you”
Hala found in her bag something that would help with the fever first and immediately made her drink the liquid, holding her up slightly so it would be easier for her to swallow.
Pausing for a moment she looked at the mask confused, “I have to wear this? The rob is alright but the mask?” she frowned. She quickly slipped on the robe and placed on the mack but kept the mask perched on top of her head.
Going back to Fangs stitches she removed the old bandages and started to clean the wound, being careful not to cause her any pain.
“Don't do anything stupid kid!” Wrath warned him as he kept a close eye on Lenore.
Envy and Pride latched onto Lenore’s legs and bit and clawed them. Greed jumped on the vampire and pulled at her hair as much as it could yelling at her to let him go. Wrath leaped off of Zane’s head and tried attempted to scratch at her eyes with all the moving around.
Raider finally caught them and try to pry Lenore off of Zane, “I swear to god Lenore!” he growled.

Shrugging Ishimu headed into the kitchen and looked around, the house hadn’t changed one bit since he had left. Looking to the window that overlooked to the neighbouring house, he opened it to let some fresh air in. The soft breeze felt good through his hair as he then made his way to the fridge. ‘ Let's see orange juice, milk, and nothing else that really looks good,’ he frowned as he then decided on orange juice, taking it out and pouring a glass he returned it to the fridge. “Oh my, you must have the rare case where no matter what you burn in the sun. I am sorry you probably don’t like the outdoors unless it’s cloudy, or do you still burn” She frowned at the thought and shook her head, “Are you stuck in the house until night then? It must be pretty hard…” Cindy wondered if this was why they had come over so late. Shade had met them at some point, the shadow creature signed back as it watched Jarel and Zenos look for a way out, The young prince may have talked about you to them on more than one occasion… It frowned wondering if Shade had made a mistake in doing so as it watched Nights seem to be uneasy of the demon’s excitement. Are you okay?“I wasn’t sure if Shade and you had gotten into a fight, so put you into a cell to cool off…” Zenos mumbled with a small blush as he looked around the room to distract himself, “As for Thena, this does have her work all over it…” At the mention of the assassin, Zenos looked to Jarel who pretended not to notice the conversation as they looked around the room. Looking back to Nights he shook his head, “If you mean the blue-robed person with a white mask then I can’t be certain. Our encounter hadn’t gone smoothly and…” “Jarel gets overprotective more so over people he doesn’t know. Is it an excuse for his behaviour and I plan to tell Shade about his actions when I can…” Jarel made a small growl sound at the mention of being lecture by Shade but Haiz ignored him as she continued, “I had helped her in getting away from our group, at the time I didn’t know the wolf pack was already working on a plan to get her home. After she had left we weren’t sure where she had gone, so we didn’t know where to look. But their wounds should be healed by now I would think…” “You would be a sceptic too if you found her in a vampire stronghold instead of a Rohza. They would have eaten her alive, all I wanted to know was if Shade needed help and what was going on…” Jarel glared at the two and watched as Zenos had gotten to their feet. “Shade is too stubborn to ask for help, and if there are robed demons helping him it seems it under control, other than this small hiccup. Thena really messed up this time…” Zenos smiled at the thought of an enraged vampire prince, “Anyway, I’ll go see what is keeping Magnus and let you three chat…” Zenos then bolted to the stairs rushing up and out of site. “Yes but...well you aren’t a snow leopard anymore. I guess no one will hunt you down for that..” Storm smiled a little before slowly changing back and wiping his eyes with the back of his hand, “Why didn’t Maru tell me? I couldn’t be that hard to find, at least I wouldn’t think…” Holding Rin in his arms he still laid on the floor, “I am sorry I wasn’t there for you Blizzard…” The shadow creature nodded and let the window close before hopping off the boxes and scrambling up onto the desk that once had all the weapons it had transported. The shadow creature then sat on it and watched Vega curiously. Wondering what else it could do for the werewolf. Feeling the strange liquid against her lips, Fang slowly drank the medicine. Shivering against Hala’s hold on her as she felt cold, but didn’t want to interrupt the healer. Blue eyes looked to the familiar healer as she felt them work on the wound. Watching the shadow creature as they handed the healer her mask and bed sheet. “It was what Reaper had requested and…” Its head turned as there was a knock on the door. Yellow eyes looked to Shade and it growled. “Let Hala answer it, or I’ll bite you.” Propping herself up, Fang made a move to get out of bed as she gently took Hala’s wrist into hers. Looking to the healer, Fang made the mask fit better on Hala before grabbing one of her daggers. Putting it on her lap before signing, Just in case, and I’m sorry. Letting go of the healer she closed her eyes as she extended her weapon for Hala to take. Blinky was certain Fang would have tried to get the door, but when she hadn’t it turned its head to the side as another knock sounded. It hadn’t noticed that Toshi had left the room. Looking back to SHade it crossed its arms and pointed to the cloth Hala had been using to clean the wound, “Finish while she is away.” “You know I have no idea what I’m doing when it comes to these things,” Shade replied pointing to the medical supplies on the floor. “Just clean the wound carefully while I follow Hala,” Blinky warned as it looked to Hala before leaving the room and headed to the front door. ~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~ Forcing herself to her feet, she stumbled to the portal that the shadow creature had made. Reaper knelt down in the portal clutching her chest as sharp pain came with each breath. Red eyes looked to the shadow creature as they waved and turned its head to the side at her. Then darkness for a split second had filled her vision before appearing in an empty room. Struggling to a corner of the room as the portal disappeared, Reaper closed her eyes. Hearing voices in another room she was sure the shadow creature had sent her to the house where Fang was. Laying her head against the wall, and using her right shoulder to lean against, Reaper looked towards the doorway. Taking small breaths as it had hurt too much to breathe properly. “I thought I had smelled blood,” the voice startled her causing her to jump as she tried to make out the figure standing in the doorway. Due to the green assassin’s poison, she couldn’t be sure of what she was really seeing. Fearing her eyes may betray her, Reaper forced them to stay shut. “Reaper are you-” the voice had cut off as the footsteps stopped maybe a few feet from her, she couldn’t be certain. She was sure that the state she was in had looked pretty ugly. “Back off, I’ll be fine,” Reaper growled not wanting anyone pity as she forced herself to sit up against the wall, wincing as the dagger shifted causing a sharp pain in her back. “Tell me, how is Fang?” “She’s alright, the healer had gotten here maybe just a few moments before you had. What happened to you? Who did this?” “Who doesn’t matter now, the state I left them in they will be recovering for weeks,” Reaper chuckled and winced as she tried to pinpoint who she was talking to. It wasn’t Sade, the one before her sounded much older, “I’m guessing you are Toshi. Sorry due to a slight poisoning I can’t fully see, but could you get me a medical kit?” The knock at the door startled her as she was tempted to stand and get it, knowing the healer would hopefully be able to handle it. “They are here? I wasn’t gone long, after all, sure did feel like it though…” “Yeah you were gone for maybe a few minutes maybe hours, but no longer than that I’m sure,” Toshi replied watching the red-cloaked assassin wearily, “I’ll get you the medical kit, but remain still just in case you are badly injured..” “Phe, I’m not as injured as you think,” Reaper smiled knowing they couldn’t see it but now she wished she could have shown them the other two. Laying her head back against the wall she listened to their footsteps leave the room. ~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~ Lenore hissed from the plush attacking her and struggled to maintain her hold on Zane but it had slipped. Glaring at the vampire as they got to their feet and put their hand close to their chest while holding the wound. Lenore then glared to Raider as she struggled with the plush and slashed at a few with the dagger in her hands, “What will you do? You may not be human but you don’t seem very strong either.” Lenore then looked back to Zane with a snarl, “You were to help me, that was our deal.” “I’m not just a tool for you to use and toss aside later down the road when you get bored,” Zane growled back as he watched Lenore fight against the plush that surrounded their feet.

“I guess you can say that, the sun just doesn't like me” Syn laughed. “But it’s alright, I’m fine staying inside until the sun goes down. I have another friend with a similar situation but it doesn't bother him that much. And besides, Ishi is very patient with me” he smiled to the woman before him.
“While I don't get to enjoy the day the night is just as beautiful, Ishi and I took a walk around the other day and we wound up skipping rocks at the lake at the park near my home,” he laughed, “he won a bet we made”, he hasn't forgotten about the bet they made a few nights ago involving the fish.
Nights tilted her head slightly, did Shade and her every have a serious fight? And did they really believe Shade would put someone in a cell to cool off after an argument? Maybe there were just some things she didn't know or understand. “I think if anything I'm the one getting angry at Shade, for always getting himself hurt” ‘and losing things’. Signing to the shadow she smiled to it slightly, “I’m fine, it's just surprising, that's all, I never knew Shade had so many friends”
Her ear twitched hearing a word either Shade or Toshi had mentioned, “Rhoza”. “I’m sure with her wounds mostly healed she’ll just be fine, she’s really strong after all, but,” she looked up at Jarle and Haize, “ can I ask, what is a Rhoza? I’ve heard that name before but I’m not entirely sure what that is, you said it eats vampires?” She was sure she wasn't going to like the answer but she wanted to learn more about the world she hardly ever visits anymore.
“I may not be a snow leopard anymore but now I’m technically a wolf” Blizzard’s tail swayed from side to side slowly. “And...the reason Maru hasn't told you is because the two of us got separated when we left the village, there was a really bad blizzard and the two of us got separated” his ears lowered. “I tried looking for her but got even more lost” he gently nuzzled Strom, “it's not your fault, things happen but like I said were together again, plus how would you know what was going on?”
Vega watched the window close and sat back into his chair and stretched out his arms, he wasn't going to smith anything for quite some time. Noticing the shadow was staring at him intently he smiled weakly, “I guess things are going crazy over in your home?” if nothing happened in moon Pass they would have no idea what was going on outside the village or in the other realms, it made him a bit uneasy but that's how the village had been for years now.
Hala watched fang fix the mask over her face and looked down at the dagger she had given her. She gave the assassin a quick nod before going to the front door, pausing in front of it. She looked at Blinky and signed to it before opening the door, “I’m nervous” she kept on arm behind her that held the dagger that Fang gave her.
Raider glared at the woman and held onto his wrist, he was contemplating something that could mess him up in the end, but what else could he do? “I’m not strong at all, but I’m thinking of just saying fuck it and letting you get a taste of what you love so dearly, though I’m not sure what kind of effect curse blood will have on you”
Wrath stopped it’s attack on Lenore looking over at the necromancer, “like hell you will!” it could already see raiders nails on his skin, “Kid, get the hell out of here already! We got her right now!”
“This is actually quite fun” Greed cackled as it continued its attack on Lenore.
Raider made up his choice and threw himself at the woman and held his arm at her mouth, “go on ahead, my bloods paralyzed and poisoned people before” he could hear Wrath yelling at him but this could be effective.

"I am glad Ishi is getting out and not staying in his house all day, I mean night," Cindy seemed genuinely happy for her son, with not even a hint of jealousy to her voice as she smiled to Syn.
Shifting in the chair she shook her head, "He isn’t the best at skipping rocks, but he sure enjoys it. Mainly to see the biggest splash he can make, at least that was when he was little. I suppose now he has gotten better." She laughed at remembering her cute little Ishimu trying to skip rocks. Only to give up and throw rocks into the pond to watch it splash and cause ripples. "Ishimu is doing well then? Sorry I just worry about him, more so with his bully issues. It’s good to see a nice young man looking out for him."
Glancing around the kitchen he took a sip of the orange juice forgetting for a split second of the action. The juice didn’t taste well and quickly spat it out into the sink, nearly gagging. 'Does not taste as good as I remember,' Ishimu frowned as he poured the rest out into the sink and rinsed out the cup. He then made his way back towards the living room and glanced from his mom to Syn. At least they didn't seem to be fighting at the moment.
Making his way towards the couch he sat down next to Syn, he didn’t look at his friend as he sucked on his teeth. Crossing his arms Ishimu tried not to scowl or give a sour look towards the kitchen. “What did I miss?” Licking his teeth he frowned as the taste still lingered.
The shadow creature put its hands to its face and giggled behind them. It then glanced behind it watching the demons. They are recent friends of Shade's, they aren't too bad. The shadow creature then hopped up onto Nights' shoulder and sat down.
"It's-" Zenos glanced to Jarel who bared their teeth at him as the demon cut him off.
"It's my race, we kill and feed on vampires. Well most of my race, I seem to be the only different one among my own," Jarel replied with a shrug as he looked to Nights, "We have wings and are known for our temper. We are similar to the vampire race as far as having a good smell of blood. We have their speed, agility only thing different we are able to fly." Pointing up towards his horns he gave a small smile, "As for the horns I can't say what their purpose is other than what my race has decided to use them for. The bigger they are the older the Rohza. I'm currently still in juvenile stage...and won't be seen as an adult until they grow much larger."
"I was going to put it in better terms than that..." Zenos replied shaking his head.
"Best not to sugar coat it," Jarel shrugged and glanced back to the stairs. 'What is taking them so long...'
“There are only two full demons in Jarel’s party, Jarel himself and Zenos,” Haiz glanced to Zenos who scowled at her, shrugging her shoulders she looked to Jarel, “Best not to sugar coat it right?” Laughing she looked back towards the stairs, ‘Did Magnus get lost or something…’
‘So much for not scaring her…’ Zenos shook his head and got to his feet glancing at the bars, “I hope Magnus has a better idea as to how to get her out..I’m out of ideas due to the bars being cemented in and kicking them lose wont work.”
‘I wonder…’ Jarel looked to the bars and gave one a small tug before looking to Zenos, “There is always a plan B, and if this doesn’t work we’ll use you. If plan B fails we go to C with Haiz, last resort will be Magnus…"
“We’ll do what now?” Zenos frowned confused as Jarel looked back towards Nights.
“Did Thena say anything about the bars?” Jarel asked keeping his hand on the one bar, he ignored the other two who seemed confused by his question.
Shaking her head Haiz slowly headed towards the stairs and poked her head around the corner to see if there was any sign of the other demon around. “Magnus?” Haiz hissed down the hall hearing it echo, she growled and formed a shadow at her feet. The shadow she created looked up at her and it’s little ear twitched before darting off into the hall to find Magnus. Haiz then headed back to the others and stood next to Zenos.
“Something tells me we may need Magnus for this idea of his to work..” Haiz frowned as she glanced to Jarel unsure of what the demon was thinking.
“I guess it can’t be really helped, wait do you have your memories back?” Storm slowly sat up keeping Rin close to him, “You’re right, there would be no way of really knowing what was going on with you two. Do you think she is still looking for you?”
Moving to the wall he leaned against it before looking to the window sadly. ‘I wonder if I should try and find her, just to see if she is alright,’ his hand gently petted the plush in his hand before playing with one of Rin’s ears with his fingers.
Turning its head to the side it gave a small shrug, ‘Not as bad as it once was, it’s slowly getting better.' It gave a small smile as it then climbed up onto Vega’s desk and looked around the big room, though it might not have appeared big to human standards. But to a shadow creature it looked huge. Yellow eyes looked along the wall and then towards some blades that hung before looking back towards Vega blinking, unsure of what was expected of it.
Understanding the nervousness from Hala, Blinky slowly headed up and hung just below Halla’s head. It was careful not to disturb the dagger in Halla’s hands as it listened. ‘This is just great, I can’t see what is going on..’
'A healer assassin?' The one in purple frowned and glanced to her companion before looking back to the medic. "We are here to take Fang to headquarters," they moved as if to push the assassin out of the way.
"I have urgent business here, you can't take a patient that can't be moved out of my care," Blinky growled as it's ear twitched. Hoping his voice wasn't too harsh that the two would attack them.
"We are here under direct orders-" the other cloaked assassin began before Blinky quickly cut them off.
"The head assassin has no jurisdiction here. Until the assassin is healed I will not hand them over to you. Her condition is too critical, unless you wish to explain her death to the head assassin," Blinky smiled hoping he was getting most of his information correct. 'If only I could see their reaction...'
The assassin took a step back as if contemplating something. The other assassin growled in frustration. "If you're a medic show us identification," the orange assassin glared through her mask at Halla.
"Identification? I don't have time for this," Blinky snarled gripping the bed sheets tightly in its little hands, 'I don't think this is working...'
Looking from Lenore to Raider, he wasn’t sure as to what was going on as he moved away from the vampire a good few steps. Confused as to what was going on, as he looked to the frantic plush who was screaming at Raider. Zane then turned and ran, unsure of what way to really go as didn’t look back over his shoulder this time. ‘What is Raider going to do?’ he shivered at the thought, wondering if it’s best not to know.
“You’re blood will taste foul, maybe even stail, your blood isn’t what I am after,” Lenore growled at him as she watched him pounce on her and try to force his blood on her. She gritted her teeth, and tried to keep her mouth shut. The yelling of the plush was loud in her ears thought she didn’t understand what the creature was so frantic about.
'How is this guy alive if his blood is poison and paralyzes?' Her arm had blocked the necromancer's arm from completely coming to her lips. Red eyes glared up at the puppet master, a low growl escaping her throat.
Skidding to a halt, the sound of the plush and Raider had became quiet. Panting he glanced around looking for the way to Raider's home. 'It was this way wasn't it?' Biting his lip uncertain of which way they had gone he decided to make a left, 'worse case scenario I go in circles?'
"You do realize you fool no one…" the figure had returned with the medical kit. They had managed to bypass Shade's questions and hoped the vampire would stay near Fang as they seemed to be more important at the moment. He placed the kit near Reaper before sliding it closer. Toshi didn't dare get too close to the red cloaked assassin, her temper had scared him enough to give the assassin a wide berth.
Red eyes glared at Toshi as she breathed through her mouth, "How is Fang?"
"Not sure, the vampire is with her while Halla deals with the two assassins at the door. Care to tell us what's going on?" Turning his head to the side.
"Not my place to tell, only one to answer that is Lancer wherever she may be.." Reaper replied sleepily she glanced towards the medical kit. She forced herself off the wall and opened the kit with her right hand. Taking the bandages i to her hand she held them out to Toshi. "This is a once in a lifetime request…"
"What the Great Reaper needs help?" Toshi laughed uneasily as the red cloaked assassin narrowed their eyes at him. "Sorry…" he took the bandage from Reaper, and watched as the assassin held out their injured hand to him. They used their right hand to support it. Wrapping the bandage around their hand and around to their forearm, he was surprised the assassin didn't lash out or seethe from the pain.
When Toshi had finished, Reaper moved back into the corner of the room. "Now you may go."
"You don't have to tell me twice…." Toshi got to his feet and headed towards the bedroom door. He glanced down the hall towards the front door, he could make out the shadow creature on Halla's back. Shaking his head he quietly slipped into the room Shade was in. 'Hope Halla returns soon…'

Syn watched the woman as she laughed smiled, seemingly reminiscing on some memory between Ishimu and herself, it warmed his heart slightly, seeing a mother care for her son that much. “Ishi is no problem at all, if anything I'm the one who's causing his trouble and dragging him along with my issues,” he rubbed the back of his head, telling her the truth without telling her the full details, “and so far there have been no bully issue that you and him have spoken about, not that I would allow that…” there was that run in with Lenore and that strange kid so a couple of run of the mil bullies were no problem.
Seeing Ishimu come back in he noticed he kept sucking on his teeth, but passed it off like he hadn't noticed, “your mom and I were just talking about skipping rocks, nothing more, unless she has some more stories she wants to talk about?” he teased him with a small laugh.
Nights looked from the shadow and its comment to Jarel as he spoke, she blinked a few times as he explained his race with Haize chiming in about their group, “well...you learn something new every day…” There was so many things she didn't know, was Kemma one of them as well? Or was he a different race she didn't know about? She felt like she had more questions for Shade.
“Thena said the floor and ceiling are cement and that the door was reinforced around the hinges so ramming it won't help,” she rubbed her shoulder, sore from her attempt of breaking down the door by ramming into it, “and that portals won't work, they close too fast to use or send anything through. She put me in here so I wouldn't be in the way, and might use this against Shade…” her ears lowered, not liking the idea of being used as bait or blackmail against him.
“I have a good majority of them back, some are still a little fuzzy but I remember the important things...I think” Blizzard laughed. “And if I know Maru, which I'm sure I do, she’s probably looking for me, or you, looking for some sort of answer”
“But the odds of us finding her seem almost impossible, I'm sure I can smell her out with my new sniffer,” he poked his own nose with his paw, “but where to begin?” he looked up at the werewolf that held him close.
“Glad it's coming together then” Vega signed with a smile. He watched the shadow, his head tilting slightly as he looked it over, “do you keep in communication with all the other shadow creatures? I’m really curious about you guys” he hoped it was alright to ask these questions or if Shade forbade them to talk to outsiders about them.
Hala felt her heart race as Blinky and the two cloaked assassins went back and forth, making sure to imitate the body language with whatever Blinky was saying, it nearly leapt into her throat when asked for identification.
Trying to keep up the charade that she was annoyed with them Hala shook her head and sighed and closed the door on the assassins and promptly locked the door. She stayed by hoping that would stop them from coming in but deep down she knew that was probably the dumbest decision she has ever made in her life. She held the dagger tightly in front of her. If she could speak, she would probably be cursing herself out.
“Then explain the real reason you want Zane” Raider practically growled at the woman he was holding down, “and it better be a damn good reason or I piece my own skin and see what my blood does to vampires”
Wrath watched the two struggle, unsure what it and the other two plushes should do even though Lust and Greed continued their attacks on the woman. It shrugged and joined in with them.
Pride ran after Zane, to make sure the boy was alright, Raider would be alright with the others, but hoped he didn't do anything stupid. She kept close by in case the woman had allies that could grab him while she distracted Raider.

“There are many cute stories-”
“Don’t you dare,” Ishimu seethed as he glared at his mother, “No more embarrassing stories.”
“Not even when you were five or six and you had your first crush?” Cindy pouted, “I guess Syn will have to come to visit without you some time to hear how cute you were when you were younger. Not to mention looking through the baby book.”
There is just no winning, Ishimu shook his head and looked to Syn, “I don’t bring many friends by, often she scares them away.” He teased as he glanced back to his mom.
“I’m not that scary, am I Syn?” She frowned thinking on it, but the only thing coming to her was that she acted like every other mother out there.
“So she wasn’t completely thinking then,” Jarel looked to Zenos and Haiz, “Grab a bar and pull together. If I’m right Thena wouldn’t be expecting anything stronger than a werewolf.”
“You really sure that is going to work?” Haiz frowned as she grabbed a bar close to Jarel and glanced towards Zenos who shrugged. “Fine, I’m ready to pull when you are,” Haiz glanced towards Jarel who grabbed the same bar and nodded to Zenos.
“Ready pull!” Jarel shouted and pulled the bar towards himself, he looked to Haiz and Zenos who attempted to pull as well and frowned, This isn’t working...unless… He looked to the one in the cage and gave a small smile, “I don’t suppose you’d mind lending a wolf hand or paw? Or head?”
“You’re really asking her to transform?” Haiz shook her head hardly able to believe her ears, as she pulled with all she had.
“We should try to find her, but as you said where to look or even start,” Storm frowned and looked up at the ceiling, “I doubt you can sniff her out…”
The only one to help with that- Shaking his head of such thoughts, he wasn’t sure he wanted to trust Raider. Letting out a small sigh he looked back to Rin, “Do you trust Raider?”
The shadow creature gave a small smile and signed back, We are in constant communication. The only two who normally aren’t are S.C. and Blinky.[/u] It then looked to the door that led to outside, Where is this place?
“I don’t think that was a good idea,” Blinky whispered as it looked to the door.
The purple-robed figure’s eyes were wide with shock as they looked to their partner, “They just closed the door on us.”
“Yes they did,” the other growled reaching for the doorknob and trying to open it. “It’s locked. Are we calling this in?”
“To hell with orders, no one locks us out. What kind of assassin are they?”
Grabbing their staff weapon that had a blade on each end, the purple-robed assassin stabbed it into the door. The first had hit near the doorknob not completely going through it. “That was a warning, the next one won’t be so pleasant!”
When the blade had hit the door, Blinky jumped and lost its grip on the sheet falling to the floor. Rubbing its head Blinky glared at the door and hissed, “Dang assassins aren’t playing around.” Looking to Hala it wasn’t sure what the fake assassin would do, Fang needed them and the two outside didn’t seem to want to go away.
Raising their blade to strike down again, their blade locked with another’s. Their eyes narrowed at the one standing before them, “You.” Pinning them to the door with their own blade, “Where did you come from?”
Lenore had stopped struggling and watched Raider sceptical if they were truly interested in what she had to say. No matter what I say he’ll redeem it as not good enough, Lenor didn’t dare look to the plush that attacked her. She was more concerned with the real threat, the puppet master.
“The real reason I want Zane is he is a rare breed. He can see through illusions and that is very valuable to me. Whether you deem it a worthy reason or not is irrelevant. I need the kid,” Lenore seethed watching the necromancer closely.
Wrath seemed pretty upset with Raider, but why? Looking behind him, he knew he couldn't see anything as he was already out of sight of Lenore, Raider, and the plush. Shaking his head he looked up towards the sky, The night is still young...I could still hunt. But…

Syn couldn't help but laugh around the two, they are the complete opposite of each other but somehow it worked between them. “I’ve seen much scarier things than you Cindy, Ishi can attest to that” he smiled to the woman. “Though, I would love to hear all these stories, another day though” he looked over at Ishimu and winked at him. Syn felt his phone vibrate once again, he whispered an excuse me and checked out who messaged this time "Loch Are you guys coming any time soon? If not Quintus and I will leave" "Arcana Tell your friend I said hi!" He smiled and typed something into the message bar before showing Ishimu the screen: "Syn It’s your call if you wanna leave" “Transforming is no problem if it will help out” Nights shifted into her wolf form, shaking out her long white fur, and positioned herself in front of the bar that they were pulling on before pushing on the bar with all of her strength that she could muster to move the pole separating her from the outside. “Well I know as we’re looking for her, she’s looking for us,” Blizzard put a paw over his nose, “and I'm sure I can sniffer her out...kinda...maybe…I’ll know once I get a hint of her scent” his ears lowering with each word until they flopped to the side of his head. “Raider? I’m not sure what to think of the guy, I mean i'm grateful that I’m alive again, sorta, and for bringing us together again, but the man is weird and lives with souls in plushies...not that I’m saying your grouped in with him cus’ of me but,” he paused, “you know...somethings off about him…” “ So your not always in contact with the only two who talk?” Vega wondered if Shade knew their language, or could somehow telepathically talk to him. He was unsure about the boy still. “ This place is Moon Pass, its home to werewolves and one pesky fox,” he laughed, “ some of us have lived here since we were pups and some others are new or live here seeking shelter” he looked out of the doorway seeing some of the villages beginning to settle down for the night as the sun began to disappear behind their tree line view. Hala did not think this thru, this much was true, but did anyone at this point? So with the highly trained assassin pinning her to the floor fear clearly shown in her eyes she did what she could do in this situation. “ I was given orders to come here to aide the yellow cloaked assassin who was badly injured, I don't recall who” She trembled slightly as she signed, wishing nothing more but to turn into a wolf and run away, but against her judgement she would be leaving the injured behind and who knew what these cloaked people would do with the others inside. ‘ focus on me’ she though staring down the assassin. “That ma’m is a bullshit excuse, your a vampire you can already see through illusions” Raider held her still as the plushes subsided their attack, standing on the vampire as they waited for an order. “Find a way other than Zane, or I’ll have a larger sample of what my cursed blood can do to people” he glanced at his arm and already saw a fresh red line appearing, a result of the struggle for sure, but something that needs to be tended to once this was over or settled. “Need to see through illusions though, i'm pretty curious” Wrath giggled watching the woman as it floated over to Raider hovering just above his left shoulder watching the two.[/u][/u]

Looking to Syn's phone he gave a small nod before looking back to his mom. "Sorry we have one more errand before it gets any later," giving her a small smile, "I'm sure we will be back again.."
"You're leaving already?" She frowned as she got to her feet, "It feels like you just got here."
"Sorry but if we stay longer the more the weirdos will be out. We still have to get home," Ishimu replied as he got to his feet and stretched.
"You're right, just wish it wasn't so soon," Cindy smiled and extended her hand to Syn, "It was nice meeting you Syn."
"Wow her wolf form is impressive," Haiz whispered to herself and she tried to focus on the task at hand.
The bars started to creek and groan as they slowly started to bend under Jarel's, and Zenos' hands as they pulled.
This will take too long, Jarel could hear the bars groan from being pulled on with everyone's help. But one or two may not be enough to let the wolf slip out. Closing his eyes as he pulled he tried to think of another way to get the wolf out.
"It's working!" Haiz grunted as she could hear the bars start to grind against the cement that was holding them in place.
"It'll take too long to get her out..." Zenos looked to the wolf within sadly, "I don't know how much time we have.."
Time is something we don't have, Magnus thought as he looked back to the stairs he had came from. The sound of crackeling startled him and made him look back to the cell.
The crackeling was coming from blue flames that surrounded Jarels hands and engulfed four of the bars, both Zenos and Haiz yelped in surprise. Not because it was hot as it was actually cool to their touch. But they weren't expecting the blue flame. Whispering something inaudible the blue flame grew brighter and the metal had started to get hotter, forcing Zenos and Haiz to let go.
"Jarel, what are you doing?" Haiz hissed but the Rohza ignored her or didn't seem to hear in his concentration.
The flame grew stronger, then it cryied out in a harsh scream. Jarel whispered to it before it then vanished leaving behind the smoldering four bars of the cell. The metal had started to melt where it was burning white hot. Jarel had fallen to his knees panting from the exertion, Haiz attempted to comfort him but the demon waved her off. "I'll be fine, the important thing is that she is free," Jarel glanced to Nights through the now empty space.
"Guys...Im pretty sure we will have company," Magnus called from the stairs as he was certain he could hear the heavy foot falls echoing off the walls above. "The guards will be here in seconds."
"What do you mean by off?" Storm put a hand on Blizzard's head. He agreed something was off about Raider but he wasnt able to figure out what exactly put him on edge. Shrugging he laid on the floor with Blizzard on his chest.
Looking out to the sunset, the little shadow creature nodded understanding the safe place. It then glanced to Vega with a small smile, Shouldn't you rest as well?
The assassin pinning Hala to the floor glared down at her while the other tried to get her off. They ignored the other as they watched Hala sign to her. Then out of now where she was knocked back by a blue blurr, flung into the other assassin and they both stumbled to the floor. Golden eyes whatched the two closely as they stood in front of Hala.
"Interesting plan," she whispered to Hala not looking at her, "Please return to aiding the other." Her glance then turned to the room around them, Where is Reaper? Lancer's focus was then on two in front of her, "Why are you two here? And where are your other teammates?"
"You just got here and your already starting fights!" SC squeaked as it watched the assassin take on the one that had pinned Hala to the floor. What did I miss? looking down the hall, it wandered how Shade and everyone else was doing.
"By now they are back at headquarters with the red cloaked one-" they cut off when the weird looking dark almost kid like shadow creature had spoke. They fixed their gaze upon it and it slink back a few steps from them before waving. "What is that?"
"It looks cute," said the assassin behind her as they got to their feet.
"Cute isn't a word I would use lightly, pretty sure that is a form of a demon. Lancer what have you gotten yourself into?" Their eyes narrowed as they got to their feet staff tightly held in their hand.
The orange cloaked assassin ignored her as they watched the shadow slink behind the curtain with one eye out watching them. "Come here," she whispered to it.
"Stay where you are," Lancer warned the shadow creature as she watched the purple cloaked assassin. "Why are you here?"
S.C. looked from one to the other wrather lost on what it had stumbled on. Deciding to stay in place it crouched low to where only its head poked out from under the certain. It then glanced to the White assassin unsure as to why they were on the floor.
"You haven't checked in, and the boss was getting impatient. You dont seem to have the target, and seem to be...wrather distracted with these demons."
"Not all vampires are the same," glaring at the necromancer above her, " there are those who don't see through illusions. The werewolf was to get the boy for me, then you gave him a puppet that was to help us both. Only he betrayed me and ran off, so I'm back for the kid."
Leaning against the wall Zane looked up to the dark sky above, Its still early, what to do while I wait for Raider... Closing his eyes he thought he had head something and poked his head around the corner, "Raider?" Not seeing anything he glanced down to see Pride running towards him, "Pride?..I think...I havent memorized all your names yet."

Syn stood with them, grasping Cindy's hand and shook it firmly, "it was nice to meet you as well Cindy" he smiled, trying not to smile too much to show off his fangs, "but this just means we'll have to meet up again" he laughed.
Syn also knew the longer they stayed the more questions she would be tempted to ask. She wasn't a bad person, but she wasn't ready to hear the truth. Plus he was sure she would feel different towards him if she found out it was him that turned her son into a vampire. The thought made him a little sad.
Releasing her hand Syn put an arm around Ishimu, "I'll remind Ishi to shoot you a text as soon as we get home so you don't have to worry"
Nights let out a surprised yelp when the bars she was just pushing were consumed with the odd fire. She stood back, watching Jarel along with the flame, unsure what the demon was doing. But once there was an opening large enough for her to fit through, she slipped passed the bars, taking a moment to gently nudge him with her head in thanks.
Her ears we back hearing the sounds that were getting closer, guards? What kind of place did Thena put her in? She tried to open a portal back to where she was with Shade last but it closed immediately, "still not working" she mumbled gritting her teeth. "Is there another way out?" She asked looking to Magnus since he was the look out.
"There's just something about him that seems...off...like not natural" Blizzard closed his eyes when Storm but a hand on his head. "Maybe it's his scent? Or lack of one?" He questioned with a slight head tilt.
He relaxed himself on Storms chest and placed his chin on his paws, "I'm surprised he's not butting in at this point, I am like a weird walkie-talkie," he paused for a moment to see if Raider would respond but there was nothing, maybe he was asleep? "Do you think he sleeps?" Blizzard opened one eye to look at Storm.
"I'll go inside and rest before the sun fully sets Vega signed to the small shadow, "my seeing eye wolf is away right now" he laughed, knowing Hala hated the term. "what will you do when the time comes?"
Hala jumped when the blue blur knocked the assassin off of her. Seeing that it was Lancer she listened to the angered assassin and quickly got to her feet, scooping up Blinky, and sprinted to the back room where Shade was doing as she instructed.
Signing a quick "thank you" to Shade she continued what she was doing, trying to bring down Fangs fever and fix up her stitches.
"Sorry but it seems Run has other plans with Storm. You'll have to find other means of getting what you want, but not through Zane" Raider glared down at the woman.
He wanted to make it clear that she wasn't getting Zane here before they had any onlookers seeing a man pinning a woman to the ground surrounded by plushies. Man, did that not look good at all.
"What exactly are you looking for?" Wrath asked with a crooked smile, maybe we can do something about it? Or know some this thing" it giggled.
Raider frowned at the thought of helping Zane's attacker, but he knew the plus was just being nosey.
Pride smiled as it stopped at Zane's feet, "you are correct, I am Pride. Raider is still dealing with that woman and sent me to look after you" it glanced back in the direction it had just come from.
"In the meantime, why don't we continue your hunt?" It smiled, "and if we need to contact Raider I can do so as well" it's tail swayed behind them as they sat at the boys feet.

“Thank you Syn, please have a safe trip back home,” she walked to the door and opened it for them. “Thank you for stopping by.”
“I’ll visit when I can,” Ishimu gave a small smile before heading out the door and waiting for Syn on the sidewalk. Looking back up the stairs, he frowned, “You have the doughil bag right?”
“He’d lose his head if it wasn’t attached,” she teased with a small laugh, she held the bag for Syn, “Try to keep him out of trouble, it always seems to find him.”
The shadow creature tipped toed out of the cell, afraid the odd flame would return. It then hid behind Nights’ left flank at the sound of the running guards. Yellow eyes looked to Haiz, Magnus, Zenos and Jarel.
“Sorry if the flame hadn’t cried out we would have had more time,” getting to his feet, he was glad for Zenos’ quick reflexes as they caught him just before he was about to fall back to the floor. “Thanks.”
“There is no other way that I have seen. This place is a maze of guards and halls,” Magnus frowned fearing the worst.
“Quickly tell me what they were wearing, every detail,” Haiz quickly spoke up looking deadly to Magnus.
“Black with purple stripes on their left side. The ones above them I believe had blue stripes on their left arms. Why?” Magnus frowned looking to Haiz, unsure at first as to why she had wished to know. Then Haiz had started to mask herself with what he had described, he imagined it would be the same for the rest, all but Nights. He glanced towards Jarel and Zenos and saw the same illusion being placed onto them.
“Do you trust me?” Haiz’s gaze became ice as she looked to Nights. Getting bit wasn’t on her agenda, nor did she wish need further issues. Being captured by the evil vampire would be a nightmare for them all to get out of. That may have to be plan B… as another thought occurred to her, but she didn’t wish to use that, it would be a bad enough gamble with the plan at hand. She then walked over to a rope that was laying on the far side of the room, picking it up she looked back towards Nights as she tied it to form a loop. She then whirled it over her head and let it lose right in time as it went over Nights’ head the first guards started to show up.
“What is the meaning of this?” One of the guards asked who had made it first to th3e bottom of the stairs. It didn’t take long for the others to clamer down the stairs, weapon raised, others had their weapons locked onto them.
“We were told to escort this...beast to a more comfortable cell. Lady Thena had said this cell is too good for her and there are more appropriate cells for such an animal,” Haiz replied tightening the rope so there was no slack, her concentration was more on the problem of getting them all out to care if she had offended Nights. “But when we were just about to get them out, they had broken free. Injuring our own in the process.” She gestured towards Jarel who was still leaning against Zenos.
“She is scary when she is like this…” Zenos whispered to Jarel and glanced towards Nights unsure what the wolf would do.
“Get them to the medic!” The guard instructed as the men moved towards Jarel, Haiz quickly put a hand up hoping it would stop them in their tracks. It had worked, they didn’t get far enough to even touch the one that was injured.
“If we lose the beast it’s all our heads on the line, is one life worth Thena’s wrath?”
“Who are you?” The lead guard had pushed through and glared at Haiz before looking to the other three that were around the white wolf. His gaze then returned to the woman who seemed to be the same rank as him.
“How dare you question the most trusted guard of Lady Thena,” Haiz snarled, “When she returns-”
“She is already here,” came a pur from above the stairs, and Haiz’s blood went cold as she glanced up the stairs, “You are not my trusted guard however clever as your disguises are to mask yourselves you are not my soldiers. I know each and everyone of them. Seize them all!”
Everything happened very quickly, the shadow creature gripped Nights’ back paw, Magnus had roared out and flung themselves at the closet guards near them. The fake guard disguises had faded away as Haiz released the rope she had been holding so that maybe Nights could escape. Plan B, I’m sorry Jarel, Haiz then looked to Zenos, “Get Nights out of here!”
About to protest on leaving Haiz behind, he noticed the blade in her hand and quickly released Jarel and helped get the rope off from around Nights’ neck. “We don’t want to be around for this…”
“Haiz,” Jarel’s eyes flashed in her direction standing now as if the effect of the flame was no longer relevant. In a flash, gust of wings Jarel was upon Haiz, hiding her body from view. When he looked back to the crowd of demons, fresh blood stained his sharp teeth as he held a limp Haiz in his left arm. Eyes burning he summoned a new flame creature fueling it with all his rage towards the demons before him.
“Magnus move!” Zenos yeled trying to reach out to the poor male as the blue flames grew in size. The room was way too small for the flames growing in size.
Covered in guards he wasn’t aware of what was going on with Jarel and Haiz. Trying to get free of the armed guards that did have a hold of him, he growled and was about to kick at one of them until it turned to bone once consumed in the blue flame. Magnus squeeked in fright and quickly ducked in time as more became tattered bones.
The blue raven screech with its rage as a soft red light shone on the birds chest. Slowly it spread consuming its whole body. Jarel then unfurled his wings and together the bird and demon charged into the guards. Many had tried to escape only to be nothing but bones or crippled bodies. Depend on which had hit which demon guard. Jarel kept Haiz close to him not looking to her as he glared up towards Thena, his next target.
“You idiots its fire and a demon! Use somethi-” Thena growled as her army became bone or crippled flesh. With rage she glared down to the white wolf, “Get out, all of you get out!”
A dark purple portal formed below the stairs, taking any soldiers that were on it into its pit. Thena then glared down at the Rohza as they now ran towards her with their furry. “Be sure to take this one with you!” Shoving the demon down the stairs and into the portal took everything she had. But in touching the demon the bluish red flame had licked her skin causing blisters to form. “Let them pass into the portal you fools!” Thena growled when the guards refused to let Nights and the others pass. They slowly fanned out to where the portal was in view.
When Jarel was through the portal, the connection to the fire bird had been severed. It then dissipated once it had no contact with the summoner. The cold grass touched his skin making him relax and lay there for a moment, his hold on Haiz had slackened letting her roll limply away from him. Wincing he sat up and held his head glaring at his new surroundings.
“I doubt he sleeps,” Storm replied scratching behind Rin’s ear, “Its odd he hasn’t replied, do you think something is up?”
If there was trouble for the odd necromancer he was certain that his puppets would help him out. Shaking his head he got to his feet, putting Blizzard onto his head he headed out of the shed and stopping just outside. Feeling the cold air helped him feel a little better. Closing the door to the shed he then started for the next street over walking through backyards. With so much new information he was curtain he wouldn’t be able to sleep anyway.
To sleep? I could sleep on nuts and bolts, hard desk, or floor. We really just sleep in random spots, it rubbed its head as it looked around the room wondering where it could sleep. It then looked back to Vega, Unless I could help patrol until sun up and then sleep.
“Wait! Shouldn’t we help her out!?” It squeaked as the door then shut and it scrambled to its feet, “We can’t just do nothing!”
“What’s going on?” he moved so Hala could work better and watched a frantic shadow creature at the door trying to get it opened.
The clash of the three assassins in the living room had woken up Reaper. Red eyes narrowed as she looked to the doorway, hearing yelling and clawing at the door. Forcing her body to move, she crept to the door and glanced to the living room. From her view she saw a blue cloaked figure taking on two assassins.
Lancer? The blue assassin wasn’t doing too bad for having one blade on them. The red assassin made her way towards the battle, running her good arm along the wall for support.
The tide was starting to change as the two assassins adapted to Lancer’s movements. Before long they had started to back the blue assassin into a corner. The blue assassin had managed to block the staff user with her blade, while the other had taken the opening that the other had created, digging their blade deep into their arm. Lancer gritted her teeth as she expected another blow. Then a red blur came out of nowhere holding the orange assassin’s blade in their hand. “Reaper?”
“You sound surprised, we have much to talk about when you are finished with these two,” she grunted as she removed the sword from its holding place. “I thought you may want this back.”
"You aren't joining?" Lancer frowned behind her mask as she took her blade back from Reaper. "That's unlike you."
Red eyes narrowed but she said nothing more as she moved away after shoving the shocked orange assassin back. Crossing her arms, abd ignoring the biting sting in her hand from the blade. She watched the battle continue.
What is going on with Reaper? golden eyes narrowed as she forced herself to focus on the battle at hand.
Watching the two assassins, Lancer moved to where she could see them both at once. The orange assassin lashed out with their staff blade in a vertical motion towards her, blocking it with ease with her blade. Lancer glared towards the other as she shoved the first attacker off and slashed out at the purple assassin. They had blocked her sword as the other attacked her from behind, quickly ducking out of range of the blow. The orange assassin collided with the purple assassin, both falling to the floor.
With eyes failing, Reaper slid to the floor. All she could hear was the metal on metal as she closed her eyes. Just need rest.. she could hear Lancer call her name and waved her off, hoping she wasnt getting distracted. Then there were screams from two of the assassins that Lancer had been fighting. Forcing her eyes open she wasn't too sure as to what she was seeing.
Lancer had jumped far away enough not to be sucked into the black darkness that had shown up under the assassins she was attacking. She glanced to the shadow creature with a small chill as she wasn't sure where it was taking them. Reminding herself that it was Thena that had sent her somewhere dark, not the shadows. Watching them disappear into the dark void as the portals closed behind them. Lancer looked towards SC. "Where did you take them?"
"Not to the same place you just came out of, just far enough that they won't be back any time soon," SC replied with a small smile.
Nodding to the shadow creature, Lancer tucked her blades away and walked over to Reaper. Gently nudging the assassin's shoulder. "Reaper?"
"I'll be fine," she whispered to the blue assassin, "Just need rest. Lots of rest."
"You're sure?" Golden eyes looked to the hallway wondering if Hala could help in anyway.
"The medic can't do anything for me," Reaper grunted as she laid on the cool flood.
"If you are certain," Lancer shook her head and looked over Reaper’s body, old blood had mixed with new. It was hard to determine just how injured the assassin was, “You had to go with red…” Sitting on the floor she glanced back towards SC, “Any news on how Fang is doing?”
Trying to remain still while Hala worked was nerve wracking as she heard the clang of metal in the other room then screams. Opening an eye she glanced towards the door, What’s going on? She could make out Blinky’s ears from the bedside before looking towards Hala.
“Seems the fighting has stopped, not sure what happened,” Blinky frowned glancing towards Hala then to Shade.
“I’ll check it out, stay with Hala,” Shade replied with a small smile as he glanced to Fang, “I’m sure it’ll be okay.”
Staying perfectly still in fear of what Raider would try to do with their blood, she glared up at him before looking to Wrath. “There is a secret door, a door that I’ve been told leads into darkness. The only way to ever find the door and see what truly lies beyond is someone who can see what normal people can not see. But that is where I had needed Zane to find the other vampire that can see things others can’t...then Storm decided to betray me with that stupid plush you had made him. So it’s either the boy, or I go through you and these….plush of yours.” Looking back to Raider with a small smile, “I’m sure if I die and another stumbles upon Zane seeking the same thing, it could get rather messy. Besides who knows what really lurks beyond the door, if it falls into the wrong hands…” Trailing off she wasn’t sure what the necromancer would do.
“Without Raider?..” Zane frowned as he picked up Lust and looked around them, “I suppose I could try but where to go that I won’t stumble on her again…” Remembering they were all somehow connected to Raider, he glanced back to the rabbit, “Could you let me know if we are getting close to their direction?”
Heading down the alley, he glanced back behind him feeling as if he was being watched but didn’t see anything. I hate being alone in dark places.. picking up the pace he exited the alley way and headed left hoping he was heading more closer to home than towards Raider and the vampire.

Syn took the duffle bag from Cindy and slung it over his shoulder, "I'll do my best" he laughed, " can't promise it won't find us' he thought to himself. Going down the steps to join Ishimu he turned back to Cindy and wished her a good night and looked to Ishimu, "ready to go?". Taking out his phone he quickly messaged the others that he was coming with a friend, getting an immediate response. "Arcana Woo!" "Someone's excited to meet you" he laughed. Nights let Haize put the rope around her neck, trusting her in what she was going to do. As soon as the guards descended the stairs she started growling at them, tugging at the rope but only enough to try to be convincing. The moment Thena showed herself at the top of the stairs Nights was ready to take her down, but the time wasn't right, not like this. Things began to escalate with Haize and Jespar attacking the guards. Once the rope was removed from her neck she grabbed the shadow and gently tossed it onto her back, hoping it knew it was time to hold on. Between all the chaos she tried to keep out of the way so she wouldn't hey swept in with the fight, seeing Magnus and Zenos do the same. She didn't know what was going on but she knew not to touch the flames or get in the way, that was for sure. Nights saw that most of Thena's guards had been reduced to the critically damaged or just straight up skeletons, the way Thena glared at her made her smirk, they had won for the meantime, but her short term smugness was cut short when a portal was summoned and Jarel and Haize went through. She has no idea where the portal lead, but it was apparent that it was Thena's doing as she was ordering what little guards she had left to step aside and let them through. She would take this chance, just this once. Locking eyes with Thena she stepped through the portal, staring down the woman until she was no longer visible. Exiting the portal she never knew how grateful she was to feel grass under her paws. She shifted back into her human form, holding onto the shadow with a hand, not wanting it to slide off of her back. She looked around where they were, unknown where Thena had placed them now, her nose twitched, the area smelled familiar. If need be she would portal back to Shade, but in the meantime she waited for Magnus and Zenos. "Maybe he's busy with his voodoo magic," Blizzard laughed, enjoying the ear scratch, ' wait, does that make me a voodoo doll?' After being placed on Storms head he looked down at the white haired man confused. "Where are we headed to now? Should I still sniff out where Shade and the others are?" The image of the vampire popped into his head, he remembered traveling with them for a short time while Maru stayed with Storm and Eclipse. He frowned, he wished he stayed closer to Maru when they left home, maybe he would still be alive and be with both Storm and Maru. Vega blinked, " all of that doesn't sound comfortable " he signed weakly, worried about the shadow in front of him. " You can patrol of you want, but we have Dan to take care of that, and the man doesn't talk much" 'maybe I should keep the shadows away from Dan, he and SC didn't really hit it off well and this one doesn't talk[/I]' " Maybe you should just sleep, he laughed nervously, " unless you absolutely want to patrol" Hala bit her lip, she wanted to aide Lancer but there was nothing someone like her could do in situations like this. Seeing that the wound was cleaned up thanks to Shade she flipped away the old stitches and prepared to replace them with new ones. Feeling Fangs eyes on her as she worked and looked at the assassin and smiled, " just relax". She searched through her bag and pulled out a tube and squeezed out it's contents, spreading out the gel like substance around the wound, " this is going to feel funny". The gel was supposed to make the applied area numb. Hala mentally counted down in her head when the gel would take effect while she wiped her hands clean with a spare rag she had in her bag and gloves up, getting ready to stitch her back up. "Secret door?" Raider and Wrath exchanged glances. "You don't think?" Wrath whispered. "Forget about the door," Raider narrowed his eyes, "nothing good comes from magic doors" he was visibly angry as he spoke. "So you're searching for a door and you don't even know what's behind it? That's pretty stupid" Wrath cackled. Raider sighed and got off of Lenore, he knew it was probably a bad idea, but she was a fool. "Trust me, this door won't be worth it" ' and if he shows up it would be even worse ' "The way you talk about this door it's as if its like your Holy Grail" Envy spoke up after watching the two. Pride nodded, "he seems busy at the moment so it would just be us" it smiled walking beside him. "I'll make sure we stay away from their direction"

"Oh? The same one who's been messaging you?" Looking over his shoulder he glanced at Syn curiously, "who is it?" He slowed so that he could walk at their side. "Where are we going from here?" Letting Syn lead the way unsure of the directions.
She looked around where they were, unknown where Thena had placed them now, her nose twitched, the area smelled familiar. If need be she would portal back to Shade, but in the meantime she waited for Magnus and Zenos.
It wasn't long before Magnus and Zenos came through the portal. It then closed behind them, a soft breeze snapped them to look around expecting danger. Magnus noticed Nights first, walking over to her and the shadow creature with her. "Are you two okay?"
"Not sure where that vampire spat us out at…but it's not home not for us," Zenos growled a little but was glad to be out of the vampires layer. He shivered at the thought of having to stay there another moment longer.
Slowly sitting up Jarel out his hand on his head glancing around, "looks like we are out…what happened?"
"You almost kicked her butt!" Zenos replied with a small cheer, "but how is Haiz?" He glanced to the woman behind them.
"Some rest and good food will help her feel better. Then she'll kill me later," he replied, running a hand through his hair. "In the meantime…"
Careful to not knock the plush off his head, Storm shook his head. "Let's leave their drama behind for now…I'm thinking of heading in a new direction." He then frowned, "But I'm clueless on the direction…do you have a GPS installed in you?" He half teased as he took Blizzard off his head.
We don't like to feel useless… the little shadow creature signed to Vega as it crossed its arms thinking of what else it could do.
Wanting to nod to Hala, when she said to relax but it was easier said than done. Knowing the other two were either fighting each other or something else didn't make it much easier either. She let out a small sigh as she looked towards the ceiling, not wanting to make Hala more uncomfortable by staring at her.
The shadow creature's ear twitched as it communicated with the other and nodded. "Seems she should be okay, but what of the red assassin? She's out cold… should I teleport us to the hide out?" Looking to the blue assassin, "I could find you two a hide out instead.."
"No I think a healer should check out Reaper to be on the safe side. However I can't trust our group at the moment…" she frowned behind her mask as she pondered on what else she could do for her group.
"To the hide out it is," S.C. smiled as it then formed a portal close by, "We'll be in the living room so we won't bother Hala and Fang."
"Sounds good," Lancer then picked up Reaper and walked towards the portal. S.C. quickly jumped onto the assassin and climbed up to sit on their head. "Comfy?"
"Quite." It giggled as they went through the portal.
"What do you mean not worth it? I've spent a long time in search of the door, you know where it is don't you?" Lenor slowly got to her feet watching Raider closely, "Have you seen what's behind it as well then?"
"Will Raider really be okay with her? I mean she seems pretty strong and very stubborn," Zane asked looking to Pride a little worried of their master, "Not that Raider isn't strong in his own way or anything." He quickly added but he had also never seen Raider fight before, not fully.
Looking around he remembered he was hungry and still needed to eat. Letting out a nervous sigh he tried his best to focus on the task at hand before worrying more about Raider. Turning a corner he glanced down it first before entering it. There seemed to be someone leaning against the wall having a smoke. The trail of the smoke stung his nose, as he looked to the building, it seemed to be an apartment type complex. 'I wonder if this place would be okay…'

Syn took out his phone a d showed the chatroom with several names listed in it, "the one I just mentioned is named Arcana, she's the only girl in the group and easy to spot with her pink hair. But the others are interested to see you as well." He put his phone away and took the lead walking in a direction, "we'll be going to an overnight cafe one of them runs, it's kinder to folks like us and closes before sunrise so people have a chance to get home safely."
Nights continued to look around tonsee if anything seemed familiar, it smelled like the mortal realm and it wasn't obviously the shadow realm. She looked at Magnus and nodded with a smile, "I'm okay," looking to the shadow in her arms she signed to it, "are you okay?"
A thought crossed her mind and unsettled her, her ears flattening against her head. "why did Thena let us go that easy?" 'why was I let go that easy if she put all that effort to put me in that cell? I hope Shade is alright...'
Blizzard giggled softly as he was moved from his head, "well the question is, where are we going? I'm always going to have a location on your vampire and his wolf mate if you ever wanna go back to that, but I'm sure I can try and track down whatever your looking for," he said lightly tapping his own nose with his plush paw.
Vega chuckled and watched the little shadow, "sorry, you missed all the exciting stuff, there's not much else to do here but relax. So, you can stick around and keep me company, or your more than welcome to return to your prince," he reached out and pet the small shadow on its head.
For the second time now Hala had begun to stitch up Fang's wound, feeling more confident the second time around since it wasn't in the middle of a field where danger couldncome back to them, pushing back the memory of the assassin pouncing on her earlier. With her stitches done Hala put a secondary bandage to keep the wound closed before wrapping it up with gauze. "I'm all done. But please you need to rest in order for your neck to heal properly." Hala looked at her sadly knowing that it must be difficult for her to do so if they came undone in less than a day.
"I've seen my fair share of magic doors, especially one that's leads you tona different world entirely with a god that likes to kidnap people and "test" them. I don't know what door your looking for but nothing good could come from it if leads to darkness like you said." Magic doors, it always has to be magic doors. Thanks to the god he mentioned he was really tired of them.
"Why are ya lookin' for the door to darkness? Wanna isolate yourself?" Wrath snickered.
"No, Raider is quite weak on his own," Pride giggled as she walked along side him, looking like a larger than average black cat beside him, "his body is really frail, that's why he has us." Spotting the person Zane was looking at she stopped and looked up at the boy, "I'll keep an eye out if you want to go after him," she looked back to the smoking person.

Looking at the bright screen and seeing the names he nodded. "They own their café??" Shocked about it and yet curious, "what do they serve? Is it all kinds of food or is it mainly for people like us?" He then looked on ahead realizing he had more questions than what Syn could probably handle all at once, "Sorry, I was just surprised to hear there are places like that.."
The shadow nodded and turned its head to the side, "I'm okay but…what is the vampire planning? I don't like it." it shivered in their arms a little concerned on what they should do from here.
"Think we should find Shade? I'm sure he'd like to know Nights I'd safe," Magnus winked at the thought of the reunion, "Maybe make a plan from there…"
Crossing his arms Zenos looked to Jarel to see what they thought. He was still attending to Haiz who was still out cold. "What do you think?"
"We should definitely move, Thena knows where we are and I'd hate to be in a battle with one down," he glanced to Zenos then to the shadow creature, "it could locate Shade for us and make traveling easier…but can Thena trace portals?"
The shadow creature looked at them confused by traced portals. It crossed its arms as it thought on it before signing, "Tracing portals I feel would be difficult unless connected to the person in some way or area.."
"Some where quiet where the snow always seems to fall," he laughed a little running a hand through his white hair, "But I'm not sure of the place…"
Trying to recall the village and snow, he couldn't remember if their was trees or even a path to the village with all the mountains of snow. Storm frowned at the thought, "My memory could be fuzzy on the place I'm thinking of…" Holding the plush so they were face to face he stared unto their eyes, "I just realized I'd lose to you if we had a staring contest." He laughed a little at the small distraction.
It shook its head slowly, "Shade would summon us if needed, so not much to do other than wait." Its yellow eyes looked up to Vega when they petted them, "Do you have work? Or anything you need to do? Maybe I can just keep you company?"
Fang gave a slight nod and an apologetic smile as she slowly sat up assuming the healer had finished. "I'll try not to over due it, but with the evil vampire out.." she trailed off feeling slightly useless and not able to help the other two assassins if they got attacked again. Turning her head slightly as the numbing agent seemed to help, it only felt tingly when she moved it. "Do you still have my mask?"
"Hopefully Fang is doing better..we could really use her," Lancer grumbled glancing to Reaper, "she really doesn't look good.." worry crept into her voice and she looked around. Spotting a makeshift bed in the middle of the living room. Lancer then gently set Reaper down and looked to the little shadow creature not fully looking at them. "What exactly are you guys? Your too small to really be a threat…"
"Hey, watch it we are mighty together than apart," it hissed a little offended, "besides we are kind of the clean up crew where we come from. Never go hungry or get fat." It giggled at the thought if a shadow creature being plump rubbing their belly from a good meal. It's ear then twitched and glanced towards the bedroom. "I could see if Hala is ready to check Reaper, but she may need rest herself…" S.C. frowned wondering of Hala had gotten any sleep or rest since the last visit.
"I've heard of a door that will grant what you seek," Lenore treaded carefully, ignoring the plush as it was a little irritating. "The rhyme goes like this 'Once under, then over, through and behind what you seek is hard to find. Only one knows the way, find him I dare not say. They know the way but getting to tell, you may end up getting killed.' Not quite sure what it means but if it's something that can help I'll gladly take it." She crossed Her arms carefully, her wounds taking a little more time to heal. "What I seek there is no answer for." She growled, "many I'm sure have died searching for the answer. So my question is, are you the one the rhyme it talks about?"
Freezing in the spot Zane looked to the plush a little confused at the same time unsure. "He's weak on his own? How is that?" He couldn't imagine a weak Raider in a fight like. They were a necromancer, "couldn't he find vital spots and cause victims to bleed out and turn them into puppets or…plush so to speak?" He thought of a plush Lenore and shivered at the idea, "then again maybe not all victims…"

"They serve normal food for their friends and the normies that come through but they also have things that we'll be able to enjoy. I don't know how they get it but they always have some sort of blood supply." Syn looked at the sky, he never did question why Kasius always had blood for him and others. Maybe it was his friends making sure he didn't go psycho? He shrugged it off and looked back to Ishimu, "think of it like some sort of save haven for vampires and other creatures of the night," he smiled at his red head friend.
Nights nuzzled the little shadow seeing that it was okay, "I don't like it either, I'm actually a little scared" she signed to the it, her ears drooping slightly. She looked to the group as they talked about looking for Shade, "I can portal us back to where I believe he's still there, but I'm not sure how safe it will be. And this little guy says it would be difficult for her to trace it unless she's connected to the person or area." She looked at the shadow in her arms and gave it a light squeeze before signed, "if there's any shadows with Shade can you tell them to tell him I'm bringing company back?"
Blizzard's tail began to wag hearing where Storm wanted to go, "you wanna try and find Maru?" He gave the man a gin as he was turned towards him. "well I can definitely say I don't smell any snow around here, that's for sure," he said sniffing the air around them. He tilted his head and laughed with Storm, "your silly. I'm sure even if I was alive I could still beat you!"
Maru. He wondered if she was looking for him all this time? He didn't even know how long he had been dead. He only knew his cause, a friend he had when he was "Rin" had turned and killed him. Then a thought crossed his mind, his plush white ears lowered as he looked to Storm, "do you think she's still alive?" He asked quietly.
Vega nodded reading the shadow, "I'm all done with work for the day and maybe for a few more. Our village is quite peaceful so there's no real need for weapons besides the ones we already have." he reached out and pet the small shadow, " you're more than welcome to keep me company though," he smiled to it.
Hala watched her carefully tonsee if she showed any more signs of pain but felt a little relieved when she seemed fine. She perked up when the mask was mentioned and looked where the other robed assassin had put it before giving it to her. "I don't know what needs to be done with the vampire you speak of but I hope it gets done swiftly and safely," she gave her a reassuring smile and slight squeeze on the arm before collecting her belongings and cleaning up.
Raider listened closely to the rhyme but couldn't say that he knew it. He shook his head slowly and placed a hand over the small wound he had gotten, willing for it to heal quickly, "I don't know what any of that means and I don't know if I'm the one your looking for. So just tell me Lenore sonwe can stop this dance and you can leave Zane alone. I've been around for several centuries so maybe there's a thing or two that can help." His eyes broke contact for a moment as he looked at Envy and Greed climbed up the man and perched on his shoulders as they watched the woman. Was he the answer she needed? Who the hell knew.
Pride nodded its head, "well things like that are obvious, but it's close combat that's his greatest weakness. If any great harm comes to his body there's a grave chance that he could die unless we get him a new body, if he dies so do we. The Raider you see now isn't what he originally looked lik, that body is long gone." The man had one other weakness but it kept that to itself incase anyone was listening. "I don't think he's tried making a human plush out of an actual body..." It said thinking back.
