“I thought Holly was unable to lie,” Ishimu frowned at the fairy unable to lie to cover their tracks, “Unless we tell her what's going on maybe she can kind of scarce the truth with out really saying it…”
Following Syn he looked around them feeling a little nervous. Half expecting to run into the gang of bullies, hoping they wouldn’t, he looked on ahead trying to get his mind off it. “What should we do after?” He glanced towards Syn curiously.
The shadow creature squealed when Nights had picked it up. Looking up at her it gave a small nod as if understanding and looked back to the cloaked assassin. Its ears twitched as it communicated to the other shadow creatures in the area. It turned its head to the side before frowning at something and looked back to Nights. I don’t think we are alone here…
Shaking her head Reaper looked to Nights, “Whether the shadow creature speaks or not is of little consequence. As for the others…” she trailed off and looked into the shadows of the trees as if something had caught her eye. “I don’t know where Fang had gone, she had left before the witch attacked. Lancer is definitely not in the area if she was she would have been here by now.”
“Wait it was you and Lancer against…” Kelarth frowned and looked around them feeling confused as he looked back to Reaper, “Then where is Lancer?”
“Taken,” Reaper replied gritting her sharp teeth if it wasn’t for the mask she was sure it would have scared them, “I would have finished her if I knew where she sent Lancer. She was wide open after Lancer’s disappearance.”
Kelarth’s eyes were wide as he looked to Nights, “That’s not possible she’s never transported someone through her portals before. We always assumed she couldn’t…”
Baring her sharp teeth she glared at the werewolf, “If you are calling me a liar werewolf…”
“No not at all, we just never suspected-” Kelarth stuttered watching the blade in the assassin’s hands. Taking a small step back as he watched the red-cloaked assassin’s hands tighten around their weapon.
“As I said it’s not safe here,” red eyes looked to the trees before hearing something behind her causing her to turn with a swiftness, their blade swung in the same grace. Their blade almost coming in contact with someone’s neck, the assassin then let out a growl, “I should have cut your head clean off…”
“If you had, you wouldn’t know where your partner was,” came a female voice from the shadows, their hand gripped the blade of Reaper’s weapon pushing it away with ease knowing the assassin wouldn’t do anything. “Now that you are more like a trained dog with more bark than bite. You won’t touch me until your other is safe,” Thena smirked before looking to Kelarth and Nights, “It's good to see you two again, under much better circumstances.”
Upon seeing Thena, Kelarth quickly went to his wolf form. Brown fur raised as he growled at the vampire, sharp teeth bared as if ready to attack but the assassin got in his way. Red eyes barred into him as if daring him to attack and she’d be the one to slice him. A small whimper of confusing went through him as he glanced towards Nights wondering what they should do.
You’ll be in for a treat, S.C. smiled to Hala as it signed back.
Watching the two, S.C. smiled before nodding and waving to Vega as he left. He then looked to Hala with a small grin before focusing on where to put the portal window. Looking for a perfect angle for the alpha to see the weapons coming to them. When he found the best spot, he had the window form on the wall towards the far corner before jumping off Hala’s shoulder and running towards it. Looking for any sign of the Fay in the window, squeaking to get anyone’s attention on the other side.
Startled by the squeaks behind him, Fay glanced to the new window that had formed. Trying to mask his grim worries he walked over to the shadow window. “S.C.? I’m guessing it’s you,” he looked around for the shadow creature on the other side. Yellow eyes had bounced at the bottom of the window catching his attention, “Are you unable to see?”
“Just a little,” S.C. pouted crossing its arms as it looked around the room for a box or something to stand on. Seeing a box, it hoped it would be tall enough to be seen. Scrambling to the box it quickly moved it towards the shadow window, giving small grunts as it was soon in place. Climbing up it did a small tadah pose and looked to Fay with a small wave, “How is the shadow realm?”
“You don’t want to know that answer,” Fay grimaced as he then looked to the corner of the window, seeing only the figure just out of his vision. “Is the alpha there with you S.C.?”
“Sadly he had gone to get the rest of the materials I am to send you! They are finally complete, and I must say you’ll be impressed!” S.C. replied happily before turning its head to the side, “However his….” Frowning it wasn’t sure what to really call Hala, “This is Hala, one of the..” It trailed off again in frustration as it looked back to Hala signing, Sorry…
Raising an eyebrow, Shade watching Blinky a little concerned on the note of them finding Reaper. “Are they alright?”
“As far as I know something started the shadow creature with Nights,” Blinky frowned curiously of what could be scarier than Reaper.
“Find out what’s going on,” Shade grumbled crossing his arms and leaning against the wall. He looked to Toshi who had their eyes closed. ‘Is he trying to sleep standing up?’ A little baffled on the sight he looked to Kema, “I should send you home...you won’t be much use if Thena attacks you.”
“I wish I could be of more help,” Kema replied with a small smile, “I hope the witch gets what is coming to her…” Getting to his feet he stretched his limbs and glanced to Toshi, “Keep the gloves in case you need them. I have extra.” He smiled to the vampire who seemed to pretend to be asleep. He then looked back to Shade, “I hope for the best my prince.” He bowed as the dark portal opened in the middle of the room.
“Thank you for your help Kema, I won't ask any more of you,” he gave a small smile to Kema, “Give your clan my regards, I’ll explain to them the need of you…”
“I hope they won’t be too harsh on you,” Kema replied with a frown as he stepped into the portal and before long was gone.
Shade ran a hand through his purple hair and looked back to Blinky, “Remind me of my duties…” When the shadow creature nodded he then moved to sit on the floor.
“What do we do about Thena?” Toshi frowned opening an eye and watching the vampire sit.
“In all honesty, I’m not sure…” he looked to Blinky who’s ears twitched, “What is it Blinky?”
“Someone is close...I had stretched our barrier to warn us sooner on when an enemy is near..” Blinky frowned shaking its head, “It isn’t good..” It glanced towards the door as if expecting something to happen.
“Enemy? Who?” Shade growled getting into a crouch and watching the shadow creature, “Thena?”
The shadow creature shook its head and frowned, “No it's definitely not Thena…”
“I’m sure your name wasn’t snow…” Storm teased as he watched Rin trying to think, “However you could be called snow as it would fit you now..” He gave a small smile to the plush as he then turned the corner and looked on ahead, “Any idea on what house he is in?” Looking back towards Fang who was still eyeing the plush, he rolled his eyes. “It's a stuffed animal that talks, get over it,” his blue eyes glared at the assassin who shook their head.
Looking to the houses she was a little curious about how far they would take her before turning tail and running. ‘Why would he hate a vampire so much?’ the thought made her a little uneasy as she thought about the vampire she had seen only vaguely. He didn’t seem to attack without reason, and the vampire even helped Lancer. Putting a hand to her neck, she winced before pulling it back. A faint trace of blood lingered on her hand, searching in her robes for something to help until she was able to rebandage herself. Pulling out a vile she glanced at it making sure it was the right one before quickly downing it. When the mask was back in place she had hoped the werewolf she was following didn’t try to steal a glance. When she was satisfied he had seen nothing she put the empty vile back in her pocket.
‘A friend?’ Zane smiled and gave a small nod, “I’d like that, and one day maybe even close friends.” Trying to hide his excitement and trying hard not to hug the necromancer he looked back ahead, though still smiling. He put his hands behind his head as he looked to the dark allies but seeing no one that he could even sneak up on. Frowning he thought he had heard something up ahead, curious at what he had heard. ‘Are we getting close?’

“She is unable to lie, but we haven't really tried to see if she could through text” Syn looked at his phone curious, wondering if they should try it out but second guess himself if it did backfire and hurt Holly in the end. ‘Not worth it....’
Syn looked around them as they walked, “well, we could actually visit Holly? This way were not making her lie and were not lying to your mother? Or we can go hunt afterwards? Skip rocks? The night is truly ours if we don't run into any trouble” he laughed.
Nights grew worried for the blue cloaked assassin, she just couldn't catch a break from their first meeting and her back wound was still fresh. If Thena did portal her away who knows where she was and if she was alright. She bit the inside of her lip frustrated.
Reaper suddenly attacking something in the shadows caught her off guard but instinctively growled seeing who it was, “Thena!” feeling her muscles tense she put the shadow creature down and stood in front of it holding one of her hands behind her back hoping she could see it, “Report. Shade. Run” she tried to sign the best with one hand.
Looking at Kelarth she shook her head slightly and watched Thena carefully, ‘were not going to be able to portal out of this i'm afraid’ “Where did you take Lancer?” she tried to hold back her anger clenching her fists.
Hala watched as S.C. opened a portal, looking over it curiously, only seeing Nights and Leilani do it a few times but to only go through it, not have it like a window. She fought back the urge to poke it in fear she might lose a finger.
Her ears perked up seeing another person on the end, their environment vastly contrasted their own. “Greetings” she signed to the person who looked like he was having a bad day.
Ear twitching slightly hearing S.C. the Alpha she laughed quietly, she smiled and signed to S.C. “I’m the Alpha, Vega acts as my voice so he may seem like he is, but if you don't want to break the illusion just call me the pack healer” she winked at the shadow.
Vega walked back into the hut along with two other people, a tall male with shaggy red hair and pale green eyes and a small girl with black hair and yellow eyes, all carrying three large crates. Looking over the crate he carried Vega smiled, “Hello again Fey, I hope things are alright over there, or that we can make it a little better with what we have” the two with him set the two crates down gently on top of each other with Vega doing the same.
“I know it wasn't that, but snow keeps popping into my head, like its related, or my mind is slowly going numb like snowfall with my overthinking” Rin mumbled. Looking back ahead of them he looked at the houses, “he might be in the last or the second to last house, the number of scents with his has died down to...three? Something smells odd with him” he tilted his head, he knew the scent but didn’t know who it went to
Looking between Storm and Fang he snickered, remembering his first reaction with Storm looking similar to how Fang was looking at him.
“That's a possibility” Raider smiled and placed a hand on Zane’s head giving it a gentle rub. As they walked the buildings became more dense and filled with people, it was definitely the city.
Wrath kept closer to Raider’s neck, trying to fake blend in with his clothing and hair, knowing Raider would look really crazy walking around with a kid and a cat plush on his shoulder. It wouldn't stop the plush from attacking if need be though.
“If you think you see anyone you can take on tell me, the place I talked about is close by and should have some easy people you can take on” Raider spoke on a low tone so only Zane could hear.

“If we make Holly lie, she may be mad about it,” Ishimu laughed a little knowing the fairy might forgive them one day, “After Holly we could…” Trailing off he glanced to Syn unsure what they did with their free time. “You can see your group of friends if you want. I think Holly called them your gang.” Ishimu teased as he glanced to the buildings starting to see something look familiar.
Taking the lead he put his hands behind his head and looked towards the starry night sky thinking on what they could do. 'Skipping rocks would be fun, we have only done that once...' trailing from his thought he glanced to Syn from the corner of his eye curious of what they had wanted to do. 'The park wasn't too bad, but...too many people...'
“She is here, and there yet nowhere,” Thena laughed watching the tense red cloaked assassin, “I’m impressed Shade let you leave his side, white wolf.”
“Just remember I could have killed you twice, I won’t hesitate on the third,” Reaper growled watching Thena closely.
Shaking her head Thena made a small tsk at Reaper, “Until your companion is safe, I doubt you’ll touch me.” Looking back to Nights, with a small smile, “You on the other hand like to meddle in my plans but no more.” A portal opened under Nights’ feet, Kelarth and Reaper both made a move to help, “Help her and I’ll be sure to kill that blue cloaked demon.”
The shadow creature shook its head not wanting to leave Nights. It hissed and glared at Thena but the vampire had it little attention. Crossing its arms it slumped to the ground watching them. Ignoring Blinky’s demand of wanting to know what was going on. When it had seen the portal under Nights’ feet it had crouched, then jumped.
Both stopped in their tracks glaring at Thena who seemed quite pleased over the situation. It made Kelarth’s skin crawl as he looked to Nights with a whimper, ‘Shade is going to kill me…’
“What is it you want snake?” Reaper spat keeping her anger in check had become almost unbearable as she really wanted to cut the vampire’s head clean off their shoulders.
“What I want? I want Shade,” she smiled letting the portal close when Nights was through. “If you’ll excuse me.” A portal then appeared below her feet as she watched Kelarth make a move towards her. The assassin blocked their way but the red eyes never left her.
When Thena was gone Kelarth growled at Reaper, “Why did you stop me!?”
“How would you save Nights when we don’t know where she even is?” Reaper glared at the brown haired werewolf who had his arms crossed over their chest, “I don’t know where Lancer is, and until then I’ll bide my time. Now, where is Shade?”
~~~*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~
Shoving Nights into a cell before they could recover from the portal. Thena quickly closed the cell door and smiled at them, “This room is special, scream all you want no one will hear you. Portals won’t even work in there or I would have had no need to follow you. Now I just need to find Shade whether or not you tell me, I will find him.”
~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~
Leading the way slowly as if not recalling where the house was. Kelarth looked around nervously before looking to the red-cloaked assassin who followed with their scythe out. Feeling more nervous as if they would use it on him he looked back ahead. ‘Shade has scary friends…’ he whimpered though kept it quiet until he felt a poke in the middle of his back that had caused him to jump.
“Are you that afraid?” Reaper asked though the smugness was in her voice she enjoyed the werewolf’s discomfort a bit.
“Don’t flatter yourself. You know how you are with your missing teammate? Well, Shade might be way worse than that with Nights gone. The werewolf she had taken was Shade’s mate. I failed him by not protecting her, which you wouldn’t let me do,” Kelarth growled irritated before looking to the ground, “Sorry...I shouldn’t have said that..”
“Flatter is a word I wouldn’t use to describe myself, not even my mood. However, I do understand. I could have saved Lancer, moved her, or caught her before she had even hit the wall. But I was paralyzed to do anything. Seeing the pain in those eyes of hers, however, is something I had not expected. Lancer isn’t one to show emotion, not even in the most crucial of moments. Wherever Lancer is, I hope she is okay and I expect her to slug me when she returns. Though I do wonder if this was not Lancer’s plan…” Reaper shrugged and looked to the werewolf seeing them beating themselves up over Nights’ disappearance. “If it wasn’t her it could have been one of us..”
“As long as it wasn’t you or Nights, I think if I had to choose who went it would be me. You seem a close friend to Shade,” Kelarth looked on ahead not seeing anything in the shadows.
“What makes you so sure?” Reaper stopped and watched the werewolf closely, “Shade doesn’t know us, nor has he really known us long. If his head were ever on our hit list, there would be nothing we could do. We kill or capture, nothing more.”
“Talk about harsh, I hope my own head never comes to cross paths with you three. At least not as enemies…” Kelarth had stopped and looked back towards her.
“Are you certain it's not Thena?” Shade looked to Blinky as he thought on who else it could be, “Don’t tell me it Storm…” Closing his eyes he forced himself to relax, feeling a bit of anxiety over two people chasing him though one was worse than the other. Storm was just a thorn in his side while Thena seemed to be the whole prickly bush. “Anything on Kelarth and Reaper?”
“Sorry, the shadow creature hasn’t reported yet. I don’t know what is really going on…” Blinky looked to Shade, its yellow eyes watching the vampire worried for them, “Why not rest? Toshi and I can handle Storm.”
“You two?” Shade looked to Toshi who shrugged at him but knowing Blinky the shadow creature would keep insisting that he rest. He grumbled something under his breath that made Blinky giggle, “Alright but holler and I’ll tackle the wolf, Toshi can knock him out and you can send him somewhere.”
The shadow creature nodded at the plan and watched Shade head into the bedroom. Once Shade was gone it raced to Toshi, climbed up their leg and then sat on their shoulder. Yellow eyes watched them carefully as its ears lowered, putting a hand to signal the vampire to stay quiet.
“I couldn’t get a hold of the shadow creature that is with Nights. However, the shadow creatures in the area had told me Thena was in the park. She had taken Nights if I had told Shade he would have teleported there. But by then Thena and Nights would be gone, and he would be helping no one. Reaper and Kelarth are headed here,” Blinky whispered with a frown, trusting that Toshi would keep this information to himself, “I thought it best for Kelarth to tell Shade…”
“Shade will be unpredictable once he finds out,” Toshi agreed as he glanced towards the bedroom door, “Let’s hope Nights is alright…”
“The shadow creature better be with her too,” Blinky hissed irritated at the situation.
Heading down the block Storm looked at the possible houses. Keeping Rin close as he focused on the two werewolf scents and which would be the most recent. Heading to the left he petted the plush’s head. “Don’t overthink it, Raider said it would come in time..”
Knocking on the door, he looked back to Fang who was busy digging around in their robe for something. “You’re here now, what are you doing?”
The assassin pulled out a black cylinder and looked to Storm before opening it. The black haze hidden inside had engulfed Fang before cawing out into the night, forming the same Raven that Reaper had released just hours ago. She then looked back to Storm with a small nod.
“What was that?” To him, there was no sound only the black haze with red eyes and outstretched wings. It was a little intimidating to see as he looked back up at it.
Rolling her eyes knowing Storm wouldn’t understand her. She knelt down on the walkway and scribbled down two words before looking up at him. Tapping the charcoal on the ground to get their attention. A Sign standing up she crossed her arms as she wasn’t going to say for who it was for.
“Besides the strange demon that is roaming the streets, everything is alright so far. The Rohza have yet to attack us, but what you can give we will make due..” Fay replied looking towards Vega and the two helping them.
S.C. blinked not realizing she was the alpha and nearly squeaked. Nodding it looked back to Fay turning its head to the side, “Strange demon? I wonder if it's the same I had heard on…”
“I was going to bring them here in hopes that you could take them home. But that had failed…” he looked to something that was out of sight from the window, “Send for the blacksmith and get what they had finished here, please. It's ready to be sent.”
“How did they get away?” S.C. frowned curiously, “One shadow had seen them, I think they were wearing blue I believe. They had taken them to Shade's Castle, so they should be safe until I look into it.” It gave a small smile and glanced to Vega, “If all is set I shall do the transfer.”
“I have someone getting what we had agreed to,” Fay gave a small smile pleased with the work that the blacksmiths had worked on. "Jarel and his group had found her, though I don't know the details..." Looking to S.C. who gave a small nod.
It wasn't much longer when another knock was on the door, causing Fay to look at the door. “No there is no need for the search now. The shadow creatures had dealt with it.” Fay shook his head looking back to the window, “Sorry about that…I hope all is well with Moon Pass.”
“I believe everything is fine,” S.C. glanced to Vega then to Hala knowing she was the actual alpha of Moon Pass. Its ears lowered feeling a little bad over the mix-up. “Oh! This is Hala, she's the alpha of Moon Pass, but she has Vega as her voice. I am sorry I had gotten it mixed up…”
“Hala?” Fay looked to the female alpha with a small bow, “You have my gratitude for what you have given us. If there is anything we could do for Moon Pass, you just have to ask.”
Turning its head to the side curiously, “I could keep a shadow creature here just in case.” S.C. smiled looking to Hala. “Unless we creep out the pack too much. But I'm sure what you are offering may be enough to not be so in debt, maybe..”
Nodding Zane looked to some of the people around, feeling a little nervous whenever he saw a few in a group. He was hoping to pinpoint one out that was alone, an easy target. He glanced to Wrath with who had become quiet when the streets had gotten a little loud. Looking back ahead he wasn’t sure if he’d really be able to find what he was hoping to find. ‘The best would be someone who is alone, someone who won’t have friends miss him while he recovers…’ Zane thought hoping the further down they went the better the pickings might be.

“She would only mad at me because I know of her conditions extent,” he laughed, “but even then she doesn't stay mad for the long, you’ll just get called names”. He looked at Ishimu and laughed a little, “she would call them that, but if you like I could introduce them to you, i know i talked about them a couple of times, that's if there even home though”
Seeing Ishimu take the lead he assumed he recognized something and knew where to go from here. He decided to take the opportunity to check on the group chat that he silenced a long time ago, not wanting constant notifications, curious about them now that they were mentioned. He saw that all six were home now but it seemed like Quintus and Loch were thinking about going back out, Quintus wanting to see his mother and Loch seemed to have some business in his pack. Glancing at Ishimu he hoped if they did go to see them afterward he would meet them all.
“And i’ll keep getting your wa-” Nights cut herself off feeling the portal around her. She struggled to get free but found that she couldn't. She shot Kelarth a glance trying to convey she was going to be alright but she was sure it was more of a mix of anger and worry. ‘Protect Shade’ she wish she could tell him before she slipped through the portal.
Once through and disoriented she felt hands shoving her, snapping back she ran at what shoved her she ran into bars of a cell, her hand inches away from Thena. Her hair stood on end and a deep growl came from her throat seeing the vile woman. “Don't you dare touch him witch” Nights growled baring her teeth at the woman feeling herself shift into her wolf form before trying to break down the door by ramming herself into it.
Rin sniffed at the door and nodded, “he’s in here as well as someone else” climbing a little out of Storm’s arms and knocked on the door like he had dome, barely making any sound, “We know you’re in there!” he called to the people inside. He turned his ears towards the door to see if he could make out any words or sounds from inside but got nothing, his ears weren't as good as his nose.looking back at Storm and fang curious, “do we break down the door if they don't answer?”
Hala returned the bow to Fay, “There is no need for thanks, I didn’t even know about this arrangement until now,” she looked sheepishly as she signed, “as long as we can help that’s enough, and if you are friends with Shade that means even more to us” she smiled.
Vega looked over Hala and S.C. into the window, “Fay, how should we send these by? Their quite heavy, plus, I have a little something I wanted to make you personally” he said with a grin.
“If you don't think it would waste time here I wouldn’t having one here, just in case we need to get in contact for some reason”
Raider looked at the buildings around them and spotted where he originally wanted to take him. “This is the place i was talking about, I know there's people in between the ages of young teen and young adult”.
The building as a old looking arcade that looked like it was closing for the night, the neon lights that spelled out the words “ARCADE” were shutting down one by one as people slowly made their way out of the building, some hanging around outside or going into the allies nearby to talk on their phones, smoke or just hang around for their own reasons.
“An arcade? I mean it's not as bad as the dog park I was thinking about” Wrath whispered.
“A dog park? I’m surprised no one has gotten seriously hurt…” Raider mumbled.

Thinking back to when they were at Syn’s house, before the weird princess girl had stopped by, Ishimu was sure there was someone else there besides the injured blue assassin on the couch. Frowning he glanced towards Syn, “I think I met some, well not really so much as met as far as circumstances had gone. But I remember a red and yellow cloaked figure going into the house and breaking your door…” Looking back ahead he looked to the looming buildings and alleyways, “Weren’t the ones in the bedroom part of your friends?” ‘ Bad idea!’ THe shadow creature thought clinging to Nights’ shirt until she turned into their werewolf form. Clinging on for dear life had started to become hard as its fingers started to slip from Nights’ fur. ‘ Please make it stop!’ Its head had hit the back of Nights’ head causing it to let go. Falling to the ground it had rolled, quickly getting to its feet in a daze as it hid behind Nights hoping that Thena hadn’t seen it. “Since you won't tell me, I shall find him on my-” she trailed off as she was sure she had seen something fly off of Nights and disappear into the dim light of the cell, “own. Is there something else in there with you?” She purred curious of what else had followed Nights’ into her portal. The shadow creature froze in fear, keeping close to Nights back paw hoping the wolf wouldn’t move. ‘ Please go away…’ It thought wanting Thena to leave as it huddled in a ball, hoping Nights wouldn’t kick it on accident. “I’m coming keep your shirt on,” Toshi called walking to the door and opening it. He glanced to Fang then to Storm, “Well that’s two assassin’s down to find.” Smiling Blinky stood near Toshi’s side and glanced to Storm, “I know a secret, and it’s about you.” It giggled hoping to raise the wolf’s curiosity. Found two? Is Lancer or Reaper not here? Fang signed to the shadow creature confused on what she may have missed while gone on their mission to bring Thena back to headquarters. “Sadly neither are here, at least not at the moment. Reaper is on her way here though,” Blinky hit Toshi in the leg playfully to get the vampire’s attention, “Let them in, we have much to talk about.” Toshi had moved to allow then in, watching Storm as he wasn’t sure on the wolf’s reaction to Blinky’s statement. Fang and Storm had walked in and Toshi closed the door behind them. The shadow creature moved into the living room and looked from Toshi then to Storm. “You can take him into the other room if you want. Now that Kema isn’t here there will be better privatesy.” “What is it about?” Storm asked glancing from Blinky to Toshi confused on what they were trying to hide from him. He hated surprises, and this felt like it was going to be just that. “I don’t like surprises.” “It’s about your past, what really happened to your pack...Please allow me to show you so you may have some peace of mind and let your packmates rest,” Toshi tried to explain, hoping the werewolf would allow it. Heading into the bedroom he motioned for Storm to follow him into the bedroom where they could have some time together. Not to mention the side effect of what he was going to do. Stopping in the middle of the room he looked towards Storm waiting for them. Watching the vampire head into the bedroom, Storm gripped Rin tightly to him as he slowly followed them. Expecting it to be a trap and Shade to jump out of nowhere he looked around the room to find there was no sign of the vampire. Just him and Toshi. “How will I know what you are saying is real?” “Fake or real you decide. I only figured to give you this opportunity to put your packmates to rest. Focus on the real that that had killed your family and close friends in cold blood and who had framed Shade. You deserve to know the truth,” Toshi explained taking off one of the gloves Kema had given him. Reaching out to Storm, “If it’s fake you can continue as if nothing happened. But I will not be telling you the memories I have seen, no you will witness what I had seen.” “No tricks vampire,” Storm growled putting Rin down next to his feet as he looked to Toshi’s outstretched hand. “No tricks,” Toshi agreed as Storm then took his hand. Both their eyes had closed as Toshi focused on the memory he had wished to show Storm. “Kill a werewolf pack on the other world, but leave the alpha to live. Let him run for the one he thinks had killed his pack, his blood thirst and vengeance will be unmatched. A great challenge to the young prince of vampires. It will be a lovely distraction and you know who to become?” A vampire asked who had long brown hair and red eyes, a much younger looking vampire than the one Storm had seen. Kneeling near her feet was some kind of demon he couldn’t make out, as they nodded to her. The dark room was dimly lit with torches on the pillars that had almost masked the throne that stood behind the young vampire girl.
“Take the form of Shade, study the pack then kill them. Leaving one witness to injured to survive but be sure they see me as the young prince,” the demon replied looking up to Thena before bowing and leaving the room. When the demon’s back was turned on the vampire, they had already started to transform into Shade as they exited out of the room. Storm growled in anger at the vampire, his hands becoming fists.
Then the memory cut out and the room was brightly lit by torches along the wall. The long table centered the room and at the far end was a fire in the fireplace. Sitting at the head of the table was Thena with a glass that looked like wine but Storm knew better. The doors to the room opened and the demon from before was covered in blood, his packmates’ blood. Watching the demon kneel down at the chair that Thena was sitting in as Thena seemed pleased with what she had seen. Anger from the past, as if it had just happened started to flare up as he watched the demon covered in blood.
“The job is done,” the demon looked up to Thena as the vampire chuckled and then laughed it bounced off the walls of the room as she enjoyed the news of his packs fate.
Growling Storm flinched as he tried to pull away from Toshi who had held him fast. Before he could break free something caught his attention. Realizing he wasn’t seeing Thena or hearing her voice in his head. Unsure of what he was seeing, he blinked a few times in the dimly lit room. There were soft light from the ceiling that had cut off into a square keeping one section dark as he looked out of something he couldn’t quite understand. Bubbles floated up towards a surface somewhere above his head. Find himself able to breath he looked around to the three yellow dimly lit cylinders that were large enough to go from the top of the ceiling down to the floor. What caught his eye was something flashing near his feet, he was sure it was some kind of computer telling him the vitals. But there was one word that nearly shocked him out of Toshi’s hand, the flashing light read Toshi.
Weakened by his ability Toshi had fallen to the ground and Storm had fallen to the floor harder than what Toshi had intended. Wincing Toshi got to one knee crouched as he watched the werewolf struggle to regain himself. He could only imagine the outrage he was feeling, but at least now the werewolf knew. Hoping Storm would now leave Shade alone and go for the real threat he slowly allowed himself to sit. “Take your time to adjust it in, its very hard to take it all in sometimes…” “What had I seen towards the end? What was that,” Storm whispered as he looked to Toshi on his hands and knees, gasping for air as he tried to regain himself. His muscles tense with his anger as he tried to calm himself, knowing there was no way he could even attack Shade if he was to go after the vampire. “I showed you Thena the one who killed your pack. Then showed evidence of what happened after. As I said they are Thena’s memories so she wouldn’t have have seen the demon personally kill your pack.” “Not that, the last bit, what was up with the lab?” Storm shook his head trying to not feel so dizzy as he glared at Toshi, “I know it was you, I saw your name.” “That was me, a test subject you could say. Not human, not demon, and yet not really a vampire. I crave blood but can’t keep it down, the ability they gave me will kill me one day, and over time depending how often I use it. I rather use the gift to help while I can,” Toshi said regaining his breathing he looked to Storm, “I fabricated truth, or can but the memory I showed you is intact and not messed with. What you do now is on you on which way you’ll turn.” Closing his eyes he could only imagine what the demon had done to his packmates. Remembering the claw marks, the stab wounds, he growled at his frustration as he dug his nails into the wood. Unsure what to really believe, or how far Shade would go to prove he hadn’t done it. ‘ If Shade really didn’t do it, and it was this Thena vampire the whole time…’ he trailed off from his thoughts as he struggled on what he should do. When S.C. translated what Hala had said to Fay, the shadow creature smiled happily, “Shall I send them over to the room you are in or shall I send them to the blacksmith?” “Here should be fine, I think most of it will fit on the table,” Fay replied before looking to Vega, “S.C. and most of the shadow creatures can open the portal under the items to transport them. It's interesting that they can move things than just demons and human alike. There are rumors that our world was made up of what the shadow creatures had transported by what the shadow creatures found interesting or eye catching.” Grinning S.C. started with the boxes that Vega, the male with him, and the little girl had brought. Making sure to only take the boxes it looked back to Fay to be sure they were being sent to the right location. When the boxes arrived on the floor next to the table, S.C. started to work on the next set of boxes. “What is in the boxes?” Looking to the boxes that were stacked on top of each other, he wasn’t sure on what mystery lurked within, “As for Vega’s gift, I’d be happy take it S.C. If you’d have it near my feet when he is ready. The blacksmiths should be here soon..” “Dog park? What do you mean?” Zane glanced from the buildings and looked to Wrath and Raider curiously, “Is it that dangerous?” In his mind the thought of a dog park was a place to let dogs run free in an enclosed area while their owners talked. To him that didn’t seem like such a bad place, but the way they had made it sound he guessed it wasn’t what he had thought it was. ~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~ Hearing the cry of the Raven, and seeing the sign Reaper ran towards it with speed. The sound of paws next to her caught her attention as she looked down to see a brown wolf running at her side. “Can’t keep up otherwise huh?” She then looked back towards the signal. Weaving in and out of allies and houses until it was straight ahead. Unsure of which comrad she would find, Reaper didn’t bother to knock as she opened the door. Looking around she saw Fang and a shadow creature together in the living room. “Fang?” Reaper walked to the yellow cloaked assassin who turned to face her. Looking around she saw no sign of Lancer. ‘ Just as I thought she’s really gone,’ Reaper looked back to the yellow gold assassin, “Where did you go?” Looking to the shadow creature as Fang signed to it, Reaper looked back towards Fang a little puzzled on what was being said. “Fang says Lancer had sent her to find Shade in hopes the vampire could help before Thena could escape. But it seems I was to late..” Blinky looked to Reaper sadly as it turned it’s head to the side, “What happened?” “Thena attacked at dusk, she got threw her bindings on her wrists. Lancer must have predicted it for she had struck at Thena just as her hands were shown. It seemed Thena was also ready for it and had swung Lancer into a wall, before I could even reach her…” Reaper trailed off closing her eyes as she recalled what Thena had done, “Some dark spot had formed under Lancer, and before I could do anything she was gone. I could have killed Thena but she said she was the only one who knew where Lancer was…” Looking to Fang sadly she watched the yellow assassin as they seemed to shake, “I’m sorry Fang.” Hearing panting near the door entrance, Reaper looked over her shoulder, “There you are, I thought I left you in the dust.” Kelarth glared at her as he slumped into the house and closed the door behind him. He grumbled something under his breath as he turned back into his normal form. Laying down, back to the floor, he closed his eyes catching his breath as he listened to the assassins. Putting her arms around Reaper, causing the assassin to drop their blade to the floor, Fang rested her head on the assassin’s shoulder. Weary and feeling weak, the worry of Lancer missing and no way to find her haunted her. Surprised that Reaper had hugged her back instead of pushing her away Fang closed her eyes. “Fang?” Reaper looked to the yellow assassin as their hands weakened their hold on her robes. Red eyes narrowed as she looked to Blinky, “Where is the bedroom?” When the shadow creature pointed down the hall, Reaper took Fang into her arms and headed towards it. “Shade is in there!” Blinky squeaked remembering Shade was resting as it quickly poked its head down the hall, ‘ Ooops…’ Opening the door awkwardly with the yellow assassin in her arms, Reaper looked to the half asleep vampire on the bed. Putting Fang on the floor for the moment, Reaper walked over and picked up shade by their shirt. Their eyes locked as Reaper watched the vampire closely, “I need the bed, get out.” She was going to throw the vampire off the bed until she felt something in the middle of her back. Turning her head she noticed it was Fang’s forehead resting against her back. Releasing the vampire she let them fall onto the bed as she picked Fang back up. Shade looked to Reaper as he was about to protest but the look in Reaper’s eyes told him he should better move. Getting out of the bed he headed to the door and closed it behind him. Realizing Lancer wasn’t with them, he turned towards the door and was about to knock. Before he had Fang’s dagger had gone half way through the door splintering the door on impact. “Don’t even think about it,” Reaper warned with a growl to her voice, “Do not come in here vampire.” When she was certain the vampire was gone, Reaper looked back towards Fang worried for the assassin, “Fang I’m going to move your mask just a little.” She warned the yellow cloaked assassin. Lifting it a little she could see blood had soaked the bandage around their neck. “I should have killed the werewolf that had done this to you.” Looking to Fang she could tell the assassin wasn’t doing well, something was wrong. “I’ll be back, do not move.” Getting to her feet she retrieved Fang’s dagger from the door and headed out the door. Heading out of the room she had then gone to the bathroom in search of a medical kit. The only medical supplies she had would not help Fang. Gritting her teeth as she threw open empty cupboards and growled in frustration at seeing nothing of use in the house. When kicked out of the bedroom Shade glanced to the worn out werewolf near the door tuckered out and still panting. Blinky laughed at the werewolf until it had noticed him walk in. “Worn out are you? Looks like I won’t need to walk you for a few days,” Shade teased as he glanced around expecting to see Nights. When he didn’t he looked to Kelarth, “Where is Nights?” “Well…” Kelarth trailed off to nearly a whimper as he quickly got on all fours ready to bolt, “Well you see Thena appeared and I tried to stop her and save Nights but Reaper had stopped me...something about her taking the blue assassin. I’m sorry Shade..” His brown ears were down as he watched Shade’s anger become rage. “She did what? I’m going to kill her!” Shade growled and Kelarth shrank from him nearly tripping over Reaper’s scythe that was still on the ground as he punched the wall with all his might. Causing the a massive hole as he glared at Kelarth, “Where is Thena?” Hearing the ruckus in the living room, Reaper walked out and glared at Shade, “You won’t touch Thena until Lancer and Nights are saved. Unless you don’t want to see Nights again. Calm yourself so you can think before you do something stupid and rash. Now I must attend to Fang. Do not go into the bedroom, and believe me I will know if you have been in there.” Reaper then headed out the front door, leaving the fuming vampire behind. “Tell me we know where Lancer is,” She looked to Blinky with some hope but the shadow creature shook its head, “Can you locate Nights?” “Sorry nothing yet,” Blinky frowned looking to the front door where Reaper had gone, “Do you think Fang is okay?” “I’m sure she just needs rest,” Kelarth mumbled as he glanced from the front door and looked to Shade, “Thena shouldn’t be able to transport people, she’s never done it before. I don’t understand what has changed…” Walking across the grass, Reaper headed to the next door neighbor house and didn’t bother knocking. Startling the man in the living room who was watching television. They had gotten to their feet and seemed to have a cell phone in one hand. Reaper moved quickly, putting Fang’s dagger close to the man’s skin as her red eyes looked into their eyes. “Do anything stupid while I am here or gone, I will find you and toss your body parts all over the house that you won’t be identifiable for years to come. I only need one thing, and pray you have it,” Reaper slowly eased the dagger so the man could nod. Satisfied that the male wouldn’t do anything she moved away from them. “Where is your bathroom?” Reaper asked with a growl to her voice so the male knew she wasn’t done with him. The male had stuttled but told her it was up the stairs and that she couldn’t miss it. With a nod she glared at the male, “Sit on the couch and pretend I wasn’t here.” Heading up the stairs she saw the bathroom just as they had said easy to find. Walking in Reaper started looking for anything that would help Fang. Spilling contents all over the floor and counter in doing so. Growling when she couldn’t find what she was looking for and had torn the bathroom apart in looking. Reaper headed back down stairs and looked to the male on the couch. They had flinched at seeing her but had remained seated. “You don’t have a medical kit? I thought everyone had one,” Reaper snarled causing the male to flinch again. “C-chek t-the k-kitchen,” the male stammered as he watched the red cloaked assassin, “There is medicine in one cabinet take it all. Under the sink is what you may be wanting..” “You should have said that sooner,” Reaper glared at him in frustration as she headed into the kitchen. Looking through the cabinets she had found the medicine he had mentioned. Taking a bag that was on the door to a closet, she started to fill it only taking things that were vital and leaving the cold medicine behind. When done she then looked under the sink and found the red box with a white cross on it. Taking it and the bag she headed back towards the door. “Tell anyone about me and I will know, you wish to live then pretend I was never here,” Reaper then headed out of the house and walked back towards the corner house. Opening the door she looked to a miserable Shade and Kelarth that looked worn out and tired still. Red eyes then fell to Blinky who was staring at her with wide yellow eyes as if confused. “You come with me, as for you werewolf be careful with my scythe,” Reaper then headed towards the bedroom with Blinky at her heels. Closing the door to the bedroom Reaper looked to Fang who hadn’t moved nor did the assassin bother to move the mask she wore back into place. Red eyes narrowed as she moved back to Fang’s side and nudged them gently to let the assassin know she had returned. The assassin’s eyes looked to her as she sat down next to the bed. “You needed me?” Blinky whispered unsure what it could do as it slowly walked towards the bed and looked to Fang, “Is she okay?” “I can only do so much from here, our headquarters can do a lot more good than what I have. But I won’t go back without Lancer,” Reaper mumbled pulling out the medical kit and unwrapping the bandages around Fang’s neck. Reaper seethed through her teeth as she looked at the wound. Some of the stitches had started to come out. When she had made the noise Blinky had flinched and climbed onto her shoulder. “What-” Blinky looked to Fang almost frozen to the spot as it almost fell off the assassin’s shoulder. “She’s also running a fever on top of this,” Reaper whispered quietly looking to Blinky, “KNow of anyone who can help her?” Thinking on the best of the two options it could think of, Blinky gave a small nod and a weak smile, “I know one person who is the best, and she’ll be happy to come back I’m sure.” Sending a message to S.C. that Hala would be needed. It also gave details to S.C. so that the shadow creature could give the information to Hala. Hoping that Hala may have supplies there at Moon Pass that may help the yellow assassin.

“Cloaks?” Syn looked at him confused, “I don't know anyone that uses cloaks, as far as I know, but yeah, the ones that were resting in the room were three of my friends, Balgrim, Kasius and Quintus”. Slightly embarrassed that was their first meeting even though words were not exchanged, but meeting a sober Balgrim would be a lot better first meeting. ‘ if they do meet again I hope he’s sober’ he mentally sighed. Nights stopped charging at the cell door for a moment growling at her, “it could be some rocks or something since your portal was a sloppy job” she spat at the woman angrily. There was no way something else came in with her, she had told the shadow to run and tell shade and Reaper and Kelarth were visible when she was taken. Taking a step back she felt something against her back paw that wasn't a rock, it felt living, ‘ oh no’ he ears went back hoping that it wasn't the shadow. “What do you intend to do with me? Just keep me here? Shade already knows what your up to! You won't have your way!” she changed the subject and challenged her hoping that she would take the bait and focused on her. Rin tilted his head, explained the second vampire smell and he remembered the vampire from before, he was at the big fight, though he looked alot better than what he previously looked like. Now it seemed like something from Storms past was going to be revealed to him, about his pack. His ears went back in worry when Storm had put him down and taken the vampire's hand, looking in between them he wondered what was going on. When the two broke apart he ran to Storms side worried about him. “Storm?” he looked at the werewolf worriedly and pawed at his hand seeing his claws out. They were happy just a moment ago, what had he seen to make him this way? “The contents of the crates are the bows, arrows and quivers, but I’ll let their creator tell you what's exactly inside’ Vega said looking to the redhead who seemed to be beaming with pride, “Atlas” he stepped aside so the other male could be seen. Atlas bowed to the werewolf, “hello sir, what you have in the crates are what Vega said they are, bows, quivers and arrows. You actually have a variety of things though, you have bows with both wooden and metal frames, both able to withstand a lot of weight and pressure and they all come with extra bowstring. The arrows on the other hand have three variants” he began to grin. “You have your generic arrows, nothing special about them, the arrows with the white feathers are one time use, once you shoot them and they hit their target they break upon impact so they can't be used against you by your enemy. The ones silver in color are metal and hollow, the arrow heads on them are designed with small holes and you can unscrew the back so you could add poison, gunpowder or whatever else you can think about putting in it, adding extra damage to your foe” “You can also send messages that way!” the girl standing beside Vega added. Atlas laughed, “what my daughter said is true, they could also be a way to send a quick message” In the back Vega looked at him curious and looked at the array of arrows atlas had shot at him earlier noticing one of them was indeed a metal one. He pulled it out of the wall and unscrewed the back of it and saw a rolled up slip of paper fall out. Curious her read its content and looked t Atlas with a glare, “really?” Hala looked over his shoulder to see the message and laughed, the girl giggling with her. The paper read “You suck” Atlas tried to keep a straight face knowing what Vega saw, “I have no problem supplying more if need be” Vega grumbled and placed the sword he had made for Fay in a box and placed it beside S.C. “you can send this one next while I box up the others, Fay” he looked back at the Alpha, “this is made from a meatal I'm pretty sure you don't have over there, its forged from a piece of meteorite” he smiled, pretty proud of himself. “I only say the dog park is dangerous is because these guys could be mistaken for squeaky toys, i mean Wrath squeaks and everything” Raider took one of Wrath's paws and pinched it, making the plush squeak. “Granted only Wrath could squeak, but still” Wrath pulled its paw away and tucked its paws under it, “we were careful, plus we never even went to the pen, there's always people hanging around watching the “cute dogs” or whatever” “No more dog parks” raider glanced at with warning it. “Fine…” it sighed.

“It might be fun to see who your friends are,” Ishimu smiled a little as he looked towards a house off in the distance. It had seemed to be coming up quick, as he soon made a left towards it, “What are they like? Are they like you or?” Unsure if they were as laid back as Syn was, or if they were more adventurous, thrill seekers as his mom had called them. Heading up the steps he looked over his shoulder, “This shouldn’t take long…”
Slowly he had opened the door half expected to see a horrible sight still on the floor from the last time he had been here. But the floor was as if nothing had happened, no blood puddle stain or any sign of what had transpired. “What the hell?...” Unsure if he had imagined it all he decided to avoid the one spot as it gave him chills, and worked his way towards the bedroom. Keeping the bag tightly in his hand as he poked his head in to be sure no one was around. When he was certain his house was safe he started to fill the duffle bag up with his clothes.
Looking down at himself he cringed, unsure how Syn had put up with how he had looked. ‘Looks like I had fought a lawnmower and lost…’ sitting on the floor he took off his shoes, pulled off his pants and quickly put on a fresh pair before working on his shirt.
“Keeping you here is my plan, after all, there is no getting out. The floor and ceiling are cement, and I had made sure the bars other than the door are cemented in. The door is enforced around the hinges so ramming it won’t harm it at all. Any attempt at a portal well…” Thena smiled and tried to open a portal as quickly as it had formed it was gone, “They won’t appear long enough for anything to get through with that speed. And knowing Shade he won’t do anything to me. Even if he wanted to the red-cloaked one won’t allow it.” She smiled to the fuming werewolf in her cell watching them snarl at her, “I’m sure Shade would do anything to get you free.”
The shadow creature almost jumped when Nights nearly stepped on it. Yellow eyes looked to the paw and was tempted to poke it so Nights knew it was behind her. The sound of Thena had kept it still as it looked around the enclosure. ‘Not good,’ realizing it was trapped it closed its yellow eyes and covered its face in its hands, ‘Nights will kill me…’
“I shall not keep you entertained too much longer, I have someone to find. Stay here and be a good wolf,” she teased before taking a good few steps back from the cell. When she was far enough Thena then opened a portal and disappeared through it.
When it was quiet for sometime the shadow creature slowly moved, poking its head out to see past the bars. Crossing its arms realizing that Thena was gone it started to explore the cell before remembering Nights. Shivering it glanced back over its shoulder expecting to see an angry Nights behind it.
Putting a hand on Rin’s head, Storm looked to the plush. “Sorry,” forcing himself to sit up he looked to Toshi, “I will need time…”
“Of course, nothing is easy,” Toshi replied looking to Rin, “Some good food and rest and he’ll start to feel better.”
“Shall we head…” Storm trailed off he was going to say home but there was no place like that for him, “Let’s head out and go from there…”
“You know how to find us,” Toshi replied with a small smile as he got to his feet. Putting the glove back on he extended his hand to Storm, “You saved me from Thena, thank you.”
“Don’t thank me vampire, I haven’t decided yet,” Storm took the help nonetheless, getting to his feet he had taken Rin into his arms. Making his way towards the front door, he could hear Toshi trailing behind him.
“Only making sure Shade won’t kill you and take his anger out on the wrong person,” Toshi replied pointing to the hole in the wall, “My guess he did that while you and I were mind gazing. At least that’s what I call the gift…”
“What could cause him to do that?” Storm looked to Shade who was busy leaning against the wall with their eyes closed. He was certain that he had never made Shade that angry before.
“Thena has Nights,” Toshi whispered hoping Shade wouldn’t over hear, “So he isn’t too happy.”
“I could imagine not,” Storm shrugged and headed out the front door. Putting a hand on Rin’s head as he walked down the walkway, ‘Where to go from here…’
Closing the door Toshi looked to the vampire glaring at him, “Yes?”
“How did the memory thing go?” Crossing his arms he was still in a foul mood, with no Thena to direct the anger towards. “Did you have to tell him our situation?”
“Why not, he could help and it might be a good push to get him after the one who he really should be targeting,” Toshi shrugged forcing himself to look somewhere else other than seeing the look of anger in Shade’s eyes, “Where is Blinky?”
“In the bedroom with Reaper, chances are getting smacked around a little,” Shade grumbled glaring now at the closed window as if he could see Storm just outside.
“I forget how moody you are without Nights,” Toshi laughed a little as he moved into the living room, “Shall we at least try and figure out where Thena may hit? Or where she may be keeping Lancer and Nights?”
“The arrows, bows, and the extra string will greatly help, thank you Atlas,” looking to the boxes that had arrived. Guessing they were more arrows, or possibly even string and bows from what Atlas had made them, ‘This is more than we had expected…’ Fay frowned wishing they could have done more for the wolf pack.
A knock at the door distracted him causing him to look towards it, “Yes?” The blacksmiths entered the room with what Fay had requested of them. “Good you two arrived just in time.” Fay looked to the shadow creature with a big grin, “Please S.C. send me Vega’s gift and what we have for Moon Pass. Koray and Samara are our best blacksmiths, and I’m pleased with their work.”
“Thank you alpha,” they both said as they moved to the window to see the other wolf pack.
“Of course Fay!” S.C. happily complied with the request sending the boxes that had Vega’s gift to Fay in it. When the trade was successful, it moved the portal to a better location to where the items from Fay wouldn’t be harmed in the transfer.
The two armour sets were black with gold trim, on the breastplates of both the armour was a golden wolf with a crescent moon behind their heads. Both were a complete set with matching helmets, armoured gloves and boots. The helmets had what looked to be horns from the head on view. At a closer look from the side, you can see that they are wolf ears laid back as the wolf head was about to attack in a snarl. The top canines protruded from the helmet along with the snout a little and faded down to where the actual face would be, though there was no bottom jaw to the helmets. The wolf on both helmets was also gold against the black.
“We weren’t sure if they would be used in battle or not. But they will withstand a pretty good impact leaving a minor dent. Fay’s as you can see has some dents from years of battle and most were pretty big impacts with only minor dents. He refuses to get the dents out…” the shaggy blond male rolled his eyes as he glanced towards Fay with a small smile before looking back towards Vega and Hala. “We hope they will come in handy, even if not used.”
“We hope you enjoy them,” replied the woman next to the shaggy blond, her silver-white hair was in a ponytail.
While the two explained the armour to Vega, the alpha had looked to the boxes that S.C. had sent with Vega’s gift. Pulling it out of the box and unsheathing it he looked to the blade curiously. Never had he seen a blade like it, or heard of the material used. He moved to the window bowed his head in gratitude to Vega for the gift. “Thank you, Vega and Hala. I don’t wish to be rude, but what exactly is a meteorite?”
“Our world is bland,” S.C. giggled and decided to let Vega explain what it was. Its ears twitched and S.C. frowned as it had gotten some news from Blinky. “I’ll let you two chat…”
Darting off the box it hurried towards Hala and tugged their pant leg to get the healers attention. “You are needed,” it looked up at her sadly before starting to sign. Blinky the other shadow creature needs you to help with one of the assassins. I believe you have helped them before according to Blinky. It is the one with the injured neck, they have a fever, the stitches look like they may be pulling away from the wound, and something about it looking a little swollen near the cut. Blinky says it's not white just red and puffy. The assassin there with Blinky is trying to do what they can, but can’t do much with the materials they have. Also Blinky says bring all that you think may help. Seems it will be sometime before they can go back home.
“Why didn’t you rest or hide low, Lancer would have understood considering your condition Fang,” Reaper frowned watching the assassin sign something as they tried to reply.
“She was hoping to find help quickly and be at headquarters to rest,” Blinky translated for the assassin as it looked to the red-cloaked assassin.
“Lancer should have known she was to take it easy if Fang gets worse…” Reaper trailed off as Fang did shakey hand signs, they almost looked too sloppy for Blinky to translate.
“Fang says not to blame Lancer, but to blame her as she knew she was to take it easy. But some missions are worth the risk,” Blinky frowned unsure it had translated it right and looked back to the yellow assassin as its ears lowered sadly, “Do you all put your health second for the sake of a mission?”
“It’s code, we have to. Unless we can’t move we must finish the mission,” Reaper shrugged as if it was just part of life, watching Fang sadly. “Fang would put herself on the line if it meant saving us, you could say us three are more like family than the organization is to us.” Seeing Fang shiver Reaper pulled the blanket over the assassin in hopes it would help a little until the healer arrived. Taking the medical kit she started to work on bandaging the wound back up and making sure it would apply pressure but not be too tight to where Fang couldn’t breathe. ‘I hope the healer gets here soon…’ Looking to the shadow creature, her eyes narrowed, “Will the healer come?”
“Ummm...I think so…” it squeaked, “She was held up with something but knows what is going on here..”
Fang gripped Reaper’s hand weakly, not wanting the assassin to be angry with her or Lancer over the situation. She looked towards Reaper watching them through the corner of her eye as they worked on what they could. Wishing she could speak to the assassin instead of having to rely on the shadow creature to do it for her.
“Oh, that's what you meant,” Zane laughed a little when Raider had squeaked the plush’s foot. ‘At least it’s only dangerous to the plush,’ Looking to Wrath as he tried to picture the plush taking on a dog with its sharp teeth biting. ‘Dog versus Wrath...think Wrath may win if it got a hold of the dog…’
“Why would they go to a place that dangerous for them?” Looking to an alleyway he thought he had seen something. Hoping it was nothing he stayed close to Raider’s side.

“Like me?” Syn questioned. He wasn't sure what he meant by that, he felt like comparing himself to the others wasn't a fair comparison.
“I’m not sure what you mean by that but they're a cool group to be around, with a dash of spunky and a teeny bit of chaos, provided by arcana and if Balgrim is picking any fights” he laughed nervously mentioning the man.
As they entered the home Syn stayed by the front door, it kept him from standing awkwardly in a room somewhere as Ishimu changed and got more clothes. He saw Ishimu seem unsettled about a particular spot on the floor, he was thinking if he should ask about it when he was done.
Nights snarled at the woman that ended in a whimper when she disappeared from sight. Turning her attention she knew it was already in trouble.
“I thought I said to run” he sighed, her fur that was standing on end began to relax back against her body, “did you even get the message out about Thena?”
She began to pace the perimeter of the cage, looking for any gaps or clue as to where she was, but she hadn't been in the Shadow Realm in quite some time, making a lot of things foreign to her.
Attempting to call Thena’s bluff she tried opening a portal but saw it close in seconds. She let out an aggravated sigh and lay on her stomach, her front paws covering her muzzle, “got any ideas? Or what to do next?” she looked to the shadow.
Rin felt like he missed something important between the two, but what was important right now was Storm. “Food and rest, got it” he looked at Toshi determined to make Storm feel better.
When they were walking out of the house Rin looked up at the werewolf, his tail swayed lazily, “wanna talk about it? Maru always said you feel better after talking about something that's bothering you” he spoke without realizing and now he was surprised at his own words, “I Remember Maru…” he whispered like it was a secret.
Vega, Atlas, and Hala were in awe seeing the armor, “their beautiful” Vega spoke still in shock.
“If you wore that maybe you can give Dan the night off and patrol in his place” Hala laughed.
“Are we sure Dan wouldn't want to just wear it himself?” Atlas commented looking over the armor trying to imagine the black wolf wearing it.
“He’s too prideful of a wolf to wear armor, plus when was the last time any of us saw him in human form?” Vega looked from inspecting the armor to Hala and atlas, both looking like they didn't know.
Leaving the two with that question on their mind, Hala looking like she was conjuring a plan, he turned back to fay and bowed his head, “this is truly a work of fine smithing, I’ll treasure this gift” he grinned. “As for the meteorite,’ he laughed at S.C.s comment, “it’s a space rock, something that fell from the sky. It has all the components as normal ore that we find in the ground but it’s a little tougher to work with, but the final result is a beautiful work of art and strong as any sword”
Atlas rolled his eyes in the back as vega went on about the sword.
Hala knelt down to S.C. as they signed, she looked worried, “ I’ll be right back” she quickly signed before running back to her home. Returning shortly with what looked like a homemade duffle bag filled with items ‘I may need to restock after this[/i]’
Before turning to s.C. she tapped vega on the shoulder and held out her hand to him signing “ring”. The blacksmith nodded and handed her the gold and silver ring to her from his pocket. Once in her possession she smiled, “I’ll be back”
Vega nodded and smiled a little, “take care, and come back in one piece”
Hala turned to s.C. and showed off the ring, “ready?”
“I’m guessing they go there because it’s easy for them?” Raider looked to Wrath, unsure himself.
“It’s easy pickings if someone's just staring at a dog and not their surroundings, especially if something looks like a toy” the plush giggled.
“Of course” Raider sighed. He looked back to Zane seeing he was a little closer, “is something the matter? Do you want to head back?”

Putting on a new shirt and finishing putting his clothes into the bag, Ishimu walked towards the door. Seeing Syn standing in the doorway he turned his head to the side confused. “Did I forget to invite you in?” Unsure if that was a real thing or not for vampires he walked onto the porch and closed the door behind him.
“Sounds like it might be fun,” giving Syn a fanged grin then headed down the steps with the duffle bag in his hand. “Do they know…” He trailed off as he stopped at the last step waiting for Syn.
The shadow creature blinked and turned its head to the side watching Nights. Unsure of what she was saying, its ears lowered as it shrank away slightly easy if Nights was super angry with it. Looking to the bars it wasn’t sure if it could squeeze out through them. Frowning at a possibility and unsure what to do, the shadow creature contemplated.
Raising an eyebrow Storm looked to the plush and held Rin to eye level as if examining it. “Are you sure you don’t have your memory back?” Blue eyes watched Rin closely wondering if the plush remembered anything else. Shaking his head knowing what was on his mind wouldn’t help them out now.
“The vampire showed me what Thena had done, but to trust them…” he shook his head again as he held Rin in his arms, “Vampires are deceivers.”
Looking up and down the street he slowly started to head away from the house. ‘At least there is a gentle breeze,’ Storm frowned and looked to Rin unsure how helpful it could be since it was made to find vampires. “Look Rin…” Storm trailed off as he glanced to the stars, ‘Maybe sleeping outside won’t be so bad…’ He was a good two blocks and a half away from where Shade was when he looked around for a shed or place to sleep for the night.
“We are both going?” Turning its head to the side confused as it hadn’t fully transferred the rest of what Vega had made for the pack.
Glancing to the window it doubted it would remain open while gone. Opening a portal it summoned another shadow creature and did a run down on its task while away. Looking to Vega apologetically, “Just sign to it, they don’t know words like me so they’ll give you a blank stare.”
Opening a new portal for them it smiled to Hala, “Ready.” It glanced back towards Fay sadly as it bowed its head, “I’m sorry to be leaving but seems I’m needed with Shade. I hope the shadow creature here will suffice..”
“Go I know how busy you little guys are,” Fay replied as the shadow creature climbed onto the box S.C. was on moments ago. It then started to finish what S.C. had worked on. “I am glad the armor is to your liking, I wasn’t sure what color your pack bore.”
Koray and Samara looked to the many boxes near the table with curiosity. “You may check them out, they are for the pack,” Fay replied trying to stifle a laugh watching the two, ‘You’d think they were pups handling new toys…’ Watching the two as they opened two of the boxes from Atlas, Koray inspected the bows and Samara wagged her tail as she looked over the many arrows.
Jumping at the sight of the portal, Blinky crouched and readied for anything that may come. Its ears twitched and Blinky looked to Reaper, “Hala is coming.” It gave a small smile, “She knows what she’s doing, she won’t harm Fang.”
“She better-” Reaper’s red eyes narrowed at a sound only she could hear. Looking to Fang’s wide eyes she knew the assassin had heard it as well. Placing a hand on Fang’s shoulder she whispered into their ear, “Trust me.” She slipped off Fang’s mask and covered Fang with a blanket before she could protest against it. Tossing the mask to Blinky, “Have the healer wear that and a white robe. If anyone knocks on the front door have the healer answer it. Make it sound like she has to hurry back to her patient so they don't linger long. I don’t have a lot of time to explain, there are other assassins in the area. They make Fang, Lancer and I look like kittens compared to them. They kill any demon they run into on or off the list it won’t matter. If she is discovered to be a fake…” She trailed off as she looked to the wide eyed shadow creature, “Pray she can pull it off. As for Fang keep her safe.” A shaking hand reached for her robe, but Reaper pulled it back before Fang could grasp it and hold on.
Its ears twitched as S.C. looked to Hala blocking the healer from leaving just yet, “Blinky wants to know if you have a white robe, and if you do to bring it. Sorry it was kind of last minute...then we go after that.”
Blinky turned its head to the side as it’s ears twitched relaying the message to S.C. and then frowned, “I don’t understand..”
“I’m sorry Fang,” handing back Fang’s dagger into the assassin’s extended hand, but the dagger slipped through their fingers hitting the floor. Reaper’s eyes narrowed as she looked to the covered assassin.
“You can’t,” Fang choked as Reaper left the room, shaking she closed her eyes.
“Fang?” Blinky slowly walked towards the assassin with the mask, eyeing it as it was tempted to put it on the floor as if it was disturbing to hold.
Walking down the hall Reaper glared at Toshi and Shade, “Do not leave the house under any circumstances. Only the healer is to answer the door, understood?”
Shade looked like he was going to protest but nodded slowly when Reaper glared at him, Toshi gave a shrug. “If you don’t want to die then stay hidden and heed my warning,” taking her blade up off the floor she headed out the front door and closed it behind her. Looking to the sky of the red marked lion, her red eyes narrowed at the assassin’s call. ‘Dang it all why them…’
Shaking his head he glanced the way they had came, “No sorry...I just thought I saw something. I’m sure it’s nothing…” He looked back ahead though he kept finding himself looking to the shadows around them before freezing at an alley, the smell of blood wasn’t what had caught his attention. There standing over someone was Lenore, the dark brown haired vampire looked to him as she wiped her mouth on her arm. Zane shivered as he took a side step and felt Raider close by.
“I’m surprised to see you here, Zane. It’s been a while hasn’t it?” Lenore purred ignoring Raider as she walked towards the young vampire. “Don’t tell me you have forgotten me.”
“No, I haven’t forgotten you,” Zane whispered wishing he could have forgotten her, “Didn’t know these were your hunting grounds.”
“I hunt where I please, I don’t mark territory though I’m still shocked to see you here,” she shrugged as she glanced around for a possible second victim, “Easy pickings are these ones, not much fight when they are this young.”
“So find older ones,” Zane snarled as he crossed his arms, feeling a tad bit braver, “Why are you here? It can’t just be because you’re hungry.”
“No not entirely,” her red eyes watched Zane closely, “I am here to claim what is mine.” She glared at Raider, “Hand him over.”

“It would have felt awkward if I followed you in and you had to change” Syn rubbed the back of his head. Following ishimu close behind he looked off to the side, “they don't know yet, unless Holly told them, which is a possibility, or even Vivian opening her loud mouth” he grumbled mentioning the spoiled Siren. “If they don't know, I plan on telling them. I’ll probably get scolded by Kasius, in private. Since he’s a vampire too” he laughed nervously. Shaking his head at the thought he looked back at Ishimu and smiled, “alright, how far away is mommy dearest from here?” he was surprised he hasn't heard the famous ring tone yet, the one he head heard when his mother had called before, maybe they were texting? Speaking of, he took out his phone and posted in the chat. "Might be dropping by with a friend. MIGHT" Seeing the chat bubble pop up made him uneasy, ' maybe i should have waited....' Nights sighed once more and shifted back into her human form, sitting in the floor. She looked to the shadow and motioned it to come close to her, “ I’m sorry I got angry, she got under my skin, and I didn’t want you involved” she frowned, upset that she scared the shadow away from her, and that she was stuck in this crappy situation. She didn’t know what to do with herself right now. “ Does this place look familiar to you? I know you guys are all over the place” Rin frowned, “I mean they could have attacked you right then, there were two of them in the house, not that I would let them happen” he grinned. He looked off into the distance and smiled slightly “I remember her” Rin said certainly. “We lived in a very snowy place but we ventured down the mountain and ran into you and Eclipse, I think you two were injured and it was like a forest area?” he tilted his head like he asked himself the question. “I miss her voice…” he half whimpered. Hearing storm call his name snapped his out of his thoughts and looked back at the werewolf, “yes?” his head tilted to the side wondering what he was going to say. “ Thanks for the help” Vega signed to the new shadow, “the colors are fine, I assure you, their reminiscence of our protector who likes to keep to himself,” he laughed lightly, “black and gold are his colors”. Looking at the two in the background he smiled, “I take it they like what they see so far?” Atlas put a hand on Vega's shoulder, “I’ll be heading back, I left Forrest with Solaris and I’m supposed to be watching him” Vega nodded and tapped his hand, “thanks for all the help” Atlas nodded and looked back to the windowed portal and bowed before leaving with the small girl who helped him carry things in. Hala tilted her head, “ I don't have a robe, but will a smock suffice?” she dug through her bag and pulled out a sealed package that had a white mesh like material, similar looking to what surgeons wore when performing operations, “ is a robe really needed? I want to get to Fang as soon as possible before she gets worse” her ears tilted back, what did this have to do with helping Fang? Raider looked at Zane concerned until he saw the woman. Wrath few onto Zane's head and flashed her a wide toothy grin, “long time no see” Raider stood close to Zane and put an arm out in front of the boy, “I'm not handing over anyone” light blue eyes glaring at her, “especially to the likes of you” “You’ll have to get through us, and I'm sure backup is coming” Wrath giggled, its devil tail swaying behind it excitedly.

Cringing at Syn he looked around, “Not far…” Putting his free hand into his pocket, Ishimu used his tongue to play with his fangs as he lead the way towards his mom’s house. “Why wouldn’t you tell them?” Pondering on it he wondered if he shouldn’t have asked as two good reasons came to mind on why Syn wouldn’t tell his friends. One he didn’t want to be treated differently, and two he didn’t want to be reminded of what he was.
Looking to the sky he smiled a little, ‘If it wasn’t for those weird creature things I wonder what would have happened…’ Ishimu frowned at the thought of being turned by Lenore and shuttered at the thought. The soft breeze felt good as it blew through his red hair, helping calm his nerves. “Hey Syn?” He looked over to the young male next to him, “Thank you.”
Knowing this had to be new to Syn for they had never turned someone before. Putting Syn through hell by running off, getting captured by a psycho, nearly killing someone it hadn’t been easy for Syn. At any point, Syn could have taken off leaving him to figure the vampire thing out on his own. Realizing he was staring off into space while looking at Syn he quickly looked to the other side of the street.
Feeling like he had made it awkward Ishimu bit his lip as he glanced down the road. “We are nearly there,” he whispered nearly holding his breath as he walked up the walkway to a light blue house with white trim. There was a small garden near the steps that lead up to the porch. Trying to control his nerves he stopped at the door hesitating as he really wasn’t sure he wanted to knock. ‘Come on scaredy cat, knock,’ mocking Syn’s voice in his head. In truth he was nervous and tempted to fake his death, it would be easier, but life wasn’t easy.
The life of a vampire isn’t easy, letting out a slow breath he knocked on the door. He didn’t have to wait long as the door flew open and a woman rushed out in genes, and a yellow sweater that said worlds best mom. The woman hugged Ishimu in a tight hug, causing Ishimu to glare at Syn as if daring them to say anything. Wishing he had held his breath longer, he hugged his mom back.
“Um mom, really in front of company?” Ishimu groaned as he rolled his eyes. Though he was sure Syn would be gloating this over him for the rest of his life. ‘Dang it should have faked my death and be over with it..’ When his mom finally let him go he then looked to Syn, “Syn this is my mom..”
“Oh please, only you call me mom. Pleased to meet you Syn, I’m Cindy. Please come in,” she ignored Ishimu’s eye daggers and opened the door to allow them inside.
‘Now I really wish I had died…’ stifling a groan he placed the duffle bag by the door and headed into the living room. “Sorry we had eaten on the way here, maybe next time Syn can try your famous cooking,” sitting on the couch he looked to Syn unsure of where they would be sitting.
The living room had young pictures of him on the walls from when he was five, and a coffee table sat between two armchairs and a couch that faced the television. There were a few drawings on the wall that were framed, Ishimu had begged his mom to take them down but she had insisted it added flare to the room.
“Really? Not even a snack or something to drink Ishie?” Cindy frowned, a little disappointed that they weren’t hungry.
At the mention of his nickname, Ishimu slumped into the couch. ‘This is hell, I’m truly in hell…’ the thought of it being torture made him wonder if Syn really wanted to come or force the torture on him for all the trouble he had caused.
Slowly and cautiously the shadow creature walked to Nights, stopping in front of her. Shaking its head it turned its head to the side. I’m not sure where we are or if it's even home.. The ears on its head twitched as it shook its head, No shadow creatures around to communicate with, very odd place…
Sorry for following you, I thought I could tell Shade where you were. But if this is a trap that would be a bad idea, looking to the ground and feeling useless it crossed its arms and looked around the cell. The outside light gave no hint as to if it was earth or the red sun that was outside the walls.
Stopping in the yard he blinked at the plush almost trembling. Forcing himself to kneel down as to not drop Rin, he held the plush close to him. Hoping he was wrong, hoping there was some mistake that he wasn’t what he thought Rin was. “Rin do you remember a young Maru? A time of snow always falling like the world is frozen in time...a time where it was just you and Maru before you met me.” Storm cradled the plush in his arms as he closed his eyes, “When Eclipse and I were hurt in the forest, what did you do?”
The shadow creature gave a sharp-toothed grin to Vega as it started to move the daggers, and swords next. Putting them onto Fay’s table to be displayed, though it seemed Koray and Samara hadn’t noticed as they appeared one by one.
“When it comes to weapons they act like pups with-” Fay frowned as Koray put an arrow to the bow testing the bow’s drawback, “Hey not here in Koray!”
“Can we test them?” Koray asked with a small smile as if he’d been caught but didn’t wish to admit it.
“Please may we alpha?” Samara’s tail wagged excitedly as she held two new arrows in her hand that she had been inspecting.
“Test them, but give some for the patrols to use as well,” Fay shook his head and looked back towards Vega with a small shrug, “Do you have wolves who act like those two?”
Koray and Samara nodded as they worked on moving the boxes to the blacksmith. It had taken them several trips in getting the bows, string, and arrows. Once they had everything Fay hadn’t seen them since. “So much for seeing your swords, think they’d have more fun whacking things.”
“No Blinky said something that the assassins wear, but it might be able to find something that will work,” frowning it wondered what was going on on the other side of the portal. Moving so Hala could enter S.C. looked to Vega, “If you see Dan...tell him I didn’t mean to be a such a nuisance…” Its ears lowered wondering if the wolf still hated it, shaking its head it’s yellow eyes looked into the portal. ‘I’m going to bite Shade..’ S.C. thought crossing its arms, though it couldn’t complain too much it had got to meet Nights’ mom and learn a little of Moon Pass.
Getting the message from S.C. the shadow creature frowned and started to frantically look for something Hala could wear. Still confused about what was going on, it wished Nights was around. Ears lowered as it thought of Nights captured by Thena it growled and attacked the closest bed sheet. Tearing it with teeth and claws. The sound had disturbed Fang causing the assassin to sit up and pull the bedding off of their face. Blinky squeaked and dropped the bedding out of its mouth as it then kicked it, “Sorry…” It then went back to digging around for something that would work.
Rolling her eyes she walked to the shadow creature and poked its head. Pointing to the top shelf she lifted it up so Blinky could reach it. When it grabbed the white bed sheet, Fang put Blinky down and draped the sheet over herself. Motioning for Blinky to cut the access off to where it would be passable as a healer assassin’s robes.
“Thanks but should you really be up?” Blinky asked as it finished using its claws to cut around the assassin making it even with the yellow cloak they wore.
Falling to her knees, Fang shivered and glanced to the closed curtain. I’ll be okay, I’m sorry we put you all in danger, Closing her eyes she collapsed onto the floor.
“Fang!” Blinky squeaked as it pulled at the white bed sheet, “I knew you should have gone back to bed!” Heaving and lots of pulling Blinky managed to get the assassin to the side of the bed. “Now to get you to rest on the bed….”
Thinking on the two people inside on which would be the best option it decided to go with Toshi. Opening the door Blinky poked its head out and looked around, “Toshi can you help me with something? Only you not Shade.” It hissed desperately as it watched Shade poke his head around the corner, “Sorry master, but I need someone who’s seen Fang before...I mean...Toshi get in here!”
“Alright chill,” Toshi grumbled as he walked towards the bedroom and looked down at Blinky at his feet when the shadow creature moved out of the way he walked in. He looked to the collapse Fang on the floor and frowned, “Is she okay?”
“Yes, no I don’t know just get her on the bed!” Blinky hissed trying to keep it’s voice down as it looked to Toshi, “Hala will be here soon to help…”
Nodding Toshi gently picked Fang up and put the assassin onto the bed and glanced towards Blinky as the shadow creature quickly climbed on the bed to cover the assassin’s face. “What’s going on Blinky? Where did Reaper go?”
“I don’t know...they both acted strangely…” Blinky glanced to Toshi as it sat near Fang’s head, “Before Fang passed out she said sorry they put us in danger...I’m not sure what she-” Blinky froze and looked to Toshi, “My barrier has been breached…”
“That’s not good, is it Thena?” Toshi frowned hoping it wasn’t the evil vampire on top of everything else going on.
“No...there is two of them, as far as I know, Thena is still working alone…” Blinky frowned and glanced towards Fang, “I just don’t understand what mess they could have caused us…”
“Then I will take him by force, Zane is mine. I created him not you,” Lenore growled at Raider as she watched the creepy plush land onto Zane’s head. The creepy plush was about the only thing stopping her from grabbing the young vampire and fleeing.
“I’m not going with you. Just give up and find a new vampire to be your lackie,” Zane growled though he had jumped when Wrath landed on his head. He was almost afraid to move in fear of it biting him. Looking to Raider, he hoped the necromancer wouldn’t get hurt or worse killed.
“You’re coming with me whether you like it or not!” Lenore hissed as she lunged at Raider, aiming a punch towards the necromancer’s face.
Heading to the roof where the signal hung over, Reaper skidded to a halt blade at the ready. Watching the green-cloaked assassin she noticed that they were alone. “Where are the other three?” Reaper growled tightening her grip on her blade.
“More like two, I kept one other with me. Though they blend in, I’m surprised you hadn’t noticed,” they sneered as they watched the black assassin dodge Reaper’s blade. “You’re becoming too soft, join my team Reaper before the head assassin becomes angry with yours.”
“I’d never join your team,” Reaper growled as she blocked the black cloaked assassin’s blade, “Why are you here?”
“You failed to report, the head assassin asks for you three to come back home,” they shrugged as they looked around them, “The two that are missing from your side, where are they?”
“Fang is injured and Lancer is trailing a lead on where we can find the vampire, she is far too busy to deal with small fry like yourself. As for Fang the injury isn’t great and will be battle ready soon,” Reaper lied in hopes to get the assassins to back off the mission they were working on. Pushing against the blow from the black cloaked assassin, causing them to stumble back, Reaper watched the assassin. “You already knew…”
“Knew what Reaper?” Their voice was smug as they watched Reaper’s eyes widen and then narrow at them as if contemplating something. Signalling the black assassin they looked to Reaper, “Time to see the head assassin. He calls if your good no harm will come to Fang.”
‘Have they been watching this whole time? Or ever since the message was sent out?’ She couldn’t be certain on how much they knew, or if it was a bluff. Glaring at the assassin as she jerked herself free of the black assassin’s hold, “I’ll go.” She glanced towards the way she had come before heading towards headquarters. ‘I hope I can buy you some time Fang…’

Syn tried to think of a good excuse why he wouldn't tell the others, “well it’s really none of their business” he managed to come up with, he didn't know how to say he didn't want his friends to think he was a total screw up. He was taken back hearing “thank you” from Ishimu, out of all the things he wasn't expecting that. He looked away a little embarrassed, “nothing to be thankful for” he mumbled, he felt his face turn warm to the touch. Happy that they were coming up to the house, ‘ it's cute?’ He nearly jumped when the woman came out of the house grabbing Ishimu with a hug, but Ishimu glaring at him made him choke back a laugh, pulling up the collar of his hoodie to hide his grin. “It’s a pleasure to meet you Cindy” Syn finally said after he regained his composure and followed them inside the house. He took a seat on the couch beside Ishimu and looked around the room, seeing the many pictures of Ishimu and what he guess what were his drawings. The room screamed proud mommy, well what he assumed that would be like. “I’m sorry, we had dinner with some friends of mine before we came here” he laughed lightly. Ishimu looked like he wanted to die while his mother only wants to be a good host, “they wouldn't let us leave without eating”. He hoped she would buy the lie. He felt his phone vibrate a couple of times as his friends finally responded, he peeked to look at some of the messages. "LochIf its Vivian stay home" "ArcanaA new friend?" "QuintusNow? Will you know when exactly?" "LochWe were thinking of heading to Moon Pass" "QuintusBut we can wait!" "KuthinWhy the hell are you coming so late?" Nights rubbed the shadows head, “ I'm sorry, and I understand now” she smiled to the shadow, “ did you manage to let anyone know what's going on? Or do you think it's not safe to do that right now?” She looked around the cell once more, the place was odd and no place she had ever been, or so she thought. Rin closed his eyes and tilted his head to the side, “I do remember, I was really young, but she was older than me. We lived in that snowy place together for a long time until we ran away…” he opened his eyes and looked at the streets ahead of them. “When we saw you and Eclipse I was scared, we never saw anyone like you two but Maru helped you out without question”. He smiled and looked up at Storm, “Storm?” his smile faded, looking worriedly at him, pawing at his face. Vega laughed watching the others playing with the bows and arrows, “I’m afraid I do, though I do get like that when I get my hands on new materials” he admitted running his hand through his short brown hair. “But isn't it a good thing that they are excited to work with new things? Gets them familiar with the item” Hearing S.C. mention Dan he looked at the shadow confused, “he's just a grumpy wolf that forgot how to relax, don't worry about him” he rubbed the shadow on the top of its head, “he also does that to make sure he doesn't get attached to anyone” he whispered to it, making sure if Dan was nearby he wouldn't overhear them. “ So we have to wait until a robe is found?” Hala frowned, the longer they waited for the longer Fang wasn't getting treated and possibly getting worse. Looking at the portal S.C. opened up, temped just to jump in, but waited, there must be a reason she needed this robe. She was getting impatient. Raider missed her punch by inches dodging to the side and fully standing in front of Zane. ‘ cant get scratched, don't get scratched, don't bleed’ he repeated to himself in his head. “He doesn't want to go back with the likes of you so he won't! The boy stays with me!” Wrath tapped Zane on the head, “Raiders telling me to tell you to run, I’m staying with you” it grumbled, “I really wanna bite her” it growled. ‘ hold out a little longer until the others get here…’ Raider thought to himself staring down the woman.

“I see,” Cindy shrugged and closed the door before joining them in the living room. Sitting in the armchair close to Ishimu she looked to her embarrassed son then to Syn. “How did you two meet?” “We met,” Ishimu tried to recall where they had decided on meeting, but he couldn’t remember. Sweating as he felt nervous he glanced to Syn who was on their phone doing something. The park didn’t seem like a good place to meet, and the mall was too crowded that his mom wouldn’t buy that story. The more he thought on it he wasn’t sure how to explain it any other way. “It was more of Syn running into me,” deciding to stretch the truth instead of telling the whole story, “The group that always causes me trouble had jumped me and dragged me into the alley. Pinning me to the wall, if it wasn’t for my phone going off and Syn just happening to walk by I don’t think he would have noticed.” He gave his mom a small smile, the truth was Syn had saved him and figured if his mom saw him as a hero she wouldn’t be to skeptic about his friend. “After Syn had saved me, we kind of just started hanging out ever since…” “I really wish you would take a different route home, you know I hate how they pick on you. Thank you Syn for helping him out,” she watched her son as they seemed to be staring off into space as they sat up on the couch, “I really hope you aren’t causing Syn trouble, and becoming a nuisance.” “Mom it’s not like that...He isn’t like the other past friends. Honest,” Ishimu glanced to his mom as he snapped out of his small daze, “I’m sure if I was, he would have said something.” “I am happy you have a real friend Ishie, one you can trust,” giving him a small smile she decided to change the subject, “How is your place coming along?” “It’s going…” he wasn’t sure how to explain it. The baron house with only one bed, he knew his mom had wanted to help but he didn’t plan to stay there long. “Just been busy with work is all to really get much done.” Climbing into Night’s lap the shadow creature gave a small nod. Knowing the other shadow creatures in the area, Blinky knows what is going on, it signed with a small smile as it pondered on the best for the job at hand. I know of some that can help, but they don’t understand us. They can be kind of eccentric but they are good…“Sorry I just hope I am wrong on something, come on let’s find a place to stay the night…” getting to his feet he looked to the backyards, seeing a good sized shed he headed towards it. “You seem to be remembering more, it’s a good thing. I’m sorry for the way I had acted before when you first started to remember. When you had mentioned Maru… At one point in time we were close.” Opening the door to the shed Storm headed in and closed it behind them. Heading to a clear corner he sat down and put Rin in his lap as he petted its head. Resting his head against the wall Storm closed his eyes, “Is it weird not being in your normal body?” “I suppose we all get that way over certain things, and no there is nothing wrong with it,” Fay gave a smile to Vega as he thought on what the two could be testing the arrows on, “The arrows won’t break easily I hope… They may test them against our metal that we have here…” “Oh okay,” it smiled a little to Vega and then realized Hala was still with them. S.C.’s ears lowered apologetic as it shifted on its feet, “Sorry Hala, Blinky says you can go through the portal, it says it has everything…” Signing to the shadow creature to be good for Vega and to stay clear of Dan S.C. then stepped into the portal and went through not wishing to keep the healer held up too much longer. “They should be here-” Blinky froze on the bed as yellow eyes came through the portal before the healer. Hissing at S.C. in rage, it waved its arms up and down angrily and trying to avoid hitting the assassin’s head. “Where is Hala!?” “Sorry we...I mean I didn’t know you had everything,” S.C. frowned as it stepped out of the portal and looked around the room, “Where are the other two assassins?” “Honestly, I have no idea…” Blinky frowned and crossed it’s arms as it looked towards Fang worried for the assassin. “We will have company soon and I need to tell Hala what is going on..” “When Hala comes, I need to head to the shadow realm,” S.C. winced and shrank back when Blinky glared at it, “I must...I will return.” “I need you here S.C. there is danger coming and you’re taking off?” S.C. growled and got low to the ground as if ready to pounce on Blinky, “Punish me when I return, I need to go.” “We will do our best to help too Blinky,” Toshi replied confused on the way Blinky was acting, “Just hurry back S.C.” Getting to his feet he moved away from the bed so the healer can get to work, he then looked towards the door. “Shade we may have company!” “Hey! Shade and you can’t open that door, Reaper seemed pretty...sure that we have Hala do it.” Blinky replied freaking out more over the situation. Shade poked his head in and looked to the two fighting shadow creatures and frowned. “Mind filling us all in what is going on you two?” Bringing out her dagger, Lenore slashed at the slippery necromancer that seemed to stay out of reach, yet seemed to be able to keep her from getting to Zane. Growling she then dropped low to the ground and did a sweep kick in hopes to knock them down. Red eyes glared at Raider as they remained in her way. When the plush tapped his head, Zane gave a small nod. Taking a few steps back before turning and running the way they had came. ‘ Dang it Lenore,’ he glanced behind them hoping that Raider would be okay. “Shouldn’t you be helping Raider? I don’t understand how the others can really do much…” Hearing the running of feet, Lenore looked past Raider and cursed under her breath. Slashing at Raider, in hopes he’d dodge it again like he had the others, she made to chase after them. ~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~ Exploring the castle had been boring and Remus seemed to have a lot of duties. Lancer had requested a room in hopes to rest, but she was far from wanting to sleep. Other than the certain missions the three had never been alone like this, split up to where they couldn’t communicate. It was agonizing to be away from Reaper and Fang. Golden eyes had searched for the shadow creature that was to see her, but they hadn’t arrived, and she had been bugging Remus to see if they had seen it. Sitting on the bed she looked to the door, hearing soft footsteps stop in the doorway, and Remus’ head peered in at her. “Anything?” Lancer asked trying to be patient with the vampire. “I’m sorry there is no sign yet of how to get you home. The shadow creatures can’t use a portal without being there, and the ones Blinky and S.C. use are often to remain on Earth forever watching. I am doing all I can,” Remus bowed his head as he then looked to her thoughtfully, “Perhaps...I can get your mind off it. Even if it’s for a little bit.” “How’s that?” Lancer asked having some doubt in the vampire’s skills as far as conversations went, and her mind hadn’t been able to stop thinking of the two she was forced to leave behind. “Come,” giving her a fanged smile Remus headed towards the stairs and walked to the main floor. When reaching the last step he turned sharply and headed along the side of the stairs. He didn’t need to look behind him to know Lancer had followed. Leading them into a room that was dimly lit, Remus turned and looked to Lancer, “A mind that can’t rest is a dangerous thing, when that happens I come here.” Remus moved away from the door to allow the assassin to enter. Slowly Lancer walked into the room unsure of what to really expect to find within. The room was dimly lit by torches along every other pillar, but the faint light reflected off the many weapons that hung on the wall the walls, there were a few tables along the wall but the middle of the room was empty. Looking back to Remus, she wasn’t sure why the vampire would show her this. Remus walked to the blades that hung on the wall closest to them, looking over his shoulder towards her, “When my mind doesn’t rest I sharpen, polish and practice. Then when I can’t move, I sleep.” He chuckled a little as he pulled a blade off the wall, choosing a curved sword blade. “You hide your emotions well, but even I know the signs of one who can’t sleep. So lets spar, not with your weapon… I don’t wish to be poisoned.” He looked to Lancer’s blank stare unsure if the assassin would take him up on his suggestion. “Are you saying you’re a worthy opponent?” Golden eyes looked to the weapons on the wall and examined which blade she would use. Each one was unique from blade to handle, some were short swords, others small throwing daggers, and many were from broad swords to katanas. “Against your skills unlikely,” Remus replied with a small smile, “Are you saying you’d rather be in the bedroom moping?” Golden eyes glared at him as she picked up a sword from the wrack of many blades. Knowing the vampire was right, it was either this or sit around doing nothing until the shadow creature came. “Very well, but you brought this on yourself.” A small smile formed on her lips from behind her mask as she moved out into the middle of the room. “This should go unsaid but no killing,” Remus wasn’t sure if Lancer had any restraint when fighting and it was too late to back out now. Watching Lancer twirl the blade with ease, the assassin truly seemed to become one as they felt the weight of the blade with each stroke in the air. Then their golden eyes fell onto him sending a chill down his spine as he moved just a few feet from her. Lancer struck first as their blades hit sparks flew upon the impact. Testing the vampire’s skill, footwork, and hand work. Dodging to the side she struck for Remus’ head causing the vampire to pivot and use their blade to block. Not giving Remus time to attack, as she struck for his legs, arms and head, each time Remus either dodged her or blocked her attacks. The speed in what Remus was able to see, dodge and attempt to counter was impressive. Not having much sparing practice with the other assassins other than her team, the sparring between them had became a deadly dance of blades. Impressed for a half vampire to have such movement and speed, Remus jumped back then lunged at the assassin putting them on the defensive. The assassin blocked, pivoted for a strike at the vampire, when Remus blocked it he pushed the assassin back almost making Lancer lose balance. Striking at their arm, Lancer held up the blade, blocking and then slashing down at him. The way the assassin could adapt and strike after defending was amazing calculation. Both determined and neither one wanting to give up. Lancer struck at Remus twirling her blade to where it flung Remus’ blade from their grip. The blade clanged on the floor as it skidded, Lancer’s blade pointed to Remus’ neck as the assassin turned her head to the side watching Remus. “Yield,” Remus panted as he put his arms up in surrender. Watching Lancer as they held the hilt out towards him, slowly taking it from the assassin. “I’m impressed, I didn’t think you would last very long,” Lancer smiled behind her mask as she then retrieved Remus’ blade that had flew a good few feet from them. Picking it up she examined the blade and frowned, the marks of their battle riddled the blade. “Sorry looks like they will need to be sharpened..” “You can help if you want,” Remus said with a small smile, moving to a table that was near the wrack of weapons. Sitting down he inspected the blade that Lancer had been using before red eyes looked towards her. Joining him at the table, Lancer looked to the wall of weapons as she laid the sword onto the table. “Do you practice with all these?” “Most of them yes, but often alone. No one will dare spar me who live in this castle,” watching Lancer as she inspected the other weapons, he took out a wet stone and started to work on repairing the sword’s blade. “Thank you I haven’t had a good sparring session in a long time.” ~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~ Following the green assassin, Reaper glanced back now and again to be sure the black assassin staid with them. ‘ As long as they stay close, Fang may have a chance with the other two,’ looking on ahead she watched the green assassin drop down between two buildings and followed after them. The black assassin dropped down behind her as their leader walked into the abandoned building. Red eyes narrowed as she followed them to the ring that would take them to headquarters. While the green assassin put in the access code for headquarters, the black assassin mumped Reaper, forcing her to the ground and quickly binding her hands. Struggling against them as she was janked to her feet, her scythe taken by the black assassin as they pushed her towards the now open portal. Red eyes glared at them as she growled as they shoved her again this time stumbling into the portal. Appearing in the portal room, the green assassin took Reaper’s blade from their comrade and headed towards the big blue doors. Having no choice, Reaper followed with the black assassin behind her. Reaching the head assassin’s office, Reaper struggled with the restraints, causing them to bite into her wrists as the black assassin pushed her in. Stumbling over their foot extended foot she growled as she fell to the floor and the green assassin forced her head up with her own blade. Red eyes glared to the green assassin, wishing to break her bindings and kill them on the spot. “As you requested, the assassins who failed to report their progress. They came to us alone, and we are on the hunt for Fang and Lancer,” the green assassin bowed their head but kept the blade steady and close to Reaper’s neck. “Explain yourself Reaper,” the head assassin stood from their chair as they watched the red cloaked assassin before them. “Failure is not tolerated nor will you and your team be exempt from punishment.” ‘ No matter what I say these two can twist my words and the lead assassin will believe their word over my own,’ anger flared through her at the two closest to her, there was nothing to say. Staring blankly to the head assassin, she waited for was to come. Her only hope was that Lancer and Fang would come for her soon. “You will not defend yourself?” Their eyes narrowed and the green assassin pressed her blade to where it rested on her neck. Feeling the blade’s pressure, her red eyes glared at the assassin, but Reaper said nothing. The head assassin shook his head and motioned for them to take her away, “Put her in the cell for now.” Closing her eyes at the sentence, Reaper let them drag her away from the office. She didn’t look back towards the head assassin. Heading down many halls, the two stopped at a door and the black assassin opened it and looked back towards their leader. Holding tightly to Reaper’s arm forcing her into the dark room, Reaper knew she could have gotten away, but there was no good to come of it. To run away would be a sentence for her, and she was sure they would also be after her team as well. It wouldn’t be something Lancer would have wanted. Allowing them to shove her into a cell, the green assassin towered over her. Reaper’s scythe inches from her neck once again as if tempted to poison her with her own blade. Red eyes narrowed at the lousy assassin. “Do it, I’m sure the head would love to hear how you had killed me,” Reaper snarled moving slowly to her feet, “It would be your only chance to harm me. If my hands weren’t bound I would have watched you die by my own poison and I would enjoy it.” Blue eyes narrowed at Reaper as they growled at her. The blade moved closer before it pierced Reaper’s skin, the red cloaked assassin made no movement at the small cut. Even the smallest of cuts, Reaper could feel her poison taking effect as she slumped to the floor laying on her side. “Just can’t keep your mouth shut, you could have done great things Reaper. It's a shame it had to end this way,” the green assassin then left the cell, closing the cell door behind them. Putting the scythe on the far side of the wall out of Reaper’s reach they looked back towards the red cloaked assassin, “Until we meet again Reaper.” The two then headed out of the room, leaving Reaper in the darkness. ‘ Jokes on you,’ Reaper thought as she made a mental note to thank Fang for her training in using their own poison against each other. Kneeling Reaper gasped for hair, slow breaths were key as she had to keep herself calm. During training she found rapid breathing caused it to take effect faster. Reaper swung her arms under her feet so that her hands were in front of her. Digging around for her antidote with bound hands was difficult. Getting the vial Reaper forced it open and quickly drank before collapsing on the cell floor. ‘ I have to thank Fang if I live to see her again…’ Closing her eyes, she knew of two ways she would be getting out one being Thena captured alive or dead, and second would be death. Hoping Lancer and Fang could bring the vampire in without her, Reaper glanced around the darkness listening, ‘ I have a feeling they will be back,’ Taking the empty vial she put it into her pocket and moved her arms back behind her.

Syn frowned, she automatically thought he would be a nuisance to him, her own son. They should have thought about some sort of signal or key word to give or say if he wanted to leave. Damn it.
“So Cindy,” he spoke up wanting to change the subject, “can you tell me about yourself? I already know a lot about Ishi,” he playfully nudged Ishimu with a smile, “How long have you lived here in Denvil?” he looked at the woman, “and I can already tell you love your son, judging by the pictured and drawings” he said with a laugh.
“I think we can accept any help we can get” Nights gently rubbed the side of the shadows head, “but what do you mean they can't understand us? They can't read sign?” she tilted her head wondering who they had in mind, and what they meant by “eccentric”.
“Wrong on something?” Rin looked at him confused, “But yeah. A lot of more things are clearer than before”. Settling in his lap once they were in the shed he looked at at them, “just close?” he said with a grin, “maybe I'm remembering from Maru’s perspective, but I think it was a little more than close” he laughed.
Looking at his paws thinking about his body he shrugged, “You get use to it, it's like being in your normal body? Everything is scaled down really small. What’s really weird is that fact that you remember dying but your back with the living like nothing ever happened and things are the same even though its not”
Rin went quiet for a moment, something had come to his attention that shook the small plush as he looked off into the distance like he was out of it, “...zard” he whispered, “Blizzard…she called me Blizzard…”
“The ones with the white feathers are the one time use ones so I hope there not using those” Vega rubbed that back of his head.
Once Hala got the ok she leaped through the portal going to where Fang was.
“Looks like we might be losing connection after this, but it was nice speaking to you again Fay, I hope we can chat once again” Vega smiled and bowed to the alpha.
Hala began to go through the bag with what she may need, looking up at the others in the room with a greeting smile as she started to get to work, putting on gloves and uncovering the bandages she had put on the previous day, “I take it she never made it back to her headquarters?” she signed to Blinky.
She lightly touched the area of the wound to see how much it had swollen from the last time she had seen it, frowning, she saw that it did not heal any.
She felt Fangs forehead and she was burning up. First action, cleaning up the wound and getting this fever down.
“How long has she been like this?”
Raider felt the dagger cut away some hair as she tried to dodge out the way once more but his feet were kicked out from under him, cursing him while he hit the ground. Seeing Lenore take off after him he scrambled to his feet, “Wrath!” he called out to the plush.
“I’m keeping you safe in case,” Wrath perked up hearing Raider call it. “Run faster kid” it warned.
“Get back here!” a familiar voice called after Lenore. Envy, Pride and Greed chased after the vampire, Pride close at her heels.

“We lived here for four years, it's only recently that Ishimu had moved out,” Cindy replied as she glanced to Ishimu. ‘ Too cute that Syn uses the same nickname,’ she was a little surprised Ishimu had allowed Syn to use it. He had always hated the nickname. Shaking her head she looked back to Syn and smiled, “I am a teller at the bank down the road, the pay is okay but the people can be a bit irritating. That is with every job though…” She laughed a little, “Other than that I tend to the house and garden. My way of relaxing.” “If we lived closer to forest or mountains, mom would be doing hiking instead of housework,” Ishimu glanced to Syn, “She loves the outdoors.” “To feel free and not tied down from time to time is a great feeling,” she smiled as she watched the two, “Have you ever hiked Syn?” Feeling like things were starting to feel normal, Ishimu glanced around at the room. Frowning a little when his mom hadn’t explained why they had moved to begin with, but at the same time, he didn’t really blame her at the time things had been rough. “I think I’ll get a drink,” he smiled to Syn as he got to his feet, “I’ll be right back, want anything?” Not wanting to interrupt the two from getting along even if it was a little bit. The shadow creature nodded with a small laugh, They can’t sign nor do they understand it, but they are great at problem-solving. Grinning it moved off Nights’ lap and moved to the bars. It then tested where the portals would stay open before bring them through. When the portal stayed open, the shadow creature then opened three more portals near the first. Yellow eyes looked excitedly to the figures coming through the portals. The first to appear was a woman with black hair, black semi-long nails, and red eyes. They almost appeared to be human, as she wore black to blend into the shadows. Red eyes had fallen to the shadow creature a little puzzled as to what was going on. The shadow creature waved to her as it watched them then look towards the others that had started to appear. A young male was next to appear with small horns that barely stuck out through the demon’s white hair. Their purple eyes looked around them confused to where they were before looking to the woman next to them. The shadow creature glanced to Nights as the other two soon appeared. As if checking to see if Nights was okay before looking back to the others. The other was a young male that had dark purple hair that almost looked black. Other than the red eyes they could pass for being human. They wore black clothing just like the woman and the other young males. The shadow creature watched them look around them before it then noticed the last demon to arrive. The last to appear was an unhappy demon with long horns coming from their head. Their white hair couldn’t mask it like the other male’s hair could. Their blue eyes glared at the shadow creature as their black wings were folded behind them. Arms crossed they looked a little intimidating that the shadow creature gave a small smile before pointing to Nights. The shadow creature faced Nights as it then went in the order from which the demons had arrived, The woman is Haiz, the young male with the purple eyes is Magnus, Zenos is the dark purple haired demon, and their leader Jarel is the one with wings and long horns. They should be able to help. The first to see Nights as their eyes looked to see who was with the shadow creature was Haiz. Her eyes were wide as she looked to Jarel with excitement, “It’s her! I can’t believe we get to finally see her!” She beamed at Nights before frowning at the cell bars, “Why are you in a cage? Some sick joke of Shade’s?” The demon that Haiz had been excited to show Nights within the cell, had frowned at the vampire in confusion on what she was even going on about. “Are you sure you recognize her?” The woman had nodded excitedly and had looked back towards Nights. The dark purple haired demon had moved closer to the cell. Inspecting it before looking to the white-haired male. “Magnus, check the area if you would,” Zenos watched the demon shift on their feet before looking to Jarel for back up, “The blue-robed one said Thena had escaped, what if this is her doing? Do you really want to be ambushed?” “Very well,” Jarel looked to Magnus and nodded for the demon to go. Watching them sulk Jarel growled, “The faster you are done the sooner you can come back!” He called to them before shaking his head. Haiz skipped over to the cell and put her hand into pet the shadow creature, “How did you get into such a mess.” The shadow creature blinked and turned it’s head to the side, confused on what she was saying. Moving to the cell Jarel put a hand to one of the bars and tugged. “Hmm…” he then moved to test a different side and looked to Zenos, “They are steel bars cemented in..” “Interesting,” Zenos murmured to himself as he glanced to Nights with a small smile, “We shall try to get you free…” “Try?” Haiz glared at Zenos, “If you don’t want to be Shade’s new carpet in his castle I say you’d better do more than try.” “Your memory is definitely getting better,” Storm murmured as he petted the plush’s ear. Trying to force himself to relax before Rin had something that was startling. At first, he thought he had misheard it, but when Ren had said it twice. His blood went cold as he stopped mid-stroke, his blue eyes looking at Rin. A part of him didn’t want to believe that the plush was Blizzard, the snow leopard. ‘ It can’t be it...why wasn’t I told?...’ shaking he tried to fight the tears wondering if he had remained with them that Blizzard wouldn’t have been gone. Closing his eyes as he fought with himself, ‘ All the revenge and I couldn’t save my pack. When I met Maru I was happy why hadn’t I stayed.’ Placing Rin down gently next to him, Storm transformed into his wolf form. Shaking out his white fur before sitting next to Rin. Then raising his head towards the ceiling he howled. The only way he knew how to grieve, the howl was a sad sound one meant for loved ones when they passed. When he had finished he wrapped himself against the plush and put his tail over Rin like a blanket. Whimpering sadly as he closed his eyes wondering how Blizzard had passed. ‘ I’m so sorry...Maru, so sorry,’ he whimpered again as he kept Rin close. The shadow creature looked to Vega with confusion unsure if what was going on. It squeaked in hopes to get the muscular wolf’s attention. Frowning as it finished with the transfer its ears lowered a little wonder if it had done something wrong. “I best tell them that before we have none left,” Fay shook his head with a small laugh, “It was great seeing Moon pass again, may your pack forever be prosperous.” Putting a hand to his heart he bowed in respect, “Thank you for all your help Vega. Please let Hala know if we may help the pack out in any way, we will gladly.” “Well you see-” Blinky cut itself off as Hala had emerged from the portal and started to get right to work. It watched the healer sadly before nodding, “Thena had planned something but Fang was sent away before Thena could do more damage. I don’t think they knew her condition was so bad..” Its ears lowered as it noticed Fang digging their nails into the bed. Yellow eyes looked back towards Hala, “Maybe since this morning, if she was this bad and not showing weakness to the other two, they wouldn’t have known…” Blinky shivered only imagining what the yellow assassin was going through. “Will she be okay?” The shadow creature saw it’s chance as it moved slowly from the group and into a corner. ‘ Sorry but duty calls…’ S.C. thought as it then disappeared through the portal. It then reappeared in Shade’s castle by the front door just before the winding stairs and the guest room that Remus kept company in. The clang of metal caught its attention right away. Racing towards the sound it hoped it wasn’t too late in getting to the blue-robed assassin. Yellow eyes grew wide as it skidded into the room and watched the two fighting within. It squeaked out in alarm, causing Remus to miss the block of Lancer’s blade as it then sliced into their arm. The blue assassin had quickly backed off, panting she dropped the blade letting the sound of metal ring through the room. The wound was great as she watched Remus’ blood drip to the floor from the wound she had inflicted. “I’m sorry Remus,” Lancer frowned from behind her mask, unsure of why the vampire had missed the block, as she approached the vampire who had clutched their arm. “Please allow me to see it,” golden eyes watched them closely as they held their arm out to her. “Let's have you sit down..” Looking for something in her pockets she pulled out a half cut rubber band long enough to tie just above the vampire’s arm. “It will slow the bleeding, come.” She guided them to the table where she watched him work on the swords just moments before. “I have had worse,” Remus replied as he glanced to the shadow creature, watching it run towards them. “If this little guy hadn’t squeaked I would have blocked it just fine.” When Remus sat down, Lancer began to work on the wound. “You’ll be able to still use the arm so that is good news, just take it easy. I hope you have a healer in this world you can trust…” Lancer looked to S.C. who’s ears had lowered and their yellow eyes had looked to Remus. “You didn’t know, don’t beat yourself up,” Remus watched Lancer untie the rubber band and flexed his fingers, “Thank you Lancer, and I shall be sure if it causes me any issues to go to a healer.” “You’re welcome,” retrieving the blade she had been using she put it onto the table and looked back to the shadow creature. Are you able to take me home?“So that’s how you did it!” S.C. laughed but nodded as it rubbed the back of its head, “Sorry Remus, I didn’t mean to get you hurt...and sorry Lancer to have taken so long…” “We had a great time, no need to apologize,” Remus replied looking to Lancer, “Seems you can go home now.” Watching Hala work on Fang, he looked to Blinky still waiting for its explanation, “Blinky?” “Sorry…” Blinky looked to Shade as it picked up Fang’s mask off the floor and poked Hala, “Reaper said to wear this and the sheet… There are assassins outside, who I guess are worse than these three. Reaper had specific instructions for you to answer the door and sound urgent to get back to Fang if they were to ever come. Hopefully, we don’t have to find out what happens if that fails…” “Nothing else? Where did Reaper go?” Toshi frowned as he moved closer to the bed unsure if Hala would need any help. “I can’t be certain where the assassin had gone, but they both had acted funny…” Blinky crossed its arms as it looked back towards Hala and Fang, “I promised Reaper that the assassin would be okay…” “Stupid plush toys back off!” Lenore growled as she ran after Zane, nearly catching up to the young vampire. Zane frowned as he skidded to a halt facing the vampire that was chasing him, his red eyes glared at her. “I can’t outrun her,” Zane replied to Wrath, “But there is one thing I can at least try to do.” He watched as Lenore stopped and seemed to be trying to find the best advantage spot. ‘ If I had a weapon this would be a fair fight.’ Clutching his hands he didn’t look to Wrath that was still on his head, “Hold on tight Wrath.” Confused by the boy’s sudden reaction, Lenore watched as Zane came at her. Bracing herself she bared her fangs at him, “You think you can match a skilled vampire?” The boy didn’t reply as they went to punch her, catching the fist with ease. Lenore then slashed at Zane while holding their hand. Realizing that Lenore was aiming at Wrath, Zane growled and quickly dropped to the ground. Sweeping his leg in hopes to catch Lenore off guard, but the vampire had jumped over it. Swinging his leg back to try again, Lenore had jumped and growled at him. While she was in the air, he tackled her forcing her to the ground. In her surprise, Zane’s hand had become free and he struggled to get the slashing dagger out of Lenore’s grip. Hissing as it cut at his hands and forearms. He managed to subdue Lenore’s dagger hand and winced when Lenore had bit into his wrist. “Raider!” Zane yelled out in pain as the vampire bitten down harder, feeling his blood trickle down his arm to his elbow, ‘ Did she hit an artery?’ Zane tried not to feel to queazy as he tried to get Lenore’s teeth out of his skin. ~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~ Pain crept through her arms as she kept them behind her. A low growl escaped her throat as she was certain someone was in the room with her. Propping herself up on her left elbow, Reaper tried to look for them through the darkness. “Who’s there?” “Perceptive as ever Reaper, glad that hasn’t changed,” by the voice alone, Reaper knew who it was, growling she dug her nails into her palms, “Relax, I only came by to let you know your team will be disbanded. As I said I don’t like failure, so there will be split up into different teams.” “You can’t do that, we’ve worked together for a while now,” Reaper struggled against her restraints, wishing she could grab the head assassin before her, and ram their head into the bars. “You and Lancer have a team ready for when they return Fang, however…” the assassin shrugged knowing Reaper couldn’t see it, “I have yet to find a team that will take her.” “I can’t believe you would split our team, we work well together,” Reaper hissed as she got to her feet, unable to believe what she was hearing, “Tell me the team I am to join isn’t…” “Yes the ones who had brought you in, they have been wanting you for a while now. I agreed to it if you had failed me, and failing to report progress on missions isn’t tolerated Reaper. Of all the teams I am surprised in yours,” he replied with a small frown behind his mask as he found Reaper’s scythe and toyed with it a little, “I did have high hopes for your team. I only came to tell you the bad news.” Putting the scythe back against the wall the head assassin then left the room, leaving Reaper once more alone in the darkness. When the head assassin had left, Reaper rammed the bars as hard as she could. Anger fueled her as she bared through the pain. Taking a few steps back, working to get her hands in front of her, and pulled with all her strength to get her hands free. Gritting her teeth as to keep from screaming as her wrist dislocated and slipped out of one of the binding. Reaper growled as she closed her eyes taking a few breaths as she cradled her hand to her chest. Taking a few deep breaths from the pain, she then kicked at the bars trying to get free with everything that she had. The bars clanged to the floor with Reaper landing on top of them and her hurt hand. Seething in pain she rolled onto her back, ‘ Sorry Lancer, like hell will I be on their team.’ Forcing herself to her feet, she kept her left arm close to her chest. Struggling to locate her scythe, she ran into the wall before following it with her right hand trailing along with it. Stumbling over something as it caught her leg causing Reaper to fall once again to the floor. ‘ This is getting old, fast,’ though what she had tripped on had clanged to the floor at the same time she had fallen. Feeling around for what she had tripped over and found the staff to her scythe and used it to pull herself to her feet. Keeping her scythe in her right hand, Reaper used her knuckles to scrape along the wall as she stumbled a few times into it. Her left hand throbbing with pain as she kept it close to her so it wouldn’t bump into anything. Finding the cracks for the door, Reaper was forced to put her blade away as she felt for the knob. Opening and poking her head out, Reaper looked up and down the hall. When it was clear, she made a run for it, looking for the big blue doors that would lead to the portal room. Ignoring the assassins in the hall Reaper soon found the blue doors and quickly opened them, though it was a struggle, she had managed to slip inside. Closing it behind her she rested her back against it as the pain in her felt worse as get anger started to subside. Walking to the portal Reaper turned on her wrist band and carefully putting the coordinates. The ring didn’t hum to life as she stared at it in disbelief she tried again when it didn’t work she took off her wrist band a little too violently and threw it at the ring. Falling to her knees she held her wrist in her hand as she tried to figure out just what was wrong with it, ‘ Damn it…’ “What’s wrong Reaper? You look lost,” Reaper didn’t have to turn to face the door, she knew who it was. Gritting her teeth she glared over her shoulder at the green assassin. The black assassin stayed behind their leader as they waited patiently for the assassin’s signal. “How dare you destroy my team,” Reaper turned and faced them, getting to her feet as her anger returned. It had helped the pain subside for now, “I will kill you!” Pulling out her scythe as she glared at the two assassins. “With one hand? Did you think I wouldn’t have noticed I had expected you to escape,” they replied as their blue eyes looked to the black assassin, “Finish it.” The black cloaked assassin ran at her causing Reaper to jump to the side as their dagger slashed at the air. Growling Reaper put a hand to her mask and removed it, crushing in in her good hand she glared at the two assassins. “What are you?” The black cloaked assassin’s eyes had gone wide in terror as they took a step back from her. Reaper’s form had changed before their eyes to a black demon with red eyes and sharp teeth. “I am your worst nightmare,” Reaper snarled through sharp teeth as her right hand grabbed her scythe. Keeping her other hand close to her body, Reaper lashed out at the assassin who ducked and dodged her attacks, “What’s the matter? Lost your will to fight?” Reaper launched herself at the black assassin giving them no time to react as she pinned the assassin by their neck with the staff of her weapon. Sharp teeth inches from their face as she watched them struggle against her. “You were never a match for me, and your team will remain at the bottom of mine.” Reaper hissed in their ear. Pain in her back as a blade penetrated deep she turned her attention to the green assassin. Reaper’s form changed again as she became what they had feared most, horns sprouted from her head knocking back her hood and wings came from her back, slicing the back part of her robe. Snarling at the green assassin she took a step towards them, then she fell to one knee remembering the blade that was embedded into the left side of her back just below her left wing. The green assassin’s poison had hit her, due to the wound, she knew it would hit her much faster than it would if it had been a scratch. Putting her scythe down at her side, she let go of it before pouncing onto the green assassin, land on top of them. Wincing as she forced herself to sit up, she snarled at the green assassin below her. Putting her right hand on the assassin’s throat she looked into their blue eyes. Digging her nails into their neck, “Listen good insect.” Reaper growled as she leaned closer to them, “I will never be on your team.” Moving off the assassin she then grabbed the green assassin’s wrist and pulled off their wrist band. Putting the coordinates to where Fang was, she looked to the ring as it started to hum softly to life and dropped the wrist band. While she waited for the portal to be ready she pulled at the blade that was in her back but wasn’t able to reach it too well. Grabbing her scythe she leaned against it as her form changed to the one she had preferred, shaking her head she moved to the black assassin who cowered at her feet in fear. Not saying a word, Reaper pulled off their mask and slipped it on over hers before bringing up her hood. Turning towards the portal she made her way into it, leaving the two behind in the dimly lit room. ‘ I hope they won’t be back…’ she thought as she slipped through to the other side of the portal. Once through and the portal had closed, Reaper stumbled through the dark building putting her scythe away she leaned against the wall close to the entrance of the building. Feeling her wrist she winced and bit her tongue as she forced it back into place. Tasting blood in her mouth she slumped to the floor to catch her breath as her nerves seemed too shot to stand. Closing her eyes she winced remembering the blade that was still embedded, “Damn assassin…” Her voice echoed off the walls, and she noticed a skittish creature in the darkness. What gave it away was their yellow eyes. “I suppose you are one who can’t talk as well,” Reaper murmured resting on her right shoulder to get the pressure off her left side. Hearing claws on the floor as they slowly came towards her, Reaper shifted as the shadow creature slowly walked towards her, and then turned its head to the side. “I don’t suppose you can understand me…” When it turned its head to the other side, it had answered Reaper’s question. Nope closing her eyes in frustration, Reaper shivered as she glanced towards the broken window above her head. Wondering how much time had passed since she had left Fang. The shadow creature poked Reaper’s black boot and pointed near the assassin’s feet. Looking to where the shadow creature had pointed, she could make out something dark just in front of her. “Blinky?” Reaper asked remembering one of their names as it gave a small no understanding the one word it knew. ‘ If you send me somewhere else little creature…’
