“We are nearly there,” yellow eyes looked to the moody red cloaked assassin who was leaning against a wall of a building, they had taken shelter from the sun in. The room they were in was a small bedroom with one window and the place was empty. Fang had checked everywhere for any items they could use while they waited for sundown but she had came up empty. “You mean were nearly there,” she growled, her red eyes didn’t leave their prisoner who was sitting in the middle of the room. They had woken up only a few hours ago when they first arrived in their shelter. The yellow cloaked assassin stood near the window, watching the two bicker over the situation once more. She had heard it more than once during the hours of their stay in the building, and she wasn’t too sure on how long the two would last before fighting it out. Closing her eyes, she put a hand to the bandaged wound on her neck, it would take time to heal even with their enhanced abilities. Her eyes then fell to Thena, who was awake and watching the two bickering assassins. It was unnerving to watch someone so calm who had been captured, it didn’t quite sit right with her but she didn’t wish to voice out her concerns in front of their prisoner. “What’s the matter? Did you have no plan to get me to headquarters in the sunlight?” she didn’t even try to hide her sly smile as she watched the red cloaked assassin and blue cloaked assassin. Red eyes narrowed at the vampire sitting comfortably on the floor. “Quiet,” Reaper warned her, though the smile on the vampire’s lips didn’t waver. “Ignore her Reaper, we’ll be home once night falls,” the blue cloaked assassin then looked to Fang. The masks they may have hid facial expressions, but she could tell something was bothering the yellow cloaked assassin through years of working together. “ Something on your mind?” she signed to Fang ignoring the confused vampire in the middle. “She isn’t deaf just mute. You don’t have to sign to each other,” rolling her eyes at Lancer and getting a glare from Fang told her to butt out. Crossing her arms she mumbled something under her breath as she glared at Thena. “ We don’t know if I’ll be staying Mute or not until we get to headquarters,” Fang signed vigorously for Lancer to translate, brown eyes glared at the red cloaked assassin. “Lets hope its not permanent, I don’t think I could handle a mute Fang,” Reaper shrugged her shoulders before looking to their amused prisoner. Scowling under her mask, she resisted the urge to strike her. Turning her attention back to Lancer, the assassin frowned from behind her mask. “ She seems too smug for someone who has been captured, and knows her fate once we get her to headquarters,” she looked to Thena when she finished signing, a small scowl on her lips before looking back to Lancer and continuing, “ It seems odd to be so calm for someone that is meant to die so soon.” Lancer looked to their prisoner, her golden eyes narrowed after Fang’s assumption. Thena had alluded all capture for many years, now they had her and she didn’t seem to even worry. ‘ The sun wouldn’t set until a good few hours from now and we can’t move in daylight… That gives her too much time to recover-’ Lancer looked back to Fang, ‘ She plans to recover and escape as soon as the sun sets.’‘ Do you think she can without her ability?’ Shaking her head, she couldn’t be certain on when Thena would regain her ability. ‘ If she regains it by nightfall we’ll be back to square one…’ Lancer gritted her teeth in frustration, knowing that Thena wouldn’t leave them without a fight. ~~*~~*~~*~~ Ishimu nuzzled Syn’s arm subconsciously as he didn’t stir from slumber. Soft giggles came from the living room from Kage and Blinky talking. Though they were trying hard to keep it down, it seemed to echo off the walls in the quiet home. A purple ear twitched as the smile on Blinky’s face faltered causing the cat next to it to twitch its tail. It’s yellow pupiless eyes watching it, Blinky shook its head as it looked back towards the bedroom, “I wonder how they are doing...Any idea on when they had last fed?” Looking to the cat as it shook its head. “I can’t be certain sorry…” turning its head to the side, “It’s too dangerous for them to be out right now..” The dark purple cat looked around the room, “Though something tells me you may have a plan for that.” “Just a small one,” Blinky replied with a small grin, “Besides we don’t know if its safe for them to roam the streets.” Kage turned its head to the side, “I think you have more tricks than we do.” “Oh? That is good to know,” it grinned as it watched Kage lay on the couch beside it. Hearing that the vampire was done talking to whoever it was at the door. The shadow creature gave a small smile as it looked from the bedroom to down the hall. Confused on where to be, it then looked to Toshi who was now leaning against the door that lead outside. The vampire’s head had lifted when they heard Nights call for them, the shadow creature made a small gesture to come and follow as it then headed into the bedroom. ‘ You should rest as well, with so many ears around I doubt there will be much trouble,’[/u] it signed as it stopped near Nights’ feet and looked up at her. Watching the shadow creature, Kelarth gave a small smile, “Can always use me as a pillow.” He offered with a small bit of teasing to his voice, “Shade enjoyed it as well as Kema.” “You make a better pillow than a werewolf,” Kema replied with a small laugh, “If she’s tired though I’m sure she’ll want to sleep elsewhere.” The vampire leaned against the door frame, watching the two closely before letting out a soft sigh. “In truth we could all use the rest, who knows how long the three cloaks can keep Thena. If she gets away, it won’t be just Shade that she is after.” “They can handle her I’m sure, they didn’t seem human,” Kelarth replied with a small frown glancing towards Toshi in the doorway. His tail furrowed as he watched the vampire confused on what he was saying. Grey eyes burrowed into Kelarth’s as he flashed his fangs irritated, “Think about it carefully Kelarth, there is only one of them in good health. The other two wouldn’t be able to put up much fight, even with the wound that Shade had caused Thena. She’ll escape...only this time it may be worse.” Kema frowned as he looked to Toshi then to Kelarth, “Maybe one of us should have went with them.” “To put you or Kelarth in danger, Shade wouldn’t allow it. If anyone else got hurt by Thena I’m sure he’d feel it was his fault,” Toshi gave a small sigh, “I only hope they made it home before she woke up.” The shadow creature frowned and turned its head to the side as it felt the tension in the room. It then nuzzled up to Nights and looked up towards her before signing, “ Is everyone okay?“Looks like while we are here, we should work together and then when back home go our separate ways,” Toshi replied looking to Kelarth as he didn’t have any issues with Kema wanting to fight him. It was the werewolf that seemed more on edge around him. Kelarth’s tail twitched in annoyance but nodded to the vampire, “Fine truce for now. But backstab and I won’t hesitate to kill you.” “Will you be staying in one place then? At least for a little while?” S.C. asked hopefully as it turned its head to the side, “If you were not the target, then why would they kill your husband?” S.C. frowned as it didn’t seem that it had been an accident. Shaking its head it wasn’t sure that anything from the kingdoms downfall would make much sense. It’s ears twitched at the thought , looking ahead its yellow eyes looked around them. “Do you know a vampire named Thena any? It may have been a long time ago…” “Raider had saved me from a vampire, I wish to help him out somehow,” Zane replied as he tried to get the thread into the needle’s eye. After many attempts, he managed to string it and then worked on the two pieces of fabric. “I wish to help patch up injured plush after they have finished fighting, or accidently get themselves a hole somehow..” Trying hard to copy what Raider had taught him, Zane frowned at what Rin had said earlier on touching or picking up other plush. Remembering Rin’s purpose for being here, he glanced towards the sleeping werewolf on the bed. Stopping what he was doing he looked back towards Rin, “Sorry, next time I’ll ask before picking you up...as well as petting.” The dog like plush seemed fitting to a werewolf, but it was hard to believe the soul was once human and killed vampires. Probably without question. ‘ While I’m here I’m under Raider’s protection I’m sure. But if i were to ever leave, I would be faced against werewolves that think like Storm or Lenore.’ shaking his head he tried to get back to what he was doing. “The vampire that turned me, I’m sure you had seen her with Storm there at some point,” Zane replied not looking towards Rin as he focused on what he was doing. Trying to make some small talk as he worked.

Syn laughed a little at the cuddling redhead, ‘I’ll let him wake up on his own, though Kage and Blinky are a bit loud, wonder if they know i'm up’ he looked to the door of the bedroom and wondered what the two shadowlings were up to.
“Don't tempt me” Nights laughed, gathering the small shadow in her arms, “I’m fine sleeping anywhere though” she gently nuzzled the shadow.
She rubbed the shadows head as she listened in on Kelarth and Toshi talking about Thena, she frowned thinking about the crazy woman being in the loose again. But she felt Toshi was right, he was there when she and hala were working on Fang, and she was sure he saw how Lancer turned out. She hoped they were alright.
“There worried about Thena escaping from Fang and her partners. It's a scary thought but we have to worry about it” Nights signed back to the shadow. She hoped that she would never have to see that woman again.
“At least you two are getting along for now,” she spoke with a hint of sarcasm, “Shade would be glad”.
“Mostly I will stay in one placed unless I am needed” Leilani looked ahead to where they were walking, thinking of where she would stay, possibly back in the home where she lived with Bastien, if it was still there. “I believe they killed Bastien was because he was fighting back and was going after some demons that were harming others”. She smiled faintly remembering his heroics acts before she had to say goodbye.
Looking back to SC with a look of confusion she thought for a moment, “Thena? I believe I’ve heard of the name, I'm not sure where though, possibly through Bastien? Why? Who are they?” curiosity grew as to why SC would bring up this person.
Rin tilted his head to the other side watching Zane work, “so you just want to be a plush repair person? And I don't mind pets, or head pats” he laughed, even when I was alive I loved it when I got them” he grinned.
A white ear twitched hearing about the messed up vampire, “Lenore? We saw her last night, we kinda fought her and injured her a bit,” he laughed, “but she’s out there somewhere,” he paused growing silent as he watched him work, “you afraid that she’s going to come back for you?”

Blinky laughed at the expression on the dark purple panther’s face when a portal had appeared in the living room. Jumping down from the couch it walked over to the portal as another shadow creature emerged holding something that almost looked like it contained something black.
“Thanks,” waving the shadow creature back into the portal it had came from, Blinky looked to the confused cat on the couch, “Something to help them both until nightfall.”
Looking closer, Kage gave a small nod seeing there were two items in the creature’s hands, “Need help in getting them to Ishimu and Syn?”
“If you want, but if they are asleep we must be very quiet. Vampires like their rest,” it smiled as it headed down the hall towards the bedroom.
Stretching before climbing off the couch, Kage followed the shadow creature towards the door. Watching as it fumbled the bags in its arms before stopping at the door that lead into the two sleeping vampires room. Kage moved closer to the door listening for any sound but didn’t hear anything from the other side. The shadow cat then carefully opened the door using its massive paws, allowing the shadow creature to enter first before following after.
Blinky walked to the night stand and carefully lifted the heavy packs over its head as it tried to reach the table top. As it did, the top bag began to slip. Blinky managed to get the bottom bag on the table as the top one slipped, landing on its head before hitting the ground behind it.
The shadow panther jumped at the sound as it watched the dazed shadow creature sit on the floor rubbing its head. Looking to the bed, Kage slowly made its way to the bag, and gently picked it up with its teeth. Walking to the table that had the other bag on it, Kaze then put the bag on top of the bag that had made it onto the table before freezing on the spot. Yellow eyes looking to the bed, noticing that Syn was not asleep like they had thought.
The shadow creature smiled to her before looking back towards Toshi with a small frown. It wasn’t too sure on what was going on, but the tension was definitely obvious in the room. Shrinking back close to Nights, It then looked to Nights turning its head to the side as it recalled some of the battle with Thena, “I hope she never comes back.”
Toshi gave a small shrug wincing a little due to the wound on his arm as it started to ache. “It’s either that or fight at dusk, Shade wouldn’t want us to be fighting not when a real threat is out there. Besides I’m used to this werewolf threats, often we fight in our world.”
Shaking his head, he looked to the silent Kema who seemed to be thinking quietly. A small frown came to his lips as he remembered Kema had seen all of Thena’s memories. ‘Hopefully Kema is alright,’ Kelarth thought before looking to the shadow creature in Nights’ arms.
Kema had remained still while they had been talking, listening on the topic of Thena. He didn’t wish to break any news of what he did know until Shade was well rested. It was much worse than they had realized and keeping it quiet was becoming difficult. “True or not we may need more help than you know,” looking to Toshi, he ignored the confused look on Kelarth’s face. “You want redemption for what you had done to the prince. If anything you more than earned it, I doubt you got your wounds from Shade. If you had you wouldn’t be here not like this. So you have gained Shade’s trust.”
Toshi looked at Kema shocked at what he was saying, he frowned a little as he thought on what Kema had meant. ‘True he could have left me die on the battlefield and didn’t,’ thinking on it, he was sure if Shade really didn’t want him around he would have tied him up. Yet he was allowed to move around the house freely.
Seeing the realization on Toshi’s face, Kema gave a small smile, before looking to Kelarth, “As for you, why can’t you let the past stay there?”
“He’s been with Thena not just once but twice Kema. I don’t trust him, what if he’s as twisted as her?” Kelarth tried to keep the growl out of his voice but had failed, he glared at the vampire in the doorway, “He could be a spy for her.”
Kema looked to Nights with an apologetic shrug. He had tried to get them on the same page, but Kelarth wasn’t wanting to listen. With a small sigh, Kema became quiet once more, pondering on the outcome if Thena were to escape.
“He died to save others, most would in that kind of situation,” S.C. replied shifting on her shoulder, “She’s a vampire that Shade had once played with as a child. But now she is terrorizing this world until she gets what she wants.” S.C. frowned as he thought on it, ‘I don’t think she knows what had happened in the shadow realm.’ Looking up to Leilani, S.C. gave a small smile, “In short she caused the realm lots of trouble and Shade managed to chase her out only for her to come to here and cause trouble here. Shade is trying his best to get rid of her..”
Giving a small nod, Zane looked to the plush with a small smile, “Something like that, Raider didn’t have to take me in…” He trailed off as he looked to the fabric in his hands. The stitching looked too loose. Pulling it out he tried again, “I have a feeling she’ll be back. If what you say is true, that you two did attack her. Then she can no longer rely on you and Storm in finding the vampire she seeks.”
Zane nearly jumped in pain not realizing where his finger was, and the needle jabbed into it. “Owe,” he hissed trying to keep his voice down so he wouldn’t wake up Storm. Putting the injured finger into his mouth before looking to Rin. When he was sure that the wound wouldn’t bleed he pulled it out and decided to take a small break.
“She made me a vampire for one purpose, to find a vampire for her. After that I’m sure I would be cast aside,” Zane frowned at the thought and looked towards Storm’s back, ‘Alone and grumpy like Storm…’
The werewolf was awake listening on the conversation between Rin and Zane. It was hard to sleep with the hushed tones in the room, but he didn’t move. Over the years he had learned when people thought you were asleep, the more truthful they are to speak their mind. ‘I don’t think she would break into the house, she wouldn’t be that stupid,’ Storm thought as he stifled a yawn with part of the blanket, trying to remain quiet.

Syn watched the shadow cat and creature walk into the room, trying not to laugh at their attempts to place something on the night tables by them. “You could have just knocked to see if any of us were up, but thank you, I’d also pet you on the head but I can't move at all” he looked over at Ishimu hoping that all the talking didn't wake him up.
“You and me both” Nights signed back to the shadow. She watched as both Toshi and Kelarth continued to argue, was this normal for the two? Her ears lowered getting slightly annoyed, “Can I just add one more thing? Toshi did help with the capture of Thena, even taking away her ability to make portals, and took heavy damage from her. That doesn't sounds like a spy to me, unless these two are great performers to trick us”.
She silently hoped that her addition would cause any more trouble. She watched Kema, worried about all this affected him, having to be put in the middle of this and far away from home. Frowning she looked at the window wondering how long it would be before the sun would go down.
“I had no idea such things were going on” Lelani said with a little surprise in her voice, ‘Maybe I should have returned sooner..’ she was mentally kicking herself. “What is it exactly that she wants? And what is she capable to cause so much chaos in both realms?” her eyes mixed with both concern and anger.
Rin watched Zanes hands as he worked, “well, what happens if she finds this other vampire? Then you can just stay here with raider and his creepy pals” he quickly looked around for the other plush animals, spotting what looked like Sloth the bear on the edge of the bed sleeping in their direction, ‘that's not creepy...when the hell did it get in here?’.
Shuddering he looked back to Zane, “what if you did some training? Make it so she can't boss you around without a fight? Though you might be training alone because Raider sure doesn't look the type to fight or do any sort of training…” he closed his eyes and tilted his head, trying to imagine raider with some sort of muscular figure.

“We thought you both were asleep,” Kage replied moving to sit on the floor, it’s tail moved back and forth lazily. “It was this creature’s idea to barge in…”
Shaking its head, Blinky looked to Syn and turned its head to the side, “We didn’t wake you did we?” Rubbing its head still it smiled, “Brought you two a snack, wasn’t sure if you would need it or not..”
Stirring a little next to Syn, Ishimu opened an eye seeing the daylight try to break through the curtain he moaned softly. Releasing Syn’s arm, he pulled the covers over his head not quite ready to get up. The soft whispering of Kage and Blinky made him lift the covers to look at Syn. “Is something wrong?” He didn’t expect to see Syn awake until it was closer to nightfall.
Kage’s tail flicked and it looked to Blinky, it had hoped that they wouldn’t have woken up anyone. Yellow eyes looked back to Syn, “I’m sorry it wasn’t our intent on waking you…”
“The snack may help you rest, feeling a little full is better than sleeping on an empty stomach,” Blinky pointed out hopefully, not wanting Syn or Ishimu mad at them.
The shadow creature gave a small smile as it made itself more comfortable and looked around the room to the other three. It seemed like some of the tension had disappeared from whatever Nights had told them. Hoping for a quitter time it yawned and rested it’s head on Nights’ hand.
“I’m sorry,” Kelarth mumbled moving slightly away from Nights hearing the tone in her voice. He didn’t wish to make her angry on top of Shade’s anger as well if he caused an issue. A small frown came to his lips as he glanced towards Toshi. But the vampire didn’t seem to care either way. ‘Hopefully nightfall comes soon so these two can go back home…’
Toshi shook his head glancing to Kelarth who still wasn’t comfortable. Letting out a soft sight he looked back towards Nights with a small smile. ‘She didn’t have to say that…’ shaking his head he looked to Kema who had their eyes closed once more, ‘When will Shade wake up and start asking Kema questions…’ Forcing himself to relax until nightfall, Toshi slid down to the floor and sat down. He put his head onto the door frame as he watched the shadow creature relax on Nights.
“When Blinky and Shade first arrived to the shadow realm, she had taken over the palace. Then tried to see where Shade stood as far as blood went, to see if he how he had changed. I’m sure over the years it had spread to the shadow realm on how Shade is now. So in forcing it, she now knows that Shade isn’t like a normal vampire. Well what she would call a normal vampire..” S.C. tried to explain rubbing its head, “When Shade was able to get her out of the palace, she had fled. At first we didn’t know where she had even gone, then we discovered she is now here…”
“I don’t really want to help her,” Zane said glancing to him as he then started to work on the fabric once more. “The vampire she is after is just another kid, besides it has nothing to really do with me.” Looking towards the bed, he noticed the plush under it and laughed a little, ‘It really can sleep just about anywhere..’ Zane then looked back towards Rin with a small frown, “What makes you so sure Storm wouldn’t toss you to the side once he finds his vampire that he’s been wanting revenge on for so long? What comes after all that anger is gone?”
Frowning Storm was tempted to move to show he was up, but curiosity got to him as he was curious on to what Rin would reply. ‘I wouldn’t toss him aside, but we just met so I don’t think Rin would know that just yet,’ Storm frowned as he remembered the promise he had made to Rin, ‘I suppose with my revenge gone, there would be no reason to not focus on Rin’s past. I’m sure it’s bothering him that he can’t remember things.’ Keeping his eyes closed he tried to keep his breathing steady as if he were really asleep.
The thought of nowhere to go to had came to him many times before Rin came into his life. He had thought on returning to the mountains where his pack once was, but thought it would be too painful to return. Now with Rin, he wasn’t sure on where he would finally be able to settle down. ‘Wherever we are both happy I suppose,’ smiling a little he made himself a little more comfortable wondering if he could fall back asleep once he had heard Rin’s answer.
Zane thought a little on what Rin had said, about learning how to fight and shook his head. "Wouldn't that make me more of a target for werewolves like him?" He gestured towards Storm and looked back to the fabric as he strung the needle through, "Besides from what I've heard, even vampires seem to fight each other. I rather not be a target.." Frowning he looked to Rin, knowing it wasn't a bad idea to fight. But the thought of being targeted wasn't something he would ever look forward to.

“Nah, I usually don't sleep for too long” Syn said as he sat up in bed, now that Ishimu was no longer holding onto his arm. He did feel bad if it was their talking that woke him up. Looking to the redhead he smiled a little, “Sleep well? Or are you still tired? They also brought us,.” he looked at the bedside table and picked up what they brought them, “blood...packs?” he looked at both Kage and Blinky confused. “Do I even want to know where you got these?..”
Nights felt bad seeing the way Kelarth moved away. She lowered her head closing her eyes and began to gently pet the shadows head in her hand, fighting back a yawn of her own. She felt herself dozing off but fought it back worrying that a fight would break out between them. Her pets were getting slower and slower until sleep won. She fell asleep, knees hugged close to her with the little shadow in her lap.
“So she wants the palace?” Leilani asked slightly confused. How could Shades people just allow her to do as she pleased?” She wondered in the back of her mind if someone was doing the same in her absence, it was her own fault for not returning if that was the case.
“What kind of harm could she do here? I doubt she has the kind of power over others like she did back in the shadow realm” This Thena person was a puzzle, and a dangerous one it sounded. ‘Maybe I should ask Dan if he knows any information, or the twins, they have connections back home’
“Well there's still a chance that she find this other kid” Rin said with a small frown matching Zane's. “As for storm,” he looked toward the bed where he was sleeping, “I don't think hes that type, and even if he tried he can't get rid of me that fast, I did say I was going to be the first member in his new pack” he laughed. He looked back to Zane, a smile now on his face, “I've learned, albeit a bit late, that after all that anger, is a kinda rebirth, kinda how you are with Raider, starting over in some sorts” his tail slowly swayed side to side on the floor.
“Plus I just had an odd dream that I feel like only him and one other person could answer, but I don't know she she is” his ears lowered mentioning the later part.
“I still say you cheated!” Envy’s voice boomed as the two plushes walked through the front door, dragging what seemed to be a middle aged man, either unconscious or a fresh dead body.
Wrath giggled and flew up to Raider and perched themselves on his shoulder, “I told you I could do it without flying” it giggled.
Envy growled and pulled the man into the house completely before it closed the door, “you had me distracted, Raider!” it barked getting the necromancers full attention, “Wrath wanted to bring Zane a child, as in a little girl!”
Raider narrowed his eyes at the grinning cat plush, “Wrath, you know not to go after kids” Raider removed them from his shoulder and placed it on the floor.
Wrath crossed its arms “she called me ugly, she had it coming” it said annoyedly.
“But Wrath you are ugly” Envy said bluntly making its way into raiders lap.
“I am demonic!” it said defensively.
Lust and Pride, finishing up cleaning up the mess, looked at each other and grinned, “what's the difference?” they both said together before bursting out into laughter.
Raider shook his head and looked to Pride at his side, “Can you please tell Zane that Wrath and Envy brought him someone?”
The lioness nodded and walked to the room where it saw him last enter. Pushing the door open wider it saw Zane sitting in the corner with Rin sitting in front of them talking. It smiled before cleaning its throat, “Zane, Wrath and Envy brought you someone”
Rin's ears perked up as he looked back to the lion plush, “I guess we can continue this conversation once you feed” he looked back to Zane and smiled, “alright?”

“Umm…” Blinky stammered and shifted awkwardly, “You may not want to know..”
Kage turned its head to the side as it watched Blinky confused, “What do you mean?’
“Well it’s not like we can walk up to a human and ask for blood,” Blinky said rubbing its head, it then looked to Syn, “Think of it this way. Many people donate blood, some is bound to go bad before being used. So think of it as them helping those who don’t want to bite humans.”
Sitting up Ishimu looked from Blinky then to Syn. Taking the bag from Syn he smiled a little, “At least we have a snack while we wait for nightfall. Does it matter where it came from?” Ishimu frowned a little as he looked back towards Blinky and Kage, “Thanks you two, we’ll hunt tonight so we don’t have to worry about feeding during the day.”
“Looks like sleeping finally won…” Toshi laughed a little as he got to his feet and moved into the room. Walking to Nights, he ignored Kelarth and the shadow creature who were watching him with great caution. He sighing he looked to Kelarth, “I’m just moving her to Shade’s room where she might be a little more comfortable. With her sleeping here the way she is will cause aching tired muscles. If Thena breaks free it wouldn’t be good to have muscle cramps, besides I still have Kema’s gloves on.”
“I still don’t like it,” Kelarth mumbled watching Toshi take Nights into his arms and head out of the room with her. He let out a small growl, watching the door way.
“Let him go Kelarth,” Kema looked from the doorway to Kelarth now that they were alone. “Toshi had no choice in helping Thena, just as others didn’t have much choice either.” Pointing to his temple, Kema shrugged, “I think any vampire would do as she asked. Most had died when they refused her.”
“Why are you telling me this?” Kelarth crossed his arms and glanced to Kema.
“Because when Thena does get free, it won’t be just Shade that she is after. You two need to work things out, and I suggest you do it while the two of them are asleep,” Kema’s eyes narrowed as he looked into Kelarth’s eyes, seeing the confusion he let out a soft sigh. Knowing the werewolf had no idea of what Thena may have planned just yet. “Yes Thena will get free this I’m certain on. It’s why we need to trust now before we face her.”
“You sure? But the assassins-”
“They are strong I’m sure if they were fighting fit. But from what I’ve heard, they are not,” Kema shook his head, “I hope they are both well rested..”
Toshi walked into the room with Nights and looked to the sleeping prince on the bed. The bed seemed too small for the both of them to fit. Frowning he tried to get Shade to move over with his arm only to cause them to roll over and face him. Toshi froze seeing the red eyes fixate on Nights in his arms. “It’s not what you think hon-”
“Put her on the bed,” moving off the bed he stretched and glanced to Toshi, “You seem more tense than usual, something happen?”
Placing Nights onto the bed, Toshi moved the covers over her. The shadow creature laid on the pillow close to Nights’ head, its yellow eyes looked to him and Shade with a small smile. “I didn’t mean to wake you..” Moving to the door to leave, but the purple haired vampire stood in his way. Crossing his arms he let out a soft sigh, he didn’t wish to wake Nights as she seemed just as tired as Shade was.
“It’s Kelarth, it’s nothing I can’t handle,” Toshi replied with a small shrug, “I’ll be fine.” Smiling to reassure the vampire before him, “Now rest with your girlfriend. Kema said you would need as much rest as you can get.”
“You two better not kill each other,” Shade warned walking back to the bed. Sitting on the edge he looked back to Toshi, “Any issues you wake me up, got it?” When Toshi nodded he moved Nights closer to the wall and laid in the bed, when he looked back to the vampire. They were gone. ‘Hopefully they won’t fight,’ Shade then looked to the sleeping Nights next to him. Moving a strand of hair from her face he then laid his head on the pillow and closed his eyes. The shadow creature had moved to Nights’ shoulder, making itself comfortable.
“Yes I’m afraid,” the shadow creature looked to the ground, “I’m sure it’s my fault for all this…” Closing its yellow eyes, it pondered before continuing, “When Shade first came to this world, I waited a few days before faking the princes’ death to make sure he’d stay safe. I don’t even think Shade knows of it. When he was finally ready to return to the palace it looked like a bloodbath of soldiers on the front steps. My guess they still hung on to Shade being alive and did all they could…”
“Those who feared her did what they had to, to live,” Blinky frowned looking to Leilani, “As we speak one trusted knight is watching the castle while we deal with Thena.”
‘So much for quiet,’ Storm thought hearing the commotion in the hall. It wasn’t long after that the door opened and a plush called to Zane. Staying still he could hear Zane start to move.
“Alright,” he smiled placing what he was working on onto the floor and petted Rin before heading to the door. Stopping as he took the door’s handle he smiled to the lion plush, “Thanks for letting me know.” Then he headed out into the hall to see Raider still sitting on the empty black box and the plushes around him.
Stopping jus behind Raider, he wondered if he had missed something. “Hey…” he glanced to Raider, and in doing so noticed to human on the floor for the first time. He frowned at the site as they appeared to be dead, “Are they dead?”
When he was sure that Zane had left, Storm sat up and ran a hand through his hair. ‘I don’t think I was asleep for long..’ Looking around for Rin, he spotted the plush on the floor, “Are you alright Rin?”

“The way you make it sound is that this blood is going to expire on us” Syn said grimly, the thought of blood expiring never crossed his mind that that could actually be a thing. “I guess we have to be grateful for what we have” he smiled to the two shadows “thanks guys”
Syn picked up the second blood pack and looked it over, “so, did we miss anything while we slept? Anymore crazy visitors?” Syn bit into the bag and started to drink from it, reminding him of one of those juice pouches he had as a child.
Once on the bed Nights moved closer to the familiar scent that was Shade.
“You can't blame yourself, you didn't know any of this would happen” Leilani frownd. “It sounds like you guys went through so much…” she reached over at gently rubbed the side of SC’s face with the back of her hand.
She looked around at their surroundings and walked off of the path through the bushes and trees until it opened up onto a small cleared out area with a large rock in the center surrounded by lush green grass and part of a river just off in the distance. Half of the area was covered in shade from the trees surrounding the quiet space.
Shrugging off her bag she sat it down beside the rock and sat herself in the shadier side of the rock, unsure if SC was ok with sunlight. “But on the bright side you now have more allies,” she smiled, “I know with my current limited resources I can't offer much but you have myself, Aku, Akuma and i'm pretty sure my boys will be more than happy to help”
“That depends,” wrath looked up to the young vampire, “do you want them dead? Right now there paralyzed but that can change quickly” it giggled.
Envy shook its head, “I sometimes wonder why its like this and then i remember, ‘oh yeah, Wraths a demon’ “ it sighed and tooks ist place on Raiders shoulder.
“Hey, if it wasn't for me you'd still be dead” Wrath glared at the dog plush. Envy waved it off.
“I think out of all of you, only you two fight this much” Raider sighed.
“They start it all!” both Envy and Wrath said pointing at each other.
Rins ears perked up hearing Storms voice, “your up!” he quickly got to his feet and jumped back onto the bed stopping in front of the male. “I hope we didn't wake you up” his ears lowered slightly, something obviously on his mind.
“Hey...do you remember a small boy with light blue hair with eyes to match? Had an older sister with white hair and golden eyes?” he wasn't sure if he wanted him to remember, but he knew what his dream meant and some things needed to be said,

While listening to the shadow creature try to explain that the blood they had, wasn’t expired and how it meant human blood in general could go bad. Ishimu’s mind had wandered to the new door that Holley had replaced when the assassins had came and tore it down while in search of one of their own.’I wonder how the fairy is doing…’ closing his eyes he sucked on the bag slowly.
Shaking his head, there was no way in telling what she was up to or how she was doing until nightfall. ‘What to do until then?’ Seemed to be the big question, he hadn’t seen the vampire that had been after him in sometime. ‘It’ll only be a matter of time before she comes I’m sure…’ Opening his eyes he glanced to the shadow panther that had been quiet for sometime. It flicked it’s tail as it watching the little shadow creature next to it. “Your not in trouble you know, I’m sure if you hadn’t came in the hunger or the boredom would have woken one of us up,” he laughed a little as he looked towards the window a little sadly.
Blinky gave a small smile, “It’ll still be sometime before dark…” It looked towards Syn, curious on what they could do to help the two. One definitely seemed more edgy than normal, it crossed it’s arms in thought.
Waiting for Toshi to return, Kelarth had moved to the opposite wall of Kema. His eyes were closed as he thought on how to approach the vampire. A brown wolf ear twitched and his head turned towards the doorway. “Toshi, come join us,” he called knowing the vampire was close to the doorway. The vampire had stepped into the doorway, their grey eyes narrowed in suspicion. “Truce remember?” Putting his hands up to show he had meant it.
Grey eyes then looked to Kema who had been watching the two of them. Giving a small shrug he glanced to Kelarth before making his way into the room, and moving to the wall closest to the door. He didn’t fully trust the brown haired male but maybe with Kema in the room it might go smoothly. Focusing on Kelarth, Toshi motioned for him to continue.
“Perhaps I had jumped to conclusions,” Kelarth frowned seeing the scowl on the vampire’s face.
“Perhaps? You have made more accusations than I-”
“Toshi, hear him out,” Kema warned keeping his voice calm he looked to Kelarth, “Please continue.”
“I want to say sorry,” Kelarth watched as the vampire shrugged it off.
“Do you mean it? Or is it just another ploy of yours to get me close and then attack me while my guard is down?”
“No ploy and forever truce among us,” Kelarth replied with a small frown, he could understand the vampire’s skepticism as they had fought many times in the past. Both of them using dirty tricks against the other.
Toshi gave a small shrug once more, “Trust isn’t won in one day or night.”
“We have all the time in the world, well kind of,” getting to his feet with a small laugh, Kelarth then walked over to Toshi and held out his hand, “To a new friendship?”
“How about to a new beginning?” Kema chimed in, glad to see things might turn around for the two.
Toshi nodded and clasped the extended hand, “I agree with Kema.”
“Of course you would,” brown eyes rolled to Kema as a sly smile came to the edge of his lips, “Now can you tell us what is going on?”
“Your boys?” S.C.’s ears twitched as it then looked up from the beautiful surroundings confused. It had been engulfed in the landscape that it wasn’t too sure if it had really heard correctly, “Who are Akuma and Aku?” Crossing its arms it frowned as it tried to figure out the meaning behind her boys. But the only logic it could think of was that Leilani must have remarried at some point, but if that was true would that make them Nights’ brothers? “Are they relatives?” Not wishing to just come out and ask the question, as it was not really any of its business on if she had moved on or not.
Zane frowned and shook his head, “No but you had killed the last one..” Shivering at the thought he decided it best to try and move on from the first feeding he had here. His eyes then fell away from Wrath and Envy to the paralyzed body laying on the floor. Walking to the male’s side, he then sat down beside them, pondering on where he should bite, too high would be an issue with other humans, and too low other humans could still see it. Frowning he wondered if it was low that people would think it a snake bite than a vampire.
Still feeling embarrassed when he fed from someone with an audience, even when he was with Lenore he never got used to her staring at him. Taking the arm closest to him, he moved so his back was to Raider and the others. Holding the forearm to his lips he then bit down and began to drink, trying hard to ignore the hot iron taste. ‘I wonder if this gets any easier…’ closing his eyes he tried not to think on it too much.
“No it wasn’t the you who had woken me, it was the racket in the hallway,” putting a hand to Rin’s head, a small smile touched his lips, but soon faded at the mention of a light blue haired boy and his older sister. “It was long ago, but I vaguely remember...wait how would you know of him and his sister?”
‘Just what kind of magic is this? Is the puppet master pulling strings with me?’ Storm’s blue eyes narrowed as he looked to the door, he wasn’t amused if the necromancer somehow played with memories, or could read them. ‘Just whose spirit is inside this plush dog?’
Picking up Rin, he headed to the semi closed door and opened it. Looking to the necromancer who was still sitting on an odd strange black box. HIs blue eyes narrowed, “How the hell does this soft thing know of two people I know. You better not be playing a prank.” Holding Rin out towards Raider, he was tempted to throw the plush at him.
Hearing the commotion behind him, and hearing the werewolf’s voice. Zane gulped what he had in his mouth before quickly licking the wound and tossing the arm he had fed on away from him. Whipping the blood on his lips with a sleeve he moved away from the body and turned towards Storm and the necromancer, a little confused on what was going on.
“What’s going on?” Zane asked as he looked to the plush that dangled towards Raider.
“Don’t play innocent, I am the only one here who knows what this plush had said. So someone here has to be playing a trick,” Storm’s eyes fell to Zane, “And it better not be your doing.”
“Yes I would love to piss of a vampire hunting werewolf when I wish to stay alive,” Zane said with sarcasm to his voice, “Rin is pretty loyal to you, I doubt it would want to make you mad on purpose.” Crossing his arms he glared at Storm, ‘Doesn’t realize what he has, even if it is something so small as Rin..’
“I hope Rin doesn’t join your pack after treating it this way.”
Red eyes looked to the window, ‘When night falls one will fall.’ Baring her fangs, Lenore moved away from the window to find a place to rest. ‘This is far from over little wolf and the vampire that had helped Thena is already dead so I don’t have to worry about him,’ laughing to herself, Lenore closed her eyes forcing herself to try and rest, while trying to be alert in her new surroundings.
There was a knock on the door causing the two occupants to jump and look to each other before looking to the door. Stepping away from his work, Koray slowly opened the door to see a reddish brown haired male with grey blue eyes stand in the doorway. Their hand was on a young girl’s shoulder, holding them firmly so they couldn’t run off.
“Aria!” Koray quickly moved out of the way and ushered the alpha and the young girl into their workshop.
On hearing their daughter’s name, Samara stopped what she was doing and ran towards Aria. Putting her arms around her in a tight hug. “How could you leave and not tell anyone?” Pulling away she looked to their grey green eyes. “Please don’t scare us like that again.”
“Thank you for bringing her back safely,” Koray glanced to Samara and Aria before looking back to the worn out leader of their pack.
“Just part of keeping this pack safe,” Fay replied with a small shrug as he put a hand on the door and looked to Koray, “I’ll be by later, if you need anything else just let us know.” Stifling a yawn he then headed out of the black smith and headed towards home. ‘Hopefully Kenia can manage until I’m well rested..’
“I can’t stay behind these walls forever,” Aria mumbled when Fay had left and Samara finally released her from the embrace. Ignoring the two she looked to the dirty soot floor as she made her way towards the door that lead inside.
When Aria was safe inside, Koray looked to his wife with a small smile, “She is right you know…”
“I am well aware, now help me get this ready for Fay or I’ll let you explain why it wasn’t ready for delivery,” Samara glared at him before getting back to work.

“I guess we have no choice but to wait until it gets dark, or at least really shadowy from the Setting Sun, then it's off to see your mom,” Syn said continuing to suck on the blood pack squeezing the pack so he could get more out of it. “Until then…” He tilted his head toward the ceiling and tried to think of some things up four them to do in the meantime, but was there for two vampires and two Shadow creatures to do? It's not like he had games for them to play, especially since one of them happened to be a cat.
“I got nothing…” he said defeat. He was tempted to call Balgrim and the gang over to entertain them but wasn't sure his apartment could survive another night of chaos. Then it came to him, “we could continue 21 Questions, though I'm not sure what number we're up to..“ he looked at Ishimu smiling.
“What I meant by my boys are my two sons, I was pregnant with twins when the massacre happened, but I didn't know the time it all went down”. Leilani put a hand on her stomach in remembrance, “ Hunter and Archer are their names, both are 18 now and are traveling on their own, but we talk from time to time using the mirror like Dan and I were earlier” She patted her bag lightly showing where her mirror was.
“As for Aku and Akuma, Bastion trained them in the shadow realm and had them swear to look out for me or something were to happen to him” she sighed was smiling, “I couldn't get rid of them if I tried” she laughed slightly.
Leilani looked at the sky and saw that the sun was beginning to set, “my, how the time passes shall we head back? I have confidence Aku, Akuma and Dan have found the missing pack members by now unless,” she slid off of the rock she was sitting on, “you have other things to attend to?” she looked at SC with her head tilted slightly.
Raider finished stitching up gluttony as Zane fed on the person Wrath and Envy brought in, making a mental note to have them dispose of the person once he and Zane were out hunting for more pray for him to feed on.
He jumped when Storm came storming in, looking like he was threatening to throw Rin at him, “I assure you I have no clue what you're talking about“ he said looking up at the werewolf.
The plushies stood in between them, some staying close to Zane, even Sloth was among them, sprawled out on the floor sleeping, but was with them.
“Storm wait!” Rin said as he struggled to get out of his strong grip, ”I don't think this is Raiders doing and it's definitely not Zane's doing” He looked at Storm with pleading eyes, a soft whimper coming from the plush.
“Are you really saying the Rin’s previous soul knew you before dying and coming here?” Raider put a hand on his chin tilting his head, “it may be possible that it might be the person you once knew or the soul itself might be confused”
“I’m not!” Rin shouted. “I saw Storm in my dreams, I was called another name I don't remember but I do know I was called Rin as well…” his ears lowered. “Maybe I should have kept my mouth shut until I got all my memories back but...I do remember you, a man named Eclipse and a girl with white hair and golden eyes…” he began to whimper more, “I'm sorry Storm…” he covered his face with his paws.
Raider sighed, “it seems it may take Rin, or whoever the soul is, time to regain all his memories. I don't think he meant to hurt you” he assumed the werewolf was in some way hurt by the way he was acting, “I'm sure this could be resolved once he gets all his memories back”. Raider wanted to reach out and pet the upset plush but decided against it, only Storm or regaining all its memories would be able to calm the confused soul. ‘is it possible that I labeled the soul wrong? Or is it truly confused?’.
Pride watched on concerned about the situation.

“Twenty questions?” Turning its head to the side confused, yellow eyes looked from one to the other, “was there somewhere you had needed to go?”
“No not really,” Ishimu replied quickly, “It's not too important to use the portals…”
Blinky frowned a little hurt, “You don't like pur portals?”
“Its not that, it just seems we shouldn't rely on them all the time. This isn't really a emergency so we thought to walk,” Ishimu watched Blinky and Kaze. The shadow cat had flicked its tail not completely convinced and the shadow creature had given him a small shrug.
“If you say so..” Blinky looked to Syn, “So what's twenty questions and how do we play?”
The commotion from kelarths adventure had died down. The streets were not as loud with activity as the sun slowly started to set. Brown eyes glanced to the window curiously before looking back to Kema. The Melrach hadn’t said a word on Thena, not anything helpful anyway. With a low growl Kelarth got to his feet and looked outside. Shadows from buildings, cars, and trees, had slowly gotten longer or wider he then looked over his shoulder towards the resting vampire. “Do you think we should wake them?”
“Wake the lord of vampires, that sounds a little dangerous,” Toshi replied looking to the shadow creature who blinked at them. “If anything you should be outside making sure we are safe,” glancing to the werewolf who turned back to face them, “Shade and Nights are still sleeping, if anyone were to approach it would be you or Kema to deal with until the sun is fully down.”
Kelarth frowned before slowly nodding, “Alright, but at least call me when they are up.” Changing into his wolf form, Kelarth then jumped out the window. Landing on all four paws with grace, he then bent down sniffing the air and grass. With no sign of any enemies Kelarth slowly headed around the house trying to be stealthy as possible as to not alarm the humans again.
Red eyes with a hint of green had been watching the sleeping woman next to him. Tucking a stray white hair out of their face and tucked it gently behind their ear. Head resting on an arm, his mind was elsewhere lost in a daze. Shaking off his thoughts he slowly sat up careful not to wake the woman next to him.
Walking to the window he was careful not to let the light touch him as he looked outside. ‘Nearly time, something tells me hell may break loose soon,’ Shade’s eyes narrowed as he felt uneasy but didn’t understand why. Letting the curtain fall, he moved back to the bed and sat down deciding to wait for for nights before seeing what Kema had found out on Thena.
Frowning at the mention of Dan, the shadow creature shook its head. “The sun is setting so I have plenty of time before getting back, at least until sunrise.” Its ears lowered a little as it glanced up at Leilanni with a small smile, “I did enjoy our time though, thank you.”
S.C. was sure it wouldn’t see her again until maybe much later when the danger had passed. ‘I could return to Moon Pass, see how things are there. Then I won't have to be around moody black wolf, and his evil looks…’ Shaking his head he glanced around them, unsure of the way they had came.
Slowly getting to his feet so he wouldn’t harm the plush that had gathered around him. Carefully stepping over and around them as he glared at the werewolf. Cautiously he walked over to the white-haired werewolf and looked to Rin with a small smile. “I’m going to take you now,” giving the plush fair warning as he picked it up and gently put it on his head before glaring at the werewolf. Storm had watched him carefully place the plush on his head and was a bit surprised that the werewolf had let him take Rin.
Balling up one hand, while the other kept Rin from falling, Zane hit Storm hard in their jaw. Sending the werewolf staggering towards the wall close to the bedroom door. Icy blue eyes glared at him as a low growl escaped their throat, he half expected the werewolf to jump him, but they remained where they had stumbled. Though his eyes flashed to Raider before looking back towards him. "Raider made Rin help you, I doubt Raider has much control of what soul goes into the plush he creates. I'm sure neither one can really play with what the soul remembers as well. Rin is loyal to you, why would it purposely harm or hurt you?"
Slowly Zane backed away from the werewolf, sure that they would attack him for hitting them. He didn't stop until he had reached the wall closest to Raider and sat down, gently petting Rin. "Sorry for picking you up, are you alright?"
Rubbing his jaw he growled once again at Zane, 'If Raider wasn't here...' He watched the young vampire as they moved back towards the necromancer with Rin still on their head. "When it's safe for the vampires to roam, I'll be heading out," he had glanced towards Raider before slowly moving into the bedroom he had come out of, closing the door to a crack.
It had taken everything he had not to pounce on Zane for hitting him if Raider wasn't there along with the plush he was sure he would have harmed the boy. Glancing to the curtain and watching the light from behind it try to peek through, Storm walked towards it and peeked out to see just how far the sun had left to set. A low growl escaped his throat in frustration, 'Two hours at least until the vampires will be on the move again...'
Letting the curtain fall back down, he made his way to the bed and laid down. Blue eyes stared up at the ceiling, thinking on what Zane and Raider had said. 'Confused? No, I'm sure Rin was telling the truth, but if that is the case who is he?' Closing his eyes he frowned, 'Raider doesn't seem to know for sure on Rin's memories. If that is the case, Zane would be right...'
Feeling terrible, and confused he rolled to where he faced the wall. Pulling the covers over himself, he attempted to rest for a few hours before the hunt would begin. 'I may be hunting alone..'
Pacing on a rooftop, brown eyes narrowed at the streets below. Frowning behind her mask as she crossed her arms underneath her yellow gold cloak in frustration. Looking towards the setting sun, she knew she was running out of time, gritting her teeth she started to move once again. ‘How am I to do this?’ taking a slow deep breath and letting it out through her lips she slowed down. Stopping on a rooftop, Fang looked around and noticed the park where the battle had taken place. The sun would be down by the time she found who she had sought. ‘There is no choice but to back track,’ cautiously she worked her way towards the park, keeping out of site the best she could. So far no humans seemed to be around, letting a small smile form she made her way to the clearing and looked around. There wasn’t much evidence of the battle ever happening, as she knelt down onto one knee examining the ground.
‘Where did they go?’ The scent Fang had hopped to follow had vanished while another still lingered heading off towards the city. The scent of another werewolf she didn’t know. ‘Great now where should I go?’
Closing her eyes in thought on Lancer’s departing words, she had never seen Lancer show any kind of emotion. The blue assassin’s eyes had showed worried mixed with fear, Lancer had chosen for her to seek help the assassin didn’t say why it had to be her. Fang already knew, so the vampire they had captured wouldn’t harm her further in their escape. Frustrated with the mix of emotions on what to do now that the one she had hoped to find was nowhere to be traced. Fang looked towards the lingering scent of the other werewolf, ‘Not the one I had wanted to find, but maybe they can point me in the right direction.’ With small hope, Fang took off following the strange werewolf scent.
The trail was hard to follow in the open, every few paces Fang had dropped down into the ally to refind the scent before returning to the rooftops. Stopping in an alley Fang knelt down glancing around as she worked on finding the scent once more. Frowning behind her mask as a new scent had mingled with the werewolf, ‘Two of them now?’ Returning to the rooftop she looked around to where the scent could be leading her, brown eyes fell to an old what appeared to be a forgotten home. No one passed near it, or glanced at it. ‘I don’t have much of a choice..’ dropping down into an alley, hiding in the buildings slow descending shadow.
With hesitated steps she slowly approached the home, and froze as another scent mingled with the other two she had followed. ‘Three? I can easily handle two, but three? What if I followed them to their pack?’ Fear gripped her as she felt more unease, already injured she didn’t wish to put herself into further risk.
Slipping into the alley between the house and another building, Fang crouched in the shadows. Contemplating on what she should do. Lancer was counting on reinforcements, but it would be too late. She glanced up at the slowly darkening sky in frustration, ‘What to do…’

“I don't think we’ll be going that far right?” Syn said looking at Ishimu. He wasn't actually sure how far his mother's place was compared to his own home, if it was it would be some nice alone time with Ishimu, maybe they could go over some things one more time just in case his mother questioned them, he also remembered he would definitely have to change, no black.
“Twenty one questions is basically a game people play to get to know each other” he re-directed his attention to Blinky, “so for instance, Blinky, how old would you say you are? And you would answer, though you don't have to answer that one if you want, but it goes on from there”
Nights moved closer to Shade as he sat on the bed, missing his presence next her her. She opened her eyes slightly looking up at him, smiling faintly, “I’ll be up in a second, I’m sorry love”. She stretched for a moment before curling around him.
Leilani smiled and rubbed its head once again, “I enjoyed our time too. Let's hope we cross paths soon, hopefully with your young prince”.
She watched the shadow look around them looking a little lost, “I could take you back to where we met if you would like? Spend a little more time until we part ways?” she laughed, realizing that they were quite far away from Moon Pass.
Some of the plushes let out a gasp after just witnessing Zane punch Storm.
“Well, kids got guts” Wrath muttered breaking the silence between them.
Rin stared at the door Storm went though, desperately wanting to follow him and try to make it up to him, but he would give him his space, for now.
“When I said training I didn’t mean on storm” he half joked, worry in his tone as he used all of his strength not to chase after the werewolf, thankful that Zane was holding him.
Raider watched the wolf plush, his mind running at a miles pace a second as he thought what could be making it act up like this, none of his other plushes have acted this way, only Wrath but that was because it had a special bond with him, “maybe that's it….” he muttered.
Wrath look up at Raider, noticing that he had realized something, “figured out what's wrong with the defect?” it pointed up at Rin who earned a glare from the wolf plush.
“Possibly...it might be a case like you and I” Raider stood up from sitting on the floor and took Rin from Zane, “just a moment Zane” and turned Rin on his back looking at the underside of the plush.
“What the hell?! Put me down!” Rin didn't know what Raider was doing but he was sure he didn't like it.
“It's possible...but I think the blood I took from Storm to bind you to him might be messing with the rate of your memories coming back? Since you said you knew him previous to this…” he tapped Rins check where he could feel the small piece of leather that mad Rin, Rin.
“Oh its that annoying factor” Wrath grumbled, “I was confused for days and even remember attacking you once” it giggled.
Raider shot the giggling plush an annoyed look before looking back to Rin, “your memories are just rushing back because of your bond with Storm instead of its natural slow pace where it would be easier to handle”
“Great….” Rin sighed, ‘just what I need…’
Raider turned Rin back over and smiled, “but that only means you'll regain your memories sooner than the others. Just be thankful your memories aren't be suppressed” he said looking towards Lust. Rin tilted his head looking at it as well.
“Well then, Zane, do you think you're satisfied enough that we can go out hunting once night falls?” Raider smiled to him, wanting to get back on track to what they were going to do before the whole punch incident.
“If your done with the human we can dispose of him before you guys go out, or maybe after, we don't know yet” Envy said poking the unconscious human on the floor.

“Oh, maybe we should have done that Kage,” Blinky looked to the shadow cat with a sharp toothed grin, “Since these two won't be needing us, we can play a game.” It jumped to its feet excitedly as it then looked back to the other two curiously.
Kage looked to Ishimu, “I guess we can stay here unless needed..”
“Masters don’t always need their helpers,” Blinky chimed in patting the shadow cat’s paw, it then turned its head to the side, “You will stay safe, right?”
“Of course, it's not like,” Ishimu cut himself off before rewording, “Syn and I will be fine.” He looked to Syn with a small smile, “It’ll be a bit of a walk but it shouldn’t be too bad.”
“Come on big kitty, let's leave these two to talk,” Blinky tugged the shadow cat’s tail playfully before darting out of the room. Kage looked to the two on the bed before slowly turning to leave, following Blinky to the living room.
When the two were gone Ishimu looked to Syn, “Sorry I know you don’t like the tunnels, and I can’t really blame you.” He put a hand on his stomach thinking about the tunnels, it was something he wasn’t sure he’d ever get to used. “I hope walking will be alright.”
“You’re fine love,” Shade laughed as he ran his fingers through her hair, “There is no rush.” Watching Nights curl up once more closer to him, Shade decided not to move until Nights was ready.
Laying next to nights, Shade put an arm around her waist. Putting an arm around her waist. Putting his head close to hers, he closed his eyes listening to the silence around them. Their didn't seem to be any fighting with the werewolf and vampire. Letting himself relax, he decided to focus on Nights sleepy breaths.
“I like the idea, I don’t wish to get lost,” SC frowned at the thought and looked around for anything familiar. “I bet Halla is worried, I wonder if Dan told her I’d be with you or if he had just took off…” Glancing to the darkening sky it smiled a little, “Do you think we will run into her?”
It then glanced back to Leilani turning its head to the side, “What do you do now? I mean since you don’t have a pack around, doesn’t it get lonely?” SC’s ears lowered at the thought of being alone.
“So what does that mean for Ren? It almost sounds like it had confused Wrath,”Zane frowned watching Raider with Ren curiously, “Yeah, I think so just a little nervous.” He glanced to Envy who was poking the body, “How do you dispose of them?” When he said the question, he regretted it not sure he really wanted to know. Even if they were once alive they had seen too much to let live ‘What happens when too many disappear from the area..’
The breeze came threw the busted window, the curtain moved and with it brought new scent into the room. Storm’s eyes narrowed as he sat up, the scent wasn't something that smelled familiar. Getting to his feet he watched the window closely, “Who is there?” His voice came out as a low growl not wanting the others to come into the room.
In a flash standing before him stood a figure with dried blood staining their yellow cloak. The white mask unnerved him, blue eyes narrowed when the figure hasn't responded. “What are you? You smell like a wolf but that can't be right.”
‘Did not think this through…’ Fang crossed her arms trying to think of how to speak, putting a hand to her neck. ‘Not god,’ she was certain that the werewolf wouldn't understand what she was saying. The wolf before her started to get irritated, shaking her head she decided to try a simple sign of her name. The wolf frowned before growling and storming to the semi closed door.
“Do any of you understand signing?” he sounded a tad agitated as he made sure the figure behind him didn't move.
‘This isn't good,’ Fang put a hand on her blade unsure of what was coming through the door. She glanced to the window sadly, realizing she wouldn't be able to help her two teammates. ‘I'm sorry Lancer…’

“I think with a little more travel time with them it won't be so bad, but i'm totally fine with walking tonight: Syn laughed. He hoped he didn't offend the two shadows, but the two of them needed to spend more time together to get things sorted, possibly one more run down how they met if his mother were to question them.
Throwing the blankets off of him syn stood up and stretched, raising his hands over his head, “so, do we head out once it turns night? Or wait a little?” What time was his mom expecting him again?
He noticed something blinking on his night stand, something he almost always forgot to bring with him,his cellphone. It was blinking from either a missed call or a received message. He hit the home button and saw he missed several calls and had voice mails from a flower icon. Holly. He pocketed the device, not wanting to deal with it at the moment.
Nights smiled, her eyes still closed but she felt Shade closer to her, putting his arm around her waist. “Your the best, you know that?” opening her eyes looking at the man she loved she killed him on his lips, I’m up now though, don't want to sleep the whole night away” she said with a soft laugh. She propped herself up on her arm, attempting to get up but not wanting to leave him yet, “did you get enough rest?”
“Knowing Dan Like I do he probably just took off” Leilani said with a hint of annoyance in her voice, “and for my sake I hope we don't come across her,’ she laughed, “I might not leave if i see either Hala or Vega” she smiled sadly thinking of her two friends.
She began to backtrack through the forest, taking the same path back to Dan's home, “I mostly travel with Aku and Akuma, there basically honorary werewolves in my book” she laughed, “i also help other werewolves in the realm settle some disputes, all while trying not to reveal who i really am. I just come off as an Alpha” ‘though I should go back home one day soon…’
“It's a little hard to explain myself, but think of his memories all clashing and mixing together until it's all settled into place. He needs to be calm and settle if he wants his memories back” raider said poking Rin on his nose.
The plush crossed his arms and pouted, thinking of a way to “settle” when all he wanted was his memories and to make Storm happy.
Wrath grinned at Zane, “you really wanna know what we do with the bodies?” it began to giggle at the thought.
Envy looked over the person, they still had some life to them, but wouldn't last too long, “this looks like a two plush job,” it muttered, “Greed your helping”
Greed picked up its head up, “why me!?”
“Because i said so! Besides Wrath is going to want to go with raider and Zane, even though I want to go too…” it mumbled.
“You lost so you have cleanup duty” Wrath snapped at the dog plush.
Raider sighed shaking his head. He looked upset Storm who looked like he was still upset but asking about sign language?
Pride stepped forward, “I know it, just don't expect me to sign it” it said walking over to him.
Walking into the room the lion plush tilted its head looking at Fang, “well hello there”.

“I didn’t really set a time,” a tint of red flooded to his cheeks as he looked away from Syn when they stretched. “Hopefully she won’t expect us to eat unless vampires can eat people food,” he looked back to Syn in time to see him put something into his pocket. “I’ll text her when we are on our way,” his eyes then brightened remembering Syn needed a makeover before they saw his mom, “Do we need to go to the store for anything?” He sat up on his elbow curiously. Kissing her back, Shade kept his arm around Nights waist not wishing to get up just yet. “I got enough sleep,” he replied kissing her again before resting his head on hers, ‘ When will we get this opportunity again?’ Closing his eyes he made sure not to forget this moment between them. Looking into her golden eyes. “Did you get enough sleep?” The sound of voices in the other room made him grit his teeth. ‘ Was two minutes too much to ask of them?’ Shade tried to ignore it until he caught squeaks from the shadow creature, Kelarth saying its near sundown, and Toshi stepping in saying to let them rest. A small sad smile played on his lips, “Seems our time will have to wait..” “Sounds rough but at least you have two you can count on, plus Dan would help. I would think,” SC smiled and looked on ahead starting to see some familiarities they had passed the first time. “If Hala saw you or Vega they wouldn’t want you to leave.” Yellow eyes looked to her patting her shoulder in comfort, “Hopefully things will get better, seems like everything has calmed down some…” “Kind of….Not really,” Zane mumbled conflicted if he did or didn’t want to know what happened to the bodies once he had finished them. “I’m sorry Greed and Envy, hopefully with me learning to hunt the right way you won’t have to do this anymore,” he said sadly, feeling bad that the plush seemed to not like the task that was at hand. “So not settling down and getting worked up, you get a really confused plush that might attack you?” Zane asked trying to understand how the plush memories worked. When the door opened and a still irritated Storm stood in the doorway. Red eyes watched as the door remained a crack just enough for a plush to walk in. When Storm asked for a signing plush, Zane frowned curious to why Storm would need something like that and not wanting Rin. When Pride had entered the door had closed completely. “What was that about?” Zane frowned looking to Raider and Rin. Leaning against the door to keep it closed, Storm looked to Pride, “Hopefully you won’t have to sign back.” Looking back to the yellow assassin, he tried to keep from laughing at the shock in their eyes at seeing the plush. “Best not to ask about the talking plush it offends them,” Storm lied as he glanced to Pride on the floor, “This one has many buddies on the other side of the door so I wouldn’t anger it.” A small smile came to his lips as he then looked to the assassin, “Now about why you are here.” Storm watched the assassin closely, “How did you find me?” It took a moment to pull her eyes from the plush to Storm. ‘ Not sure how this will work,’ Fang frowned before signing once more. Hey, my name is Fang. We ran into you and another vampire at the park just before you had left, Fang glanced to the plush before continuing, Our mission was to bring back a deadly vampire that had been causing this city many problems. When we got ahold of the vampire, we were headed back towards our base when the sun had started to come up. Seeking shelter in an old house we decided to wait until nightfall to continue. But things weren't adding up, the vampire in our custody seemed too relaxed for her own good. My companion had sent me to find help knowing she may try something, with two of us injured there wasn't going to much of a fight. We knew we could lose the vampire. I had tracked you from the park in hopes you could lead me to the vampire I seek...or even to the white-haired woman.Moving carefully Lancer leaned against the wall with her left shoulder as she watched Thena and the window. Hours had passed by, and the wound on her back throbbed. The setting sun cast an ominous last futile glow on the city. Lancer closed her eyes briefly when she realized help would not be making it in time. When she opened her eyes her hand slid to her sword, unsheathing it she stood ready for Thena's attack. Ignoring the surprised look in Reaper's eyes she knew she would need to make a fatal blow to the vampire. Laughter filled the room as all eyes were on her, Thena got to her feet as she looked to Lancer, “Well done, I see you had figured it out.” She looked to the confused assassin near Lancer, “However seems you have one who is slow.” Reaper gritted her teeth, “Your hands are bound, and you can't use portals.” “Still too slow,” Thena chuckled taking her hands out from behind her, the snapped rope in one hand. “I got free of this a while ago.” The rope fell to the ground and she looked to Lancer who swung their blade at her. The blue assassin was too slow, sidestepping Thena gripped their forearm and whirled the assassin across the room. The yell from the assassin hitting the wall filled the room, causing Reaper to run towards the injured assassin. “I don't think so.” A portal opened swallowing the blue assassin. A smile spread across her lips watching the red assassin, “Just you and me.” ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~ One moment she had been fighting the next darkness. Gasping for air as she tried to recall what had happened. The last thing she saw was Reaper running to her, gritting her teeth she forced herself to try and look around. ‘ Focus Lancer,’ she told herself, too afraid to move she tried to look around for a light source. Moving her fingers had caused pain, but feeling the hard stone ground made her freeze. ‘ All possibilities I did not expect this on myself..’ “Anyone around?” the echo along the walls made her breath catch in her throat. ‘Just where the hell am I?’ The pain in her back didn't go away, closing her eyes she did her best to calm herself. ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~ “Where did you take her!?” Reaper growled running at Thena, “Bring. Her. Back!” her scythe slashed at the vampire who put up a hand at her. Growling Reaper stopped her scythe, mid-swing. “Kill me and she will never be found,” Thena laughed summoning the portal at her feet, “Be good and stay out of my way. Only then will Blue return to you.” She laughed as she disappeared into the portal leaving the mixed emotional Reaper alone. ‘ Damn it!’ Reaper growled and looked around the now empty room, “Fang!”
