"Well the worse case scenario is that you freeze out here. It's not a nice feeling I can assure you," Dan shifted his eyes to Kiena, he couldn't blame her for worrying but he knew they would be fine. "If anything I can think of one person who won't be happy but that's only because he'll be worried that his only daughter might take a liking to one of the men in your pack. She's nine by the way," he chuckled.
He looked passed the Alpha and his mate to the opening of the cave, "it's stopped snowing, we should go now. Talk the furs with you if you need to, and follow me, whether it be on four feet or two feet," he looked at the new pack and exited the cave, shaking out any snow that had cling to his fur as he exited.
He waited for everyone to exit before he headed towards Moon Pass, his ears in high alert for any new noises, the snow muffled a lot of the usual forest noises and he had to look out for the new pack. He made sure he was leaving a trail in the snow for them incase it was difficult for them since it was about a foot and a half of snow on the floor.

Watching the wolf they all allowed them to pass to the white opening. The white snow was almost blinding to look at. When the wolf was fully out, Fay and Kenia walked out not long after.
"Kelarth, you'll be in the middle, and…Dariston you'll be behind the pack keeping look out," Fay ordered getting a small groan from Kelarth and a grumble from Dariston, the rest keep children in the middle and we'll have the oldest on the outside."
Fay then started to follow after Dan with Kenia on his heels. The rest of the pack started to follow except one whose arms were crossed throwing death glares at the wolf leading them. "Watch him lead us to our death," he mumbled under his breath.
"You really think he'd do that?" Kelarth asked standing next to him, "He seems honest enough…"
"Honesty can also kill," Dariston growled covering his bad eye, "We don't even know this wolf."
"You're funeral…" Kelarth mumbled taking his spot in the middle of the pack.
Dariston followed and grumbled over the cold snow hitting his feet. Shivering he transformed into his wolf form. Shaking out his blue fur as he tried to adjust to the cold. This is worse than I'm the other form, grumbling he slowly made his way up the pack not wanting to stay behind them.
Silent seemed easier in the show as he moved as low as possible. He ignored the eye roll that Kelarth gave him as he neared the front. Only a few more feet and he'd be on top of the wolf leading them.

Dan continued to lead the pack towards Moon Pass keeping on a steady pace that wouldn't leave anyone behind, his ears twitching at any sound he heard around them from snow falling off of tree branches tonthe wildlife he didn't have the time to track and hunt down. Maybe after he dropped off the group with Hala he would continue his hunt that was interrupted by the storm.
His ears perked up at the sound of children laughing, they were close to the village but not that close. He suspected the kids were let loose and were playing in the snow, the thought made him smile and his tail sway slightly.
He looked back towards Fay today that they are closing in but saw someone out of order, realizing it was the boy he buttded heads with. "We're closing in, we'll see some of our pups before anything. And it looks like one of your own doesn't like listening to orders," he looked back ahead of them leading them further out of the forest and into an area that had been purposely thinned of it's foliage.

The sound of laughter on the wind caught Dariston off guard. Stopping in his tracks and forgetting about his plan to pounce on the wolf leading them. Blue ears twitched as he tried to home in on the sound. Lost on what the wind brought to his ears he didn't hear Kenia in the soft snow.
Head suddenly in the snow, a brown paw on his head pushing him even further into the white powder. The cold snow getting into his ear as he looked to Kenia standing over him. Her nose inches from his own nose.
"You had an order from your alpha, how dare you disrespect him," she growled in his ear and then whispered so only Dariston could hear, "Acting the way you are in front of a new pack is also disgraceful to the pack."
Looking to the snow he grumbled as he listened to his second. "You trust them?"
"We don't have much choice, we don't know this land. So just follow orders and get to the back of the pack," green eyes looked into his before letting the wold up, "Fay can deal with you later. Another outburst and you could be." She trailed off knowing now wasn't the time to discipline the wolf. "Follow or be left be hind." She growled as she then took off towards the head of the pack.
Dariston waited for a moment, watching the pack go on ahead of him before taking hid place at the back of the pack. He glanced around at the white snow around them. We are far from home..

As they approached the clearing revealed to them was a small gathering of four children, all bundled up and playing in the snow. A girl with wild blonde hair and green eyes saw the approaching wolf and gasped, "Dan's back!" Leaving her friends in the snow she ran over to the black wolf but stopped in her tracks seeing the strangers behind him. The other three stayed behind shielding one girl with pink colored hair who was shivering scared.
Dan went to the girls side and nuzzled her gently, "it's fine Wynter, they're no danger," as much as he wanted to shoot a look towards the wolf that clearly didn't like him he didn't want to scare the girls.
Wynter looked at the pack behind them and nodded slowly wrapping her arms around the wolf neck hugging him, "Hala was worried about you."
"Well it's a good thing we're going to go see her now. Go on, go back and play with the girls," he nuzzled her once more and watched her go back to the three girls, looking back before joining the group and smushing the scared girls cheeks making her giggle silently.
Dan looked back to Fay and nodded his head in the direction passed the girls, "the village is just up ahead," and continued leading them.
Passing through the clearing where the four girls were playing was the village, dozens of houses and homes circling a central fire pit where a few people were tending to it, trying to restore it's bright blaze. One person in particular had sandy brown hair with matching ears atop her head and warm amber eyes, she spotted the wolf and looked behind him to see others with him. Getting up from her position by the fire she walked to Dan's side and placed a hand on his head which he nudged gently in return.
Dan turned his attention to the new pack, "this is Hala, our leader and Alpha, she's mute, so I'll be translating for her, but if you don't feel comfortable with that I could get someone else. This pack comes from the shadow realm and are in need of assistance, but I'm sure they can explain it better."

Watching the pack move on Dariston grumbled, paws frozen as he followed behind. He glanced to some kids playing when they left the brush. Curious of what pups could do in the frozen snow, for him it was too cold.
Orange eyes watched the girls at play, his black red tipped hair barely getting into his line of vision. He took a step towards them as the pack moved on, an arm brushed his forcing them to follow. He frowned but let then lead him away.
The person holding Alex had them over their shoulder so that he could see everything around them. Alex giggled but then fell silent when they passed the girls, he started to whine wanting down to play but the adult holding him refused. Grumbling and looking to the girls sadly, he then waved.
Fay stopped just a few feet from Dan and glanced from Hala to Dan with a small nod. "That is fine though, is there a warmer place to chat?" He glanced at Kenia who shifted on her feet a little unease.
"If not, here is fine," Kenia chimed in happily rubbing her arms to help stay warm, "As Dan said we are from the Shadow Realm and have never experienced.. what was it, snow weather?"
Watching them quietly, Dariston looked around the village. It seemed to be a pretty big area, that he was curious of how many were even in their pack.

The girls followed behind the new pack and tried to remain quiet as they were curious what all these new people were doing here, seeing the child being held by their supposed guardian three waved back while the other watched quietly.
Looking from the wolf beside her Hala looked over each of the newcomers, seeing them in this state reminded her when she first met Leilani. Her ears perked up when Fay had asked for somewhere warmer, quickly she looked to Dan and signed something to him.
"She says she's so sorry for keeping you out in the cold, follow her to the hall and you'll get warmed up." He was tapped on the head to get his attention as she signed something else, "she also wants to know if anyone is hungry." Hala nodded and smiled and walked into the direction of the biggest building, looking towards the fire at a boy with light blue hair and matching eyes and whistled getting his attention and signed something quickly.
"Got it mom!" He yelled as he threw in the last of the firewood and headed off to one of the homes.
She threw open the double doors to the hall and warmth instantly hit them, the large fireplace in the center lit up the room with it's roaring fire. It was a basically empty room aside from the few tables they had off to the side with some boxes full of miscellaneous things. She stepped aside and let those colder in before she came in herself with Dan at her side.
A moment late the boy with light blue hair and a slightly taller male with brown hair and blue eyes came in holding large bundles of blankets and handed one to each person.
Hala smiled and signed something to the boys in thanks, the boys nodded and stood off to the side incase the needed to get anything else for her or their guests.
She looked to Dan again once everyone would be settled in and began to sign to him.
"It would be odd for people from the shadow realm to be adapted to our colder weather, snow is the farthest thing from shadow realm. I'm glad you were taken to us, who's to say how long you could last in these conditions. If I may ask, why did you leave the realm?"
Dan glanced at the window and saw that the curious girls from before were looking in with the addition of a smaller boy on one of the girls shoulders.

"Food might help us warm up for sure," Fay replied looking at Hala, "Thank you."
They followed her to the big building, the warmth felt good and the extra furs helped with the cold. The pack thanked the ones that handed out the furs and then fell silent over the question of why they had to leave their home. Kenia glanced to Fay who looked grim about leaving their loving home. She intertwined her fingers in his.
"We'll get through this," she smiled to him.
A small boy, no older than ten came forward. Holding the pelt close to his body for warmth, his orange eyes looked to Hala. His black hair with red tips was tucked behind an ear so it wouldn't interrupt his vision. Dariston had moved with the boy, keeping close not sure how the pack would react.
"I'm the reason-" the boy started but Dariston growled lowly looking to Fay. The boy frowned and glanced to the alpha, "They should know.."
"Either way you're one of us," Fay replied looking to the boy and shrugged, "Continue."
No pressure, he thought trying to look at Hala and not worry about the wolf next to the alpha. "The pack was kind enough to let me stay, even at the cost of their home." Feeling Dariston give him a small nudge to continue he then tried his best to recall the beginning of it all. "It all started when my parents had died, they needed to keep me safe and so gave me to the Metal Clan. The clan was attacked, forcing them from their homes…I'm sure they've been burned to the ground by now.."

Hala signaled for her son and other pack mate to bring the pack some hot food that was being prepared outside. Quintus nodded and patted his friend on the back and lead him back outside on the search for bowls and silverware.
She listened to Fay and tilted her heart when the boy stepped forward and said he was the reason. She listened to him noting the wolf that approached with him and exchanged glances with Dan who looked as confused but curious as her and began to sign.
"Why would a small child like yourself be the reason for your clan to be attacked?" Dan spoke calmly as Hala signed it to him not wanting to frighten the boy and ignoring Dariston who stood beside him. He knew he didn't like him at all but he tried anything against Hala or the littles watching he would lie his life down for them.

"He's a highbred," Fay took over to explain, "if in the wrong hands there could easily be no vampires left due to his race. He was snuck out and put into our care." Trailing off he thought long and hard before making the decision. The boy was right, they had the right to know if they were to live here for a bit. "Leo here is a Rohza, and a werewolf."
The pack behind Fay shifted uneasy and looked around the room as if to say the race would cause them to fly out of the shadows.
Leo took a step back feeling the blue fur against his hands made him feel a little better. "My race saw me as a weapon, one that could easily catch vampires and put them in cells. A forever supply of what they needed. A lazy way of living.."

Hearing that the child was a hybrid was no real surprise, they have a few of their own, one was part vampire after all, but what he was mixed with caught Dan's attention. He never saw a Rohza first hand but had heard of them while he lived in the shadow realm. Hala looked at Dan confused and signed to him, unsure what that was.
"Memory serves they're a race from the shadow realm that hunt and consume vampires," his comment made Hala's ears perk up slightly, she didn't show but there was a slight worry in her eyes.
She looked at the child and smiled and signed to Dan, the wolf beside her smiled and looked back to the pack, "she says thank you for telling us, you can feel safe here. You all can," his eyes looked at the pack around them. He saw Hala signed to him again making him sigh, "but since you showed fath with us, we'll do the same. In our pack we have someone who is a wolf and a vampire. She's more wolf than anything."
As if on que the doors opened up again and in came in the two boys from before with two additional people, woman with bright red hair and grey brown eyes and a girl with white hair and gold eyes. Each one had a large tray filled with bowls of hot soup and cutlery and handed one to each member, "I hope rabbit soup if fine with you, gets the chill right out of those bones," the woman with the red hair said smiling.

The smell of food made their mouths water as they looked to the doors when they had opened. Taking the soup from one of the women, Kelarth smiled the bowl was warm in his hands. "Thank you," he then took a sip and closed his eyes savoring the flavor, "This is so good."
Daristons ear twitched at the mention of other hybrids in the pack. But didn't get the chance to question it as the food was brought in. He glanced over his shoulder watching the wolves pass out the soup. A nudge on his shoulder made him look back to Leo.
"Go, I'll be fine," Leo laughed a little shoving the big wolf to go eat. The wolf hesitating before leaving to get himself a bowl of soup. Leo then looked back to the alpha confused, "If you have hybrids here, don't they put the pack in danger?"
Kenia had moved to see if the other two wolves needed help in passing the soup around to the pack. Leaving the alpha and Leo to talk. Walking over to the red haired women she smiled gently, "Anything I can do to help?"

The girl with silver hair smiled, "if your still hungry after that bowl there's plenty more where that came from, so if your hungry don't hesitate to ask for more."
Hala watched as the four of them helped and passed out the food, smiling more watching the boy with blue hair. She looked back to Leo who had moved his guardian to eat but wished he would eat two. Hearing his question she turned to Dan to sign but he interrupted.
"Not all hybrids are dangerous. That woman with the red hair," his golden eyes shifted to the woman who was with Kenia, "she's a wolf and fox hybrid, she's also a mother of two so her kids are also hybrids. We have some that are part human. The most "dangerous" one is that woman with the silver hair. Her father was a vampire anf her mother was a wolf, making her a hybrid of the two but we've had her since she was a child so she's been able to control herself very well."
The red haired woman looked to the woman who approached her and smiled, "if you'd like to help could you please grab that tray from my Ahri? The one trying to balance cups of water?" She nodded her head towards one of the girls that they passed by earlier slowly walking into the room with a tray full of cups trying not to spoil any water. "I'm Solaris by the way," she added passing out the rest of the first rounds of soup.

Leo glanced to the white haired woman giving a small nod. Though still curious, about the new pack. As far as he knew wolves staid with their own kind and didn't allow outsiders into the pack. Shifting on his feet a little uneasy he looked to Hala, "Would it be okay if I joined the others?" Feeling a little guiltily for being hungry.
The alpha had taken a bowl and then joined Leo, Hala, and Dan before eating. The food was definitely something to get used to, nothing at all from what was back at home.
Smiling to Solaris, she quickly went to the poor girl that was trying not to spill the water. "Let me help," Kenia smiled to them as she took one end of the tray. "Maybe it'll be easier if we both held the tray," she offered before looking back to Solaris, "I'm Kenia, it's a pleasure to meet you."
