Edyn is a one time only key Entering the cave naturally lit by sunlight walked three figures, the tallest in the front followed by two smaller ones. The tallest stood at the edge of what seemed to be a sunken natural pool of water and waved a hand over the water, making it softly ripple as images of several people appeared one by one in the pool. “So these are the next ones my lord?” a woman with platinum blonde hair and light blue eyes spoke as she stepped closer to the taller figure. “There's quite a few of them this time around” a shorter male with platinum hair and ocean blue eyes stepped beside her crossing his arms observing the images of the people flashing through the pool. The taller figure grinned, “Make sure the cells are prepared for our...guests…” they looked over their shoulder at the platinum-haired duo as the bowed to them and turned to leave the cave. “Noir” they called stopping the smaller male as they turned to them, “I believe it is your turn to be our insider?” “Yes my lord,” he said with a sweeping bow, “I am aware of my role this time around” The taller figure turned back to the pool watching the images, “Do not fail me” Noir bowed once more and turned to take his leave, the woman waiting for him at the cave's entrance. “Are you ready dear brother?” she asked with a faint smirk on her lips. “Of course dear sister” he responded with a smirk of his own. The woman placed a gloved hand on his shoulder and teleported them out of the room. Once the two had left the tall figure held out their arm out towards the water and with a clench of his hand, the images of the people were engulfed in a dark cloud. “See you soon…”

The woman and Noir appeared in the cells to make sure that each and everyone was restored back to normal their normal state after their previous “guests”. No broken walls, cells doors in working condition and nothing seemed suspicious. Everything was in tip top shape and cleaned out.
“I’m still contemplating that we should have left that one corps in the empty cell. Give them something to truly fear before facing Lord Judgement” The woman said eyeing the empty cell at the end.
“We need to give them a false sense of security that no one had actually perished down here Edyn” Noir said with a short laugh at his froning sister.
“I suppose you’re right, now it's your turn to get in a cell and wait for the others arrival”. She placed a hand on his shoulder and gave it a light squeeze.
“Don't make it too easy or too hard for me alright?” Noir grinned.
“We’ll see about that” Edyn laughed as she teleported the two of them into a cell and let him go, appearing in front of the bars of the cell, holding onto them, ready to part ways with her brother.
Noir walked in front of Edyn, the cell bard separating them, and placed his hands over hers. The two smiled to each other and took a step away from each other.
“Good luck and have fun”
The bustling city passed her by as she laid her head on her folded arms as she sat at a table. She had lived in this city for about nine years and it had already lost its charm, it all seemed repetitive now. With a sigh she closed her eyes.
She began to feel herself doze off when she was suddenly pelted with a damp dish towel. Lifting up her head she looked at a taller man with long jet black hair and red eyes staring her down.
“Yume your supposed to be cleaning tables, not sleeping at them” he said as his red eyes glared down at her.
“But Zeros” she whined, laying her head on the table directly, “It's so boring here, plus there's no one here, I mean Riku is out and about” Yume looked toward a black and purple kitsune that sat on the main counter of the coffee shop watching them.
“And if someone comes in im supposed to play cat” Riku grinned at the annoyed girl.
“How someone can confuse you for a cat astounds me still” Yume said blandly.
“How many people that live in a city have actually seen a fox face to face? Let alone a black and purple one” Zeros sat across from Yume, seeing that she had no motivation or intention to resume what she was doing, Riku jumping down from the counter and joining them, curling herself up in the hood of Yumes hoodie.
She sighed, “I’m sorry, maybe I’m just realizing that I'm not cut out for city life. I also can't help but think how the others are doing?..” lifting her head she looked out the shop window again, not particularly looking at anything.
Zeros smiled sadly at his sister, “I'm sure they miss you too, I mean you guys were really close, besides didnt you have a thing for Zami?” he added with a gin.
Yume felt her face heat up. She quickly pulled her hood over her head, nearly causing Riku to tumble out of it, clinging onto her head instead. “I-I don't know w-what your talking about!” she stammered, avoiding her brothers gaze.
Riku adjusted herself around Yumes neck where it was safer, “but it all doesn't matter if he doesn't remember you at all, I mean it's been years since you two have seen each other…” Yume laid her head back on the table.
Zeros sighed and shook his head, “leave her alone Riku, she's already has enough on her mind” he leaned over and gently placed a hand on her head, “how about you go for a walk and when you get back i'll make us some drinks. How does that sound?”
She stayed like that way motionless for a few minutes before finally speaking up, “...It better not be any of your coffee crap…” It made Zeros laugh. He removed his hand and stood up. “Go for that walk while I decide if i should close uo the shop for the day” he grabbed the dish towel he threw at her and tucked it into the back pocket of his pants.
Yume picked up her head confused, “but it's the afternoon”
He shook his head, “to be honest I just want to go back to sleep” he said with a shrug. The two laughed.
Yume threw off the apron she had been wearing and ran to the door, “I'll be back, also. Make sure to feed dad” she said as she left the shop.
Zeros sighed and placed a hand on his hip, covering his face with his other, Today was her turn...that brat…”
Yume walked the streets, her hands tucked into the pockets of her hoodie, her mind off in her thoughts. Riku poked her head out of the hoodie, mostly hidden by Yumes hair, “Do you really miss them or were you just saying that to get out of taking care of your dad?”
“No I really miss them, I think nostalgia is hitting me, or i'm just lonely…”
“Gee, I guess i'm chopped liver or something” Riku said annoyedly making Yume laugh.
“It's not like that, your family, a weird one, but your family”
“Closer than your bunny of a father?” Riku laughed.
“Most definitely” Yume joined in laughing with her.
They walked around the block, talking about what her friends might be up to and what they could possibly do with “Mr. Snuggles” fearing that the little bunny might get them evicted with all the noise he makes.
Just before they rounded the last corner to make it back to the coffee shop the two were suddenly engulfed in a dark cloud. Yume shielded her face from a possible on coming attack.
Cell Block 1[/u]
The cloud began to disappear and someone with pink hair stood in front of her, seemingly taken back with their own attack. Without time to reach for her daggers in her boots she grabbed the next best thing.
Reaching into her hood she grabbed Riku and proceeded to chuck her at the attacker, Riku screaming in confusion as she hit the attacker and brought them to the ground with a loud thud and yelp from Riku and the pink haired attacker.
The weather was nice and sunny. On their way back to the capital after escorting Kasius back from another kingdom the group of six stopped by a nearby river with a small clearing so they could relax and enjoy the time they had.
Kuthin and Balgrim went to the river to fill up everyones flasks with cold river water, starting to argue over where the safest place to collect it without falling into it. Arcana and Quintus went through their packs to see what previsions they could snack on, regretting not eating that morning when they left the neighboring kingdom, offering what they found to Loch and Kasius who declined their offer. Loch scolding Arcana because he told her to eat instead of sleeping in and Kasius promising the young knight that he was fine but voiced his worries that Quintus was still donned in his armor.
“Quintus, we've been walking for quite some time, are you sure you don't want to take some of it off?” Kasius looked worriedly at his knight.
Quintus shook his head and smiled to his prince, “I'm fine actually, this is why I wore the lighter version Balgrim made me. Plus i'm not as tired as someone else here” he grinned looking at the pinkette.
Arcana pouted and looked away from them, “i'm not built for walking like this. Plus we can have Master Loch poof us back to the castle!” she angrily bit into a piece of deer jerky she grabbed from her bag.
Loch sighed and covered his face, “Arcana, teleportation magic is dangerous and draining moving this many people”
“We could leave Kuthin behind” she muttered with the jerky hanging out her mouth.
“Arcana…” Loch warned her making her flinch.
Kasius tilted his head looking at the pink haired girl, “Arcana, isn't that Balgrim’s?” he looked at the jerky she went back to eating.
She looked at the jerky in her hand in realization, “Whoops, hey Balgrim!” she shouted looking back at the two bickering by the river, “I'm treating myself to some of your jerky!”
“What!” Balgrim shouted shooting up from his kneeling position by the water, a water flask emptying out its contents in the process, “Arcana you little sh-” the ground under Balgrim gave out and forced the angry blacksmith face first into the river, or so he thought.
Kuthin had managed to freeze Balgrim in place with his magic, he couldn't help but grin at the annoyed man, “I told you that area had loose dirt”
“Yeah yeah, now put me back on the ground” he watched Kuthin struggle to bring his back to land. “Your kidding me, you can freeze me but not move me?!”
“Your heavy man! None of this would have happened if you would have just listened to me!” Kuthin snapped at him before looking to Loch for assistance. Loch shook his head smiling and went to assist Kuthin and Balgrim.
Loch reached out to grab ahold of Balgrim’s frozen outstretched arm when the backsmith was suddenly engulfed into a black cloud and disappeared completely. Loch and Kuthin looked to each other confused, “what did you do?” Loch asked Kuthin stepping away from the river.
“I was going to ask you the same thing, that wasn't my doing, I swear!” Kuthin looked at his shaking hands and back to Loch, clearly frightened.
Cell Block 1
Balgrimappered into the cell with a thud, falling on his face after being suspended in mid air. He was ready to brace himself for river water, but not a stone floor. Wait. He pushed himself off of the floor and looked at the ground below him. Stone tile, just what the hell did Kuthin do this time? He picked himself up.
“Kuthin what the hell did you...do…” he paused fully taking the area, “the hell?” he was inches away from what appeared to be iron bars? Jail bars? “He is so dead…” he muttered.
Loch narrowed his eyes and pulled Quintus, Arcana and Kasius over to them with his magic, making sure Kasius was in the center of the small group only to have him push himself out of the center and stand with his friends, his hand on the hilt of his sword with Quintus drew his own.
“What do you think Loch, possible enemy attack?” Quintus asked looking around, keeping himself close to Kasius ready to protect him.
“Hard to say, I don't anyone with this sort of magic that has it out for us” Loch scanned the area for any sign of an attacker.
Arcana grasped onto Lochs hand squeezed it tightly, “Bane if this is you this isn't funny!” She yelled out into the air hoping to coax the blond out of hiding.
“I don't think Bane is smart enough to take Balgrim right away, just stay close to me Arcana” he gave her hand a tight squeeze, only to feel nothing.
Loch spun around to where the pinkette was standing next to him and saw what remained of a dark cloud like thing, looking like the one that took Balgrim.
Cell Block 1[/b]
Arcana looked around scared of the dark cloud that was wrapped around her. She wanted to cru, “Master Lo-” she let out a horrified yelp as something fuzzy and sharp hit her squarely in the face and made them tumble back yelling, “get off! Get this thing off me!” as she struggled to get the odd thing off of her.
“Not Arcana…” Lochs voice shooks as he looked at the empty space, warning the other three of her disappearance. The mage shook, balling up his fist as the air around him began to swirl.
Kasius grabbed him by the shoulders and shook him, “Loch this is not the time to lose yourself, Kuthin place a barriers around us or something!” he watched the white haired male form a barrier of swirling blue and purple colors. Kasius turned his attention back to Loch who seemed to be fighting back his emotions. “Common, just breath Loch, I’m sure Arcana is safe, she can take care of herself until we find her, but you're no good to us like this!”
The wind died down around them as Loch steadied his breathing, curling and uncurling his fist. Kasius was right, he was no good to them if he lost control of his emotions and powers, especially if Arcana was in danger.
Just as he finally calmed down he saw the dark cloud appear around him, both Kasius and Kuthin grabbed onto him but he still disappeared even as they hung into him until he was no longer there. The stood there in silence.
Cell Block 4
Once the cloud began to clear out Loch felt a cold sharp pain around his neck causing him to yell out. He moved his clothing away from his neck and felt something foreign around his neck. It felt like a metal collar with some sort of textured pattern . He tried to use his magic to remove it but nothing happened. He stared at his hands in disbelief.
“What the hell is happening?” Quintus asked breaking the silence between the three of them, tears building up in his eyes clearly frightened. Kasius and Kuthin exchanged glances before looking at the frightened knight, Kasius pulled him closer to them as the fought back tears.
“It's obvious now that whatever that thing is connected to its coming for all of us. I'm not even sure if it's worth fighting it or not…” Kasius said as he looked to the sky above them.
“What do you mean not fight it? Who knows where the hell is taking everyone?!” Kuthin snapped stepping away from the prince and knight. “When this thing takes me I won't just go willingly, I’ll attack the first person I see on the other side of that cloud!”
“But Kuthin! You might just escalate things or get yourself hurt” Quintus tried to calm down his friend, tears no longer in his eyes, only concern.
“Let them try!” he shouted making the two jump, “I’ll kick their ass!” Quintus and Kasius exchanged looks thinking the same thing: he's been arguing with Balgrim too much.
As if on cue a dark cloud began to surround Kuthin. They watched as the mage closed his eyes, redying himself for what was on the other side before fully disappearing.
Cell Block 3[/u]
Kuthin opened his eyes and sprung into action, only to be brought to his knees from an unbearable pain around his neck. He grabbed at the collar like item and struggled to get it off.
In the midst of struggling he saw someone with platinum hair staring at him. Without hesitation he launched himself at the person grabbing them by their shirt. “Where the hell are we? Where are the others you took from me?!”
Noir laughed nervously and placed his hands over Kuthin’s, “relax buddy, i'm not sure myself. I’m just as lost and confused myself”
Kuthin eyed them suspiciously before letting him go, noticing something that looked like what could be around his on the other person's neck. “Just what the heck?”
Quintus and Kasius were the only ones left.
Quintus turned to Kasius who seemed surprisingly calm about the situation at hand, “Kaius...I’m scared…” he said quietly, lowering his head in shame that here he was, a knight, and scared.
Kaius smiled and gently lifted his head by his chin, “you know what? So am I” Quintus looked at him shocked and surprised, which only made Kasius laugh. “I am scared, but I know we'll see each other soon, remember, Loch said all of us are bonded together.
Quintus nodded, remembering Loch saying that and only knowing how true it was. He removed Kasius’ hand from his chin and held it both hands looking at the prince square in the eyes. “I will find you on the other side. I promise” he spoke confidently, squeezing his hand as he spoke.
Kasius smiled and ran his hand through Quintus’ hair, “I’m counting on you”. The dark cloud came once again surrounding Kasius. Quintus held onto his hand until he was no longer there.
Cell Block 5
Kasius looked at his hand that Quintus was holding and clenched it into a fist. He had to find him, but first he had to figure out where he was himself. He placed his hand on his hip, reaching for the hit of his sword, feeling that he wasn't alone, but felt only his hip, sword missing. He patted the area before looking himself, seeing that his sword was gone.
There he was, the last of his friends, watching them all go one by one. There was only one thing to do. He tightened the straps on his sword keeping it secured to his side and swung his pack back onto his back and waited for the cloud to come for him, not fighting the odd feeling it gave off.
Cell Block 7
Quintus let go of a breath he didn't realize that he was holding, maybe once the cloud consumed him he did it on instinct. He felt odd, and light. He reached for his sword at his hip and felt nothing, then reaching for his shield mounted on his back, still nothing. All his equipment was gone. He wanted to cry, both tears and the names of his friends,. He froze suddenly, sensing someone in the area as himself. Helpless and defenceless.
The sky was dark and littered with stars, adding a glow of light to the lights of the brightly lit city. People moving around the city not aware of what was going on above them. A woman with long silver hair and blue eyes chased down a figure who had their features hidden by their dark clothing. A buzz of static rang through her ears before a voice came through.
“Ice come in, where is your location?” a males voice asked.
Ice brought a hand to her ear pressing on the communicator on her earpiece, “rooftops, I don't have an exact location but I see the south river”
“Copy that, on my way” the voice cut out with a buzz of static.
Ice sighed and unsheathed her katana, she wanted to bring down this guy before her partner had to be involved.
Getting close enough she managed to slice them in the leg causing them to fall down from the rooftops into an alleyway. Ice dropped down after them, her katana held tightly in her hand.
The figure began to make an attempt to back away but their wounded leg did not allow them to move much. Ice stood over them now, katana positioned at their neck, “tell me where your partner is and i'll make your death painless, well, less painful as it now” she laughed at his pained expression.
She saw what they looked like finally. They looked to be no older than eighteen, brown hair and blue eyes, someone so young involved in something dangerous. It was sad, but it happens.
She saw him looked behind her with wide eyes. She spun around around and instinctively swung her katana at the unknown person, landing it in their chest. The partner in question was impaled with her sword. She couldn't help but grin as she removed her sword and with a quick swift movement, ended his life, his blood getting everywhere.
The sound of movement behind her caught her attention giving her enough time to look and see the kid get a bullet to the head, dropping dead, the knife clenched in his hand dropping to the floor. His blood now on her from the headshot. She looked up at the rooftops to see someone behind a sniper rifle give her a thumbs up. She sighed. Ice looked at the two bodies around her before jumping onto the rooftop with the sniper.
“Call it in, I dropped my phone somewhere during the chase” she said looking over herself to see how much blood was on her.
“That's an odd way of saying ‘Thank you for saving my life Hiro, I could have died if it wasn't for your rad skills’ “ he said trying to imitate her voice, making it sound girlier than it was, only making her laugh.
“Yes, thank you for stopping that kid from stabbing me, though I wouldn't say my life was on the line, and I would never say ‘rad’” She sat on the edge of the ledge of the rooftop, her legs dangling over the side as she waithed for Hiro to call their boss.
“The kid was cornered, like an animal, you never know what could happen” he added before speed dialing their boss and putting it on speaker phone. The phone was picked but but nothing was said.
“Both targets eliminated sir, no other casualties” Ice spoke as Hiro brought the phone closer to her. There was silence.
“Good job, head home” A voice spoke before hanging up. Hiro breathed a sigh of relief, falling back onto the roof happily.
“We can go home” he exclaimed happily.
Ice laughed, “be careful, you might wake up the people below” she pointed to the rooftop below them.
Hiro placed his hands behind his head, “let them wake up, i'm tired of being in this city, I wanna go back to the guild” he half whined.
She smiled up at her partner and looked up at the sky, “I understand, there more stars back home”
Hiro sat up and looked at her, “but first I think we should hit the hotel so you can clean up,” he laughed, “might attract a blood sucker or two”
Ice looked at her ares and closes seeing the blood splattered on them. Also touching her face feeling spots of blood starting to dry up. She sighed again, “I think i'll have to go through a window” she said disappointedly.
Hiro laughed and jumped to his feet and went to her offering her his hand, “common, lets get out of here” she smiled and took his hand and started to move away from the edge.
She she stood up a dark cloud circled around her startling the two. “Hiro?” Ice began to panic, trying to move away from the odd cloud, losing her footing and slipping off the edge.
“Ice!” Hiro called after her, diving over the edge hoping to catch her hand. Fingertips brushed before she disappeared into the dark cloud.
Cell Block 6
Ice braced herself for the impact of the ally floor but felt that she was already on her back laying in the ground, her katana laying at her side. She reached out to it only to see it disintegrate like sand in the wind.
She quickly got to her feet and looked around, “Hiro?” Where she was looked nothing like the rooftop she was on with her partner. She was also in the presence with two new people she had never seen before. She readied herself for what could happen next.

Cell One
Walking down the street, a blond haired male with reddish brown eyes followed after his redheaded brother. They were out to get something from a store, his brother convinced him to tag along. Running a hand through his blond hair he glanced towards the sky, with a faint smile on his lips as he then looked around them. He then froze, thinking he had seen someone he had once knew long ago. Shaking his head and by the time he looked again they were gone. Letting out a soft sigh he looked back towards his brother who was now a ways away.
A cloud of darkness swirled and shrouded around the blond haired Male. Reaching out into the darkness where his brother once stood just moments before. His reddish brown eyes were wide with panic as the darkness engulfed him. Then the darkness lifted, revealing a soft light that casted shadows along the barred room. Running to the bars he tried to shake them, but they didn’t budge despite there rusty looks. "Zamar!" Gritting his teeth he trie led to recall what had happened.
'One minute we were walking down the street, then the next I'm here. There was no warning, and it seemed like a normal day..' crossing his arms he couldn’t figure out what had happened, or where he had ended up.
The feeling of his coat sink down, made him glance behind him towards his weapons no longer feeling the weight of them. His reddish brown eyes narrowed as he let out a small hiss through his lips, “No way...they are gone?” Feeling the empty sheath that had kept the two on his back he tried to keep calm as he looked back out of his cell unsure of what was going on, still not knowing there was another within the cell.
Green eyes watched as demons had flooded into the village, hearing the screams brought a smile to his face. HIs brother was on the other side, his brother had never failed in helping him and had little doubt his brother would be doing as he had asked. Running a hand through his short red hair, he glanced to the village borders from where he stood. He was able to see the smoke and damage being caused and some villagers had started to flee into the forest. Taking out his blades he headed down towards the escaping villagers.
Cutting them off from their escape route, he growled at them, “How dare you try to escape!”
One had picked up a rock and threw it at him. As it landed at his feet, a black cloud like mist started to surround him. The villagers had quickly backed away from him. “What did you do?” The anger in his green eyes watched as the black cloud swallowed him. Looking around the darkness he wasn’t sure what had just happened, he had to blink many times to get his vision to focus when the dark cloud had dissipated. The blades in his hands started to become dust, and blown away into the air as if someone had blew his blades into sand in the wind that didn’t exist. Taking a step back, his eyes narrowed as he looked to where they once were. The place was starting to confuse him even more as he looked around his sell.
In the dim light, he could make out a figure against the bars. They didn’t seem to be paying much attention to what was within the room. He let out a soft growl from his throat causing the blond haired male to jump and turn towards him. “What fresh hell have you brung me to?”
The voice had made the blond haired male jump and spin around towards the darkness of the cell, unable to make out the figure very well, “What? I didn’t bring you here I have no power like that.” Shaking his head he leaned against the bars and crossed his arms over his chest, “I think someone else has brought us here, why else would we be in a prison?”
Cell Two
A woman with red eyes and wore a black cloak that hid her pale skin tone underneath. Her hand gripped it tightly as she walked trying to keep herself hidden as much as possible. Red eyes looked to the shadows of her home, looking for something in particular, but cautious as she didn’t want to be noticed by the other demons around her. Her black hair trailed loosely behind her, and came to the middle of her shoulder blades. The blood red sun that never set still remained motionless as ever, seemed to make the place almost seem frozen in time.
A small scowl appeared on her lips not expecting to be the first to arrive in their usual place. Looking up and down the alley she listened for any footsteps that may echo, but all she heard was silence. Biting her lip carefully as to not draw blood from her sharp fang, she then headed towards the wall when suddenly something dark clouded her vision. Quickly she made an illusion of herself, watching as the darkness engulfed it and then surrounded her. “What is going on?” Frantically she looked for the other demons but there was no sign of anyone. Waving her hands in the darkness, she felt nothing around her.
When the darkness had lifted and revealed the bars of her prison, she shrank back. Fear enclosed over her as she backed into the wall, ‘How did I get here? Did I anger the little demons?’ Red eyes grew wide with fear as she noticed she wasn’t the only one within the walls over her cell. ‘Have the humans found a way to suck us out of our world? My king forgive me if I had angered you…’ Her breathing was in short bursts as she wasn’t fully able to keep herself calm.
Cell Three
Light brown ears twitched as she staid crouch in her favorite hiding place within place within within the clan’s territory. The hiding place was a hole in the territory wall that had been hollowed out with skillful hands. Grey green eyes looked to the opening as she remained still, her light brown tail was frozen in mid wag too afraid to move a muscle in fear of being heard.
The footsteps she had heard were coming closer, when they stopped at the hole’s entrance her ears pricked forward. Only one person knew of her hiding place. Watching the feet, she nearly jumped when they knelt down to look within.
“What are you doing here?” Came a familiar voice with a small smile on his lips.
Smiling sheepishly back, she moved to make room for the male wolf. “Hiding from the world.” Putting her back against the wall, she watched as the light brown haired wolf made himself comfortable on the other side of her. “I can’t explore outside of the territory…”
“Not yet, but one day you will.”
Her light brown ears perked up at the thought, “You really think so? The clan seems so protective over me...I doubt Fay would allow it..”
“It’s only cause of the human side, they fear the demons will get one whiff of your blood and start to chase you down. I’m certain one day that you’ll be able to explore outside of these walls, I mean you are one of us. They can’t keep you hidden forever…” he gave her a small smile as he reached over and squeezed her shoulder gently.
“I don’t want to be a burden or cooked up inside these walls,” she mumbled as she looked to the male wolf who slowly started to slip away in her vision. The hand on her shoulder was gone as the wolf became darker due to a black mist, “Kino?” When there was no answer she shot up, forgetting that she was in her cave within the territory walls. But there was nothing over her head or around her, feeling for the wall that had once been behind her only to discover it too was gone. Panic came over her as she frantically looked around herself. When the darkness around her faded and her eyes took some time to adjust to the dim light. There was no sign of the other wolf, her ears went flat against her skull as she looked towards the bars that kept her inside her rock walled cell.
Her tail twitched when she realized she wasn’t the only one within her cell prison. She shrank back into a corner watching her inmates closely, ‘What is going on?’ Only one of her inmates she knew was human, the other she wasn’t so sure on, deciding to keep her distance as much as possible in her confined space.
Being away from home for the first time and encaged, wasn’t how she planned on exploring the world. All she knew was that there was a faint sound of wind that her ears picked up on. ‘If I can just escape and figure out where I am…’
Cell Four
A blond haired male with blue eyes watched the smoke come from the village below. Leaning against a tree, the sight bored him as he heard the screams of the villagers. His eyes caught movement as some of the villagers tried to flee into the forest, shaking his head he gave the order to the demons to retreat. Knowing his brother would be furious, he shrugged his shoulders as it was inevitable on the situation. Pushing off the tree, he made his way deeper into the forest.
Blue eyes craned to the left expecting his brother to jump out at any moment pissed off on stopping the attack. But there was no fuming red haired male, ‘Did something happen to him?’ With a small sigh he headed towards the other side of the village.
When he was halfway to where his brother had been during the attack, something that looked like a black mist had formed out of nowhere and started to circle around him. Putting a hand to his blade as the world became dark, it had taken some time to adjust to the darkness of the cell when it had cleared. He could hardly make out a figure with the dim light. “Who are you, and what is the meaning of this?”
The hand on the handle of his blade soon gripped nothing as it dissolves into dust. Looking to where it once was, he gritted his teeth not happy he had lost his weapon from his brother. ‘If this is just a joke, I’m not laughing.’
Stalking early in the morning was his favorite thing to do, just before the sun would rise. The second most favorite thing he enjoyed was to annoy a woman he had met not too long ago. Despite her warnings he continued to try to find her for she seemed to always be in a different place than the last time he saw her. His grey eyes with a tint of red looked around for the woman, the cream white wolf has his ears perked forward listening to the silence around him. There was no sign of the woman he wished to stalk and cause problems with, his tail lowered slightly to the ground as he stopped to sniff the air.
‘This isn’t like her,’ crouching low in a bush, his ears twitched as they listened, it was unusual for the forest to be so quiet. Shivering at the comfortable and erie the silence was, he tried to shake it off.
A low growl came from his throat as something like a dark cloud had formed around him. Turning the way he had came, he started to run to get away from the dark menacing cloud. No matter how fast he ran he couldn't seem to shake it as it soon swallowed him up.
Slowly he shifted back to his human form, staying crouched to the floor. Grey eyes looked to the two figures in his cell, a little confused. ‘They aren’t with the tribe, so who are they?’ Reaching for the weapon he had across his shoulder, only to find it was missing, he cursed softly. ‘This isn’t good…’
Cell Five
A white haired male with tanish looking horns barely hidden on his head, had turned down a dark alley. If it wasn’t for the blood red sun over head he was sure their world would be very dark. His blue eyes scanned for something familiar, often he would meet with a few demons here, but today the alley was empty. A chill came over him as he walked to the middle of the alley.
Stooping down he looked for any sign of the demons that were often here. ‘I don’t understand, they should be here,’ standing up he put a hand out, his palm facing up. A blue flame appeared out of nowhere and snaked up the demon’s arm. Stopping at his shoulder, yellow eyes looked to the white haired demon as the flames smoothed out a little. The white haired male then reached up and petted the little fox fire on his shoulder, the flames were warm to the touch as he looked around them.
“What do you think-
He then froze as a black cloud engulfed him, if it wasn’t for the animal spirit he would never have seen it coming. The fox’s flames had grown as it seemed afraid of what was happening, sensing the danger from it’s master. Trying to calm the fox, as well as his own nerves, his blue eyes glanced around, seeing the dim light and bars. The white haired male put p his arm, the fox shrank in size as it climbed up and stopped in his palm. The soft light from the fox’s blue flames lit the room revealing the rock wall on all three corners, revealing no sign of the other hidden cells.
“What is the meaning of this?” Frowning at the bars he slowly walked to them and put a hand to the cool metal. The fox’s eyes scanned the dimly lit room, the flames becoming wild as it didn’t like the place. “Calm yourself Cosmo, there has to be a reason we are here. Perhaps….No they use portals not odd clouds of darkness…”
Violet eyes looked around the quiet huts of her tribe. Only a few stirred so early in the morning. Gripping her bow a little more tightly she made her way towards the forest. Her dark brown hair was tied back using a weeping willow branch, and the clothes she wore were leather and dyed green to help blend into her green environment.
When she came to the edge of the forest the dark brown haired woman knocked a hand made arrow to the bow before walking further. Listening closely to the quiet forest for any sign of a beast. The tribe counted on their warriors to bring back food, as well as protect them, and she didn’t wish to let them down.
‘The forest is never this quiet,’ her violet eyes narrowed as she wondered what could be the cause of it. The arrow glowed a soft light blue as her violet eyes couldn’t focus on the forest as it started to dissipate before her eyes.if not for the glow of the arrow she was sure she had fallen asleep. Gritting her teeth she raised the bow and arrow ready to fight whatever was coming.
The cloud soon lifted revealing the soft light from the other side of the bars. But what got her attention was a male holding a blue flame in their hands. Ready to fire her arrow at the male she watched them closely, “What witchcraft is this, and where have you brought me?”
The blue fox in their hand seemed to be in pain as it’s eyes became closed and it shook wildly causing the white haired demon to curse as they tried to figure out what was wrong with it. Ignoring the woman with the bow and arrow, moving the fire fox closer to him. His blue eyes narrowed as he managed to finally calm it down, though the flames were only a little more relaxed as it’s yellow eyes look to him. “You can’t grow in size can you?” A small frown appeared on his lips as he looked back towards the figure as he watched the bow start to dissolve into what appeared to be sand. The fox’s yellow eyes watched the woman as she nearly dropped her weapon and bow to the floor.
“What magic do you possess?” Her violet eyes widened in fear as she moved back from the figure and the blue flame. She wasn’t aware of the other figure in the room, her eyes only focused on the male with the blue flame.
Cell Six
A purple eyed white shaggy haired demon wearing a black coat over a blood red shirt, and black pants. Sitting across from him was another male with red eyes and dark purple almost black hair wearing a black hoodie and dark blue jean pants.
The room was dimly lit by a light over head, and a table was in front of them. The other few chairs remained empty, which caused the white haired male to scroll and cross his arms over his chest in almost a pout. He wasn’t used to being alone with the company, with the others around he always felt a little better.
“I’m sure they will show soon, try to relax,” the red eyed male chuckled softly, “Does my presence unnerve you?”
“You think?” He shifted in his seat trying not to look at the male directly.
“I wonder what you have to fear, it couldn’t be that bad,” finding the male before him squirm under his gaze made him laugh, “Sorry we are friends, I wouldn’t do-” He trailed off as the look of fear became suddenly engulfed in a haze of black looking fog or smoke. “I promise I didn’t do anything!” He called into it as the chair was now empty across from him.
His eyes narrowed as whatever engulfed his friend had came for him next. ‘What do you fear my new opponent?’ He closed his eyes as he waited for what was to come. Not feeling the chair under himself, he fell to the rock floor. Then before his eyes could adjust to the dim cell light, something hard hit him on the head. Shaking his head in a daze, he tried to make sense of what had happened.
“Where did you take me!? I thought you said you wouldn’t scare me,” the white haired male glared at him from behind a female with white hair.
“I didn’t do this, and cheap shot hiding behind a human. That’s playing dirty,” getting to his feet he dusted himself off and looked to his surroundings. The cell didn’t seem very big, and the bars seemed to be sturdy. His eyes narrowed as he looked back towards his friend.
“Human? That would explain the enticing aroma, she smells delicious,” the white haired male smiled as he looked down at the white haired female.
“Magnus, slowly back away from her..” he warned as he slowly as he carefully approached Magnus, the smell of blood was strong and what was worse it even looked fresh. The white haired male at first looked at him confused until the demon behind her caught the scent. ‘Dang it why did we have to be stuck with someone covered in blood?’ Moving carefully as he saw Magnus looking to the woman hungrily.
“I don’t mean to alarm you, but-” he launched himself at the white haired woman, causing them to fall to the ground. Holding her to the ground he glared up at Mangus, “If the prince finds out you bit someone, how would he take it? Do you really want to be in one of his cells?”
Crossing his arms he slowly shrank away from the two, and leaned against the stone wall. A small scroll on his face as he looked towards the bars, “Who says we aren’t in his cell room right now?” His purple eyes glared at Zenos as he still seemed to protect the woman under him. “You can get off her,” he bared his fangs before looking back to the bars.
“If we were, don’t you think it would be odd to have a human there?” shaking his head he helped the woman up and ran a hand through his dark purple hair, “Sorry…” He then glared towards Magnus, “You should at least apologize for trying to bite her…”
“I’m sorry that you are delicious and that whoever’s blood is on you smells so good,” Magnus mumbled only to get whacked in the head by the dark purple haired male. “Owe..”
Shaking his head he looked back towards their cell bars, “Any idea on what is going on or why we are even here? I assume you were brought here like we were with the dark mist thing…”
Cell Seven
One minute he was walking with his younger brother, the next he was gone. Frantic yellow eyes looked for his blond haired younger brother, but there was no sign of him. Puzzled he ran a hand through his red hair, feeling lost on where he would have gone.
The street was crowded, and no one seemed to have noticed anything. His eyes narrowed as he instinctively reached for his blade at his side, ‘Old habits really do die hard…’ He closed his eyes making himself stay calm.
‘Whoever took my brother, is going to pay,’ when he opened his eyes the darkness was all he could see until the dim light showed the frame of his cell. Yellow eyes tried to adjust to the darkness as he looked around himself, then they fell to someone else within his confined room. Unsheathing his sword he pointed it towards them, “I’m only going to ask you once, where is my brother?” Startled he nearly dropped the sword as it disappeared into fragments before his eyes and seemed to have been swept away as if someone had bloan it into a breeze. ‘What the hell kind of place is this?’

Cell 1[/u]
Balgrim spun around facing the other two people in the cell with him, a blonde and redhead, no one he knew. He instinctively reached for his ax that was mounted on his back but felt nothing. He was not happy. When did he allow anyone to get so close they disarmed him?
He narrowed his eyes at his two cellmates wondering if anyone of them was foolish enough to take his weapon, but they didn't look the type, plus he was pretty certain one of them couldn't even lift it.
“I take it by your reactions the two of you have no idea where the hell we are? Or why were in some sort of cell...with no door” he started at the bars but saw no way to enter or exit. “How the hell did we get in here?” He walked closer to the bars and gave them a hard shake, not caring if it bothered the blonde, but it barely budged, “what the actual hell?!” he growled.
Cell 2[/u]
Arcana managed to get a good grip on Riku and toss her off of her and toss the fox off to the side getting a few scratches in the process.
Yume took the chance to reach for her daggers but felt nothing, but felt an odd sensation inside of her boots. Not caring about the Pinkett she dropped to the floor sitting down and pulled a boot off and saw something that looked like sand fall out and disappear in an invisible wind. ‘Not good…’
Arcana regained her composure and held her hands over the scratches on her face and began to heal them with a dim green glow coming from her hands, “just what was that for?! You threw a cat at me!”
“Rikus not a cat! She's a fox! Yume yelled back at her, checking her other boot but found the weird disappearing sand again, “besides you attacked first bringing me here! And apparently taking my weapons!”
Arcana looked confused and taken back, “I did no such thing, I’m in the same situation at you”. She checked her belt where she had her own dagger and saw it missing as well.
Riku laid on the floor as she waited for the room to stop spinning from being tossed around so quickly. Once the room was stable she looked around them and noticed a girl huddled in the corner, not looking too well. She approached them and tilted her head, “Hey, you ok buddy? Yume!” she turned to the quarreling black haired female getting her attention as well as the pink haired one, “she doesn't seem well” Riku looked back to the hyperventilating girl.
Without even thinking about putting her boots back on Yume went over to the girl, kneeling in front of her but made sure to keep her distance to give her space, Arcana stood behind her, concerned for the girl as well.
“Are you ok? Have you hurt anywhere?” Yume looked over her quickly and looked at Riku and gave her a small nod, watching the small fox go to her and squeezed herself into her lap and gave her a nuzzle, hoping that something small and fluffy could calm her down.
Cell 3[/u]
Kuthin, still suspicious of the platinum-haired male looked around, noticing a girl in the far off corner, “was she there the whole time?”
Noir went over to her and knelt in front of her and held out a gloved hand to her, “hey, my name is Noir, and this is,” he looked over to Kuthin who seemed busy studying the room around them, fiddling with the collar object around his neck unconsciously, “Whitey!” Noir said with a grin looking back at her, “what's your name?”
‘Seems like we have a serious type here’ Noir thought with a laugh, ‘And a werewolf, an interesting twosome I'm paired up with’
“Just let me know if you need backup, I'm still deciding who to drop in on first’ Edyn's voice rang through his mind.
‘Don't come in just yet, I want to gain the trust, even a little would help. Though I’m sure “Whitey” doesn't like me much’ he laughed, hearing Edyn join in with him.
Cell 4[/u]
Loch jumped slightly hearing someone's voice looking from his useless hands to the male with the blonde hair and blue eyes and seemed agitated. He wondered what God he angered to be in this position.
“My name is Loch, and your guess is as good as mine. All I know is that some sort of dark cloud of smoke abducted me and some of my friends” he hoped the others weren't dragged into this and that Kuthin, Kasius, and Quintus were safe back at the woods.
“You wouldn't have happened to see a girl with long pink hair and an annoying man with short brown hair pulled into a long ponytail?” It was a shot in the dark but maybe there was a chance this guy happened to see Arcana and Balgrim.
Hearing sounds beside him he looked to see another male with blonde hair and grey eyes in the cell with them and...staring them down? “I take it you have no idea how or why any of us are here?” As he spoke both men he tried to summon his magic to his hands, but nothing came to him, he felt no magic at all.
Cell 5[/u]
Now aware he wasn't alone Kasius watched his cellmates, frowning, realizing what happened to his sword watching the girls bow disintegrate, and he couldn't see anyone from his group. He hoped they were safe and that Quintus was safe being left alone for last.
The male with horns holding what looked to be some fire spirit caught his attention, never seeing someone who looked like that, the fire spirit being nothing new after traveling with Loch and Kuthin for so long. The woman was them looked normal? Compared to him, but the glimpse of her bow before it disintegrated told him otherwise.
Stepping toward them, making himself know he held out his arms to them, mostly to show he too was unarmed and came in peace. “I don't mean to butt in but seeing that he seems to have some sort of magic abilities, I doubt he was the one to bring you here, why else would he be in the cell himself?” He spoke calmly and clearly.
“I think all we can do for now is get to know each other and find a way out of here” he placed a hand on his chest and smiled slightly, “my name is Kasius, what are yours?”
Cell 6[/u]
Ice looked between them as they talked, they knew each other. Gret. She wasn't sure if that was a good or bad thing by the way they were acting. But she knew one thing, she didn't like how one of them looked at her. Before she could do or say anything she was tackled to the ground by the other person, letting out a surprised yelp of some kind. She struggled to get them off of her. Just seeing the one that looked at her funny backing away from them.
“That was totally unnecessary and I'm not accepting that apology” she spoke up as the male got off of her and his friend “apologized”. She stared him down for a moment, “Hiro was right, I did attract a bloodsucker…” she mumbled as she stood up and dusted herself off, cringing slightly feeling the wetness of the blood on her close. She sighed heavily.
“To answer your question, I have no idea why we’re here or where “here” is”. ‘They spoke about a prince, I doubt were from the same place, or even planet for the matter’ Ice thought, keeping her distance from the one called Magnus as his friend called him.
“I believe I can answer some of your questions and curiosities” Edyn spoke as she suddenly appeared in front of the cell, a good distance from the bars. She curtsied and smiled to the three, “I am Edyn, I will be your guide for a long as you're here”
“Yeah, I have a question” Ice said looking at the woman who looked one white apron away from looking like a french maid. Edyn looked at her curiously, “can I get something to clean off this blood so I don't get attacked by Fangs here?” she pointed her thumb at Magnus.
Edyn chuckled, “of course” she disappeared in the blink of an eye and reappeared in the cell handing Ice a wet towel directly in her hand before appearing back in front of the cell.
Ice blinked a few times looking from her to the towel, ‘seems impossible to catch her…’ “Thanks..” she began to rub away at the blood on her arms.
“Of course, my Lord would not want his guests to be harmed”
“L-Lord?” Ice asked confused as Edyn only smiled.
Cell 7[/u]
Quintus watched as the other males sword disappeared in front of them, he seemed as startled as he was. “It seems that both of us were separated from the people we care about. My friends were taken by that odd cloud and the very same thing that brought us here…”
He frowned slightly, feeling bad that this person was separated from his brother, even willing to threaten someone for him. Quintus stepped closer to him and held his hand out to him, “I’m Quintus, what's yours and your brother's names?” he spoke calmly, trying to conceal any hint of fear he had. He hoped that the two of them could work together and find who they're looking for. ‘Kasius, hold on…’

Cell One “The bars don’t budge,” the blond haired male said watching Balgrim as he moved away from the cell bars. While the man tried the bars out anyway, skillful eyes looked to the walls of their confinement. Looking for any holes or sign of weakness. “Seems whoever put us here doesn’t want us to get out.”
“Thank you for stating the obvious,” the red haired male had been watching them quietly for sometime from the corner of their cell. ‘One with muscle yet lacks in other areas, blondie seems to have some skill as far as brains go. This is going to be tough,’ he glanced to the muscular fellow by the bars with a slight smile, “You on the other hand look to be strong, would you mind punching these walls? If we can’t get out from the bars there is only one other option. That or we may just rot in this cell and I’m not comfortable dying down here…”
Reddish brown eyes glared at the red haired male, “If we do that the ceiling of this cell could cave in. The only option I see is waiting this out and see who has brought us here.”
“Boring and that could takes days, weeks, months? I for one am not waiting that long,” he said crossing his arms and looking at the more menacing of the two before him. “I am sure you don’t wish to be here any longer than we need to.”
‘What is with this guy?' Zami shook his head and started to tap along the wall for any hollow place. The rock seemed solid all the way through with no sign of giving on the other side as he continued. ‘Seems we have the sturdy cell within these walls…’
Ignoring the blond male, green eyes focused on Balgrim. Curious if they could find a way out.
Cell Two Watching the two fight and bicker over weapons and some animal. She tried not to laugh, until the animal thing talked and pointed her out to the others. Slowly she shook her head to one of the girl’s questions. “I’m alright, I’m not hurt or anything..”
Feeling something fuzzy and soft nuzzle her, she smiled a little and petted the odd strange creature. “What kind of demon are you? Don’t think I’ve ever seen one of you before,” scratching under the fox’s chin, red eyes then looked from one person the next. Feeling a little more comfortable and reminding herself that they didn’t know what she was or they would have acted a lot differently. “Um...your bare foot on strange rock, you might want to put your shoes back on…” she pointed out unsure if this ground was really safe to walk on, or what kind of ground they were even on. Shivering at the thought of being inside a demon’s stomach she quickly disregarded the thought.
“Want to see a trick?” Looking to the fox on her lap, she petted their ears while forming something in the middle of the room.
Starting out as an unclear haze of a shadow as she formed it, molding it to her satisfaction until it finally solidified. Ruffling its fur as if getting the dirt and dust off. It then turned it’s dark blue head to the side as it moved its tails. The creature was similar to the fox on her lap, only it was dark blue and with the same black stripes.
‘I wonder if the others will look for me if they see me missing…’ her gaze drifted away from the new creature in the cell towards the hard stone floor. She wasn’t sure if they would even notice her gone, only that she wasn’t at their meeting place. When she looked back up towards the creature in the room, she realized it was watching her with sad eyes. Closing her eyes she forced herself to think positive, that she was going to get out of the cell and be able to see them again.
“I am Haiz,” she said with a forced small smile that revealed her fangs, not used to having to hide them.
Cell Three Brown ears perked as she thought she heard footsteps, not knowing how close they were she looked up and jumped to see them so close. She shifted a little uncomfortably as her brown ears pricked forward towards them, her tail curled tightly around her waist. “I’m Aria…” she managed to say thought it came out as a squeak, “Nice to meet you?” She glanced towards the white haired male that he had nicknamed as “Whitey” unsure if she could trust either one of her cell mates. Though Noir seemed alright so far, she gave a small sniff before slowly reaching out a hand towards him in greeting.
“Did you anger the dark prince as well? Is that why we are all here?” Brown eyes looked from one to the other as she was still confused as to what was going on. ‘I doubt they have much information as to what is going on as well...there wouldn’t be a human here if we were still on my planet…’ Her ears lowered at the thought of being on a different planet, away from her pack mates as well as the dark sky with the one red sun.
Cell Four Jasper looked to the blue haired male and shook his head slowly, “Sorry I haven’t seen anyone other than the two of you, nor do I know where we are.”
“Pretty much the same,” Syus said with a small shrug as he watched the two males confused as to what was going on. ‘I wonder if Ray is here too...wherever here even is..’ Shaking his head he looked back towards Loch with a small smile, “The name is Syus.”
“I’m Jasper,” he replied with a small smile remembering that the male had introduced himself first. He then frowned seeing the collar around Loch’s neck for the first time, “What’s with the thing around your neck?” Feeling his own neck, he was a little relieved that he didn’t have one on.
“Loch was it?” The blue eyed male frowned as he now saw what Jasper had pointed out, if not for the dim light shining faintly on it, it would have been hard to notice. “Is that glued shut?”
“Maybe it’s a spell, I wouldn’t want to anger the one who put it on,” Jasper replied looking out of the cell as if expecting to see a guard.
“I doubt there is anyone else here,” glancing around them and seeing only the two of them, he shrugged his shoulders, “We don’t have collars, so why does he?” He then looked back towards Loch with a small smile, “Lets see if we can get it off.”
“Still don’t like it,” Jasper replied with a mumble when he didn’t have an answer to why they didn’t have collars on. He then moved to the bars as he wondered something. The spacing seemed odd, only wide enough for maybe a hand to go through, ignoring the footsteps that were heading away from him. Jasper put a hand threw the bars trying to estimate the size carefully. Looking back when he was sure he had it, to see Syus circling Loch and eyeing the collar, “What if that shocks him?”
Cell Five “Magic?” Shaking his head as he faced the woman fully, now that she didn’t pose a threat. “I didn’t take your bow nor do I know why we are here. However I agree with…” he trailed off trying to remember the man’s name. “Him.” He finally managed to say with a nod giving up on trying to recall it.
“I am Jarel, and this blue fire fox is Cosmo,” as he spoke of the fox, it moved to his shoulder and then looked to Kasius and the woman in the cell. It’s yellow eyes didn’t even seem to blink as Jarel then made himself comfortable on the floor. A blue flame was around his wrist, and a small flame like string trailed up towards the fox.
‘Pretty sure he has magic… she gave a small shrug taking a step back from them both. Bending her left arm she closed her eyes, “I am Nakarah of Suparu-Mura.” Putting her arm down she gave a small smile, “It is how we introduce ourselves from where I am from.”
Cell Six Raising an eyebrow to the woman who had suddenly appeared by their cell he looked to his horned companion. “Told you I didn’t bring us here!” He then looked back towards the woman when she mentioned a lord to the place they were stuck in.
Glaring at the white haired woman when she called him Fangs he took two steps towards her before Zenos blocked his way. Their eyes locked in a stare down before Magnus put his hands up in surrender. Revealing his fangs as he crossed his arms and glared towards the two females. “Yeah I have a few questions for you-”
“Demanding answers like that wont get us anywhere, try to relax. With her getting cleaned up the smell shouldn’t be as strong,” trying to keep his voice down as his eyes bored into the young demon causing them to shift uneasily. Seeing the demon still scared of him made him chuckled before looking back to Edyn. “I am sorry about him, when it comes to blood he can’t help himself,” smiling to Edyn as he took a few steps forward, though being cautious of the white haired woman in their cell. “If I may inquire something from you since your master wouldn’t want one of his guests drained of blood before they get a chance to meet with us.” He could hear Magnus scoff under his breath, but ignored them. “As for questions, may you tell us where we are? Will we be waiting long to see your master?”
Growling lowly Magnus starred away from the three and towards a wall. Though he couldn’t help on listening on some of the conversation. ‘At least he is asking some important questions. Though I wouldn’t like to see the food they give out here. Probably prisoner food,’ closing his eyes he leaned against the wall, trying to now tune them out.
Cell Seven “They are here as well then?” Taking the offered hand, he shook it and released, “I am Zamar and my brother’s name is Zami. I am sure if he’s in a cell it may be with your friends, at least I think he is here. I didn’t see him actually disappear…”
The cell seemed bare and cold with just them in it, looking to the bars he wondered how they would get out. ‘Hopefully Zami is alright,’ running a hand through his red hair he looked back to Quintus, “Seems we could be here awhile, unless you have a plan to get out. If not guess we could get to know each other better.”

Cell 1[/u]
“I was seeing if they gave any” Balgrim narrowed his eyes at the blonde who moved from the bars. Having worked with metal most of his life he was sure he could figure out a weakness in the bars.
When the redhead suggested that he punch the wall he raised an eyebrow suspiciously at him, he felt that he wasn't human like he was and he was asking him to do the work? Well, whatever got them out of this box fast enough.
“There's no way in hell that I'm punching a wall, my hands are my life, but…” he looked at the back wall of the cell and studied it for a moment before giving a high and hard kick to the center. Dust and small pebbles fell from the ceiling and walls but the wall didn't look any different, maybe one of the tiles had a crack in it but he wasn't sure if that was there already.
“Well I’m sure I loosened something but not something that we need” he knocked on the wall he just kicked. “Why don't you give it a try?” he looked at the redhead, completely ignoring the blonde who was doing their own thing.
Cell 2[/u]
Riku grinned seeing the girl smile, “I’m a kitsune, my name is Riku” her ears perked up when she asked about the trick, “of course!” She watched the middle of the cell as some sort of fox appeared out of an odd haze. “That's so cool!” Riku jumped out of the girl's lap and walked near the odd fox, circling around it, “is it like a real fox?”
Yume nodded and reached for her boots and put them back on, “you have a good point, I was just looking for something that disappeared” she frowned slightly. She watched the other fox seemingly form out of nowhere, blinking a few times, “Didn't see that coming” she laughed, “my name is Yume, and you've met Riku” she nodded toward the curious purple and black fox.
Arcana saw the fox form and immediately got excited, “it's so cute! Can I pet it? Oh, I’m Arcana by the way” she said with a smile, forgetting that she was just arguing with Yume a moment ago.
Cell 3[/u]
“Aria is a pretty name,” Noir said with a smile, “you don't have to be afraid of us, we don't bite” he laughed. He tilted his head when she mentioned a dark prince, “Prince? I don't have a Prince where I’m from so maybe we're from different places?” he frowned slightly at the thought, trying to be as sincere as he could.
“Prince?” the word brought Kuthin back from his thoughts, “I have one from my homeland. In fact, I was with him when we all got separated, though Kasius is no “dark prince” as you described, he's the exact opposite” his brows furrowed thinking about Kasius bring a dark prince. He didn't like it.
“So it seems we're all from different places,” Noir chimed in, interrupting Kuthin’s thoughts, “hopefully we can all work together so we can find a way out of here...wherever here is,” he said looking around the cell.
Kuthin watched Noir for a moment before looking to Aria, ‘he seems fishy, I hope I can trust her.’
Cell 4[/u]
Loch frowned but forced a smile when they introduced themselves, “it's nice to meet you guys,” he looked down towards the collar like thing even as he couldn't see it, “I don't know about glued shut but it won't come off” he pulled at the collar again but it barely budged, “its pretty snug as well” .
He felt around it for some sort of keyhole or seam but felt nothing. “I can say one thing though, I think it's cutting off my magic, I'm unable to use it, at all” he tried forcing something to his hands again but felt nothing at all, giving a defeated sigh.
At this point he didn't care if it shocked him to get it off, not having his magic felt...odd, fearing what else it was blocking or nullifying.
Cell 5[/u]
Kasius smiled when Nakarah introduced herself, ‘maybe I should have formally introduced myself’ “It's nice meeting you both” though he was sure Jarel didn't care, only paying attention to Cosmo, who did not blink at all, it was a little unsettling, but what could he do?
He turned to the cell bars and saw that there was no exit or entrance, “that's a bit disturbing…” he muttered under his breath. He couldn't think of the last time he was in a room with no doors. “Nakarah, do you think you would be small enough to go through the bars? I think Jarel and I would be too big for it” It was a thought that could work, and if it did at least someone would be free.
Cell 6[/u]
Edyn kept a smile on her face as she watched the two males bickered, as the female was upset with the amount of blood coming off of her. She chuckled, “please ask away, I'm sure this situation is not pleasant to anyone who arrived here”
“Are you asking about your current location here in this cell? Or whereas in realm or world? I’ll answer both anyway,” she laughed, “you are in my homeworld known as Gaia, you just happened to be located in one of the many underground cells connected to the kingdom” Her smile was sweet and innocent like what she said was normal and nothing wrong at all. “When you see my master depends on how fast you get out of this cell, it is a test to see if you are worthy enough to see him”
“Hold up” Ice spoke up, angrier than before and stepping up to the cell bars, “Homeworld, as in another world? So your “master” abducted us and won't even give us the time of day until we prove were worthy and escape this cell?”
“That is the general gist of it,” Edyn said with a slight nod, “though abducted is such a harsh word, to describe it, I like to think of it as you were chosen” she grinned.
Ice stared at her like she was crazy, even though she might possibly be, or just brainwashed by this “master” or “Lord”.
Cell 7[/u]
“I can only assume they would be here if the same dark cloud was talking them, if that is the situation I hope that there all alright, Zami included, though wishful thinking that he wasn't taken as well” he gave a small smile.
Quintus looked at the cell bars, there seemed to be a door, but no visible keys or anything to act as a lockpick. He looked at the distance of each bar and looked between him and Zamar, they were both a bit too big to fit through, even if he removed his armor.
Looking back to Zamar he smiled sheepishly, “I guess you and I are getting to know each other for the time being” he rubbed the back of his head. Remembering how his sword looked before it disintegrated got him curious, “Can I ask what you do? Or are? Your sword looked like nothing I had seen before, and I travel with a blacksmith”.

Cell One
“Humans how weak they are,” Ray mumbled to himself before glancing around to the blond haired male who seemed to be giving up on finding a way out. Shaking his head he looked back to where the muscular man had kicked the wall. They didn’t do much damage as he had hoped they would have.
Looking to the cracked tile, he frowned unsure if he could break it further. Kneeling down to the rocks that had gotten knocked loose and had fallen to the floor. He picked through them looking for something in particular. ‘This would be so much easier with our weapons,’ Ray thought as he noticed the young blond watching him. Green eyes spotted what he had been looking for near the blond male’s feet.
“Do you mind handing me that rock near feet?”
Zami looked to the small debris at his feet. There were small rocks and dust, along with a single odd shaped stone. He picked it up and walked over to the red haired male, handing it to them. “What’s it for?”
“A weapon would do this job easy, since all weapons magically disappeared this will have to do,” Ray replied not really explaining what it was for, “Thanks to big muscle here we may have a way out.”
Zami turned his head to the side as the red haired male then started to work on the cracked tile. Scraping the stone he had given them along the tile’s four edges, repeating the process over an over. Each time making the grooves more deeper than they originally were.
Satisfied that it would come off with little effort, he looked to Balgrim once more, “This shouldn’t harm your hands now that it is loosened. Just need you to move it then maybe we can get more loose and get out of here that way.”
Cell Two
“Nice to meet you,” Haiz replied with a small smile, they seemed really interested in her ability. Something that she wasn’t used to, in her world it was common to have strange abilities. She had to remind herself that where they came from such abilities may not exist, “The illusion only looks real, it’ll pass through just about anything. I’m sorry…”
Feeling that she may have went too far with her ability as the kitsune’s ear twitched. Getting to her feet she looked around the cell, fully taking the area in. ‘Alone with humans, just need to stay calm,’ she reminded herself.
“Any ideas on how we can escape?” Looking to Yume and then to Arcana before her eyes fell to the kitsune Riku, “Wait, your small. Think you can slip through the bars?”
Cell Three
‘Seems there are a lot of royalty where we all come from,’ watching the white haired male before looking to Kuthin who seemed to be keeping a distance. Her brown ears lowered as she looked back to Noir, “You have a strange scent one I’m not familiar with. Where you are from must be far away from here.”
Getting to her feet she looked around the cell they were in. Feeling a little better about the situation, “I’m not sure there is a way out. I don’t think my wolf form would fit between the bars, and I don’t see any other way out.” She didn’t talk to anyone in particular, more to herself to help her think through the situation.
‘Unless I missed something,’ she looked more closely around the cell they were in, the urge to get free grew every second she was within the cell. ‘Luna…’ a small smile came to her lips at a thought from her teacher.
Moving to the bars, Aria knelt down examining the ground around the bars. Fingers trailed the stone slabs wondering just how hard the floor really was. Nails extended tracing the slab before looking outside the cell bars, trying to break through the stone slab. ‘Too hard to dig through,’ she glanced to the cell where the bars met the wall, ‘I wonder how weak it is there.’
Getting back to her to her feet Aria headed to the left side of the cell and examined the stone between the bars. ‘There should be a weakness somewhere...just got to find it.’
Cell Four
Syus ignored the warning from Jasper and looked to the collar over. It seemed to be a never ending circle around Loch’s neck, with no way of getting it off with normal methods. Looking around the cell, mainly around the walls for something. Blue eyes caught sight of a rock, walking over to it he picked it up and walked back to Loch. “Lets see if this works, just hold still.” The stone was a perfect fit in his hand as he raised it and started to bang it on the collar.
‘There has to be a reason he has a collar, but I don’t see its purpose,’ Syus gritted his teeth putting all his effort to getting Loch free that he didn’t see that Jasper was missing from the cell.
While Syus was more worried in getting the collar off Loch. Jasper had shifted into his crow form and looked back towards the two. A small idea came to him as he looked back to the cell bars. Doing a hop walk and fluttering his black wings he then slipped past the bar and onto the other side. The place was dark and the other cells seemed empty. Doing a small fly around near the light he didn’t see any other way of getting the other two out.
Fluttering his wings he landed near the cell and slipped back through the bars. Shifting to his human form he made his way to Loch and Syus, “Any luck?”
Syus nearly jumped and dropped the rock in the process onto his foot. Glad it wasn’t a heavy rock he glared at Jasper. He was too into trying to get the collar off he didn’t even see Jasper walk towards them. Shaking his head and picking up the rock, he looked to the collar on where he had been hitting it. There was no scratch or dent and it didn’t seem to help at all. “Seems really stuck.”
“Okay my turn then,” Jasper said with a small smile, “Just stay still Loch, we’ll get you free. Syus hit the collar with the rock again.”
Syus looked to Jasper confused as fur started to sprout from the male’s skin and covering their face. White dog ears moved up into place, when it was complete what stood on all fours before them was a white wolf with amber eyes. Only a hint of grey could be seen.
The wolf then jumped at Loch, his sharp teeth aiming for the collar. When he was sure the metal was in his jaws and not Loch’s skin, he bit down as hard as he could. He didn’t have to look at Syus to know he was striking on the other side with the rock trying to get it free.
Syus’ free hand held onto Loch’s shoulder so they wouldn’t move too much. His blue eyes focused on one part of the collar as he struck it over and over. ‘I think Jasper has some explaining to do when we are done,’ he looked to Loch before striking the collar once more with all his strength.
Cell Five
“I was working on a plan,” Jarel mumbled as he nodded to Cosmo ready for the fox to try something. ‘I hope this works,’ he looked to Cosmo who jumped off his shoulder and headed through the bars. When it was three feet away from the bars it tried to grow in size once more, only to hiss in pain as before. Then the blue light was gone as if snuffed out. Frowning Jarel shrugged and looked to Nakarah, “Was worth a shot. Guess we go with plan B..”
‘I was hoping on Jarel’s idea to work…’ Nakarah thought looking to Kasius. She didn’t want to leave them, but they were counting on her to find a way to get them free. “I’ll try,” she said with a small nod and walked to the cell bars.
From what she could tell, she would be able to fit through but it would be a tight squeeze. Crouching low she gripped the bar with her left hand before wiggling and moving her body through. Sucking in as she got herself halfway, she then fell over onto the other side. Realizing she had been holding her breath, she slowly released it and looked around the outside of the cell.
“I am not doing that again,” she mumbled not seeing anything of use to get them out. “I’ll see if there is anything around to help free you,” she looked to Kasius before venturing further into the cave.
“Be careful!” Jarel called worried for the woman as he looked to Kasius, ‘I hope it’s not long..’ Moving to his feet, a little upset that Cosmo had disappeared on him. It was nothing new for the fire spirit.
Cell Six
“Your saying there are cells like this spread through this world we are on?” Zenos asked shocked by the calmness in the woman’s voice.
Magnus growled as he approached the cell bars, gripping them tightly. “I am not your puppet, let me out of this cell or I will kill them both.” He warned her baring his fangs, he ignored Ice and he was sure he heard Zenos hiss something under his breath.
“Magnus are you trying to get yourself killed?” Zenos shook his head, confused on his friends attitude all of a sudden. ‘Jarel we could really use you.’ Red eyes looked to Ice, he couldn’t tell her that Magnus was joking for he never knew the demon to have a sense of humor.
Looking to Edyn, Zenos frowned, “I think he is just hun-”
“Don’t assume Zenos, I want out of this cell. If killing you gets me there so be it,” Magnus growled turning to Zenos.
Red eyes narrowed, though sadness lingered, “Magnus don’t do this..” Zenos frowned he had never seen Magnus act this way before. He couldn’t be certain if it was the human covered in blood, or the fact of Jarel not at the demon’s side. ‘Please don’t break my barrier…’ Zenos thought watching Magnus closely.
Cell Seven
“There seems no way out,” Zamar said watching Quintas as they looked to the bars. He gave a small sigh, running a hand through his red hair.
“What I once was would be the best term,” Zamar replied, looking around the cell still. ‘Where there is a door, there must be a key.’ Gold eyes still scanned the area as he continued, “The weapon you saw is called a Katana, on my world where my brother and I are from we were once Samurai. But that was a long time ago…”
“You have nothing like it where you are from?” Zamar frowned, he was sure it was a well known sword style. He looked back to Quintas, he had never ran into anyone with armor before which made him a little curious of where the knight had came from.
“What about you? I haven’t seen anyone in armor before. Is your home that dangerous to need it?”

Cell 1
Balgrim watched the redhead work on the stone time that he cracked. He raised an eyebrow seeing what he was doing, “ah I see what your getting at” he grinned and waited for him to finish with the tile. One done Balgrim placed himself in front of it and cracked his knuckles.
“Stand back” he said calmly, before getting into a stance and throwing a strong punch into the brick, punching it out that it went flying into the next room, moving the surrounding stone tiles with it, a few on the top falling out without its support, making a window into the next cell with...people?
“Didn't see that coming…” He said a bit surprised, shaking out the first that punched the wall.
Cell 2
“Aww,” Arcana pouted, “at least it's still cute,” she said looking over the fox, a smile replacing the pout.
“You sure do switch through emotions real quick” Yume laughed watching the Pinkette.
“What do you mean?” Arcana looked back to Yume, tilting her head to the side curiously.
“N-nevermind…” Yume looked from Arcana to Riku, “Riku seems to be our only attempt of escape from here,” she knelt down in front of her fox friend, “you up for the task?”
Riku nodded, “Yes ma'am!” she saluted to Yume and the two laughed together. She looked to the bars of the cell and looked back to Yume who looked at her worriedly, “I’ll be fi-” Yume scooped her up into her arms and hugged her.
“Be careful, and come back if anything happens”
Riku nuzzled her cheek and jumped out of her arms, “I will, now, wish me luck”. Riku jumped through the bars with ease and looked back to the three girls before running down the dark corridor.
“I guess we just wait now...or think of another way…” Yume looked back to Arcana and Haize.
Arcana looked at the cell bars and stepped up to them and wrapped her hands around two bars, “I don't think this will help or work, but I wanna try something my master taught me” she took a deep breath and closed her eyes, “master Loch, please look after me…” she whispered before going silent in concentration.
Yume tilted her head and looked at Haize and shrugged, “why don't we search the walls for something?”
Cell 3
“Wolf form?” Kuthin looked at Aria confused, “you're a shapeshifter?”
Noir laughed and put an arm around Kuthin, “silly, you've never seen a werewolf before?”
Kuthin delicately removed Noirs arm and stepped away from the odd man, “no, those are just old tales mothers tell their kids to keep them from staying out late” ‘says the man who controls elemental magic and travels with a dragon’ he mentally mocked himself.
“I guess you don't have them where you come from” Noir frowned placing a hand on his chin looking between them, “such a shame Whitey” he shook his head sadly.
“ “Whitey?” My name is Kuthin, not “Whitey” “ he narrowed his eyes at them. He he had the ability to use his magic he would have blasted this fool into the wall.
Cell 4
Loch didn't like the way things were going, “I'm not going to like this he muttered” trying to keep as still as he could as Syus worked at the collar with a rick, flinching slightly when the rock made an impact to the collar.
He was momentarily glad he didn't have his magic, sure that he would eventually have a sensory overload and accidentally attack Syus who was only trying to help. Even though he was helping with the thing that was cutting off his magic, so it was a double edge sword. He eventually had to close his eyes from the rock hitting the collar.
Hearing Jasper suddenly he opened one eye after Syus stopped hitting the collar, Loch opened his mouth to suggest something when he paused, watching Jasper turn from a human form, into a large white wolf. Oh no. hearing the words “stay still” wanted to make him do the opposite and being tackled to the ground was not helping.
“OK! L-lets try to focus on getting out of here!” He felt his voice crack as he tried to push the large white wolf of him.
Cell 5
Kasius watched as Cosmo made its way out of the cell slipping between the bars and hiss in pain before disappearing as if it never existed. His stomach twisted in a knot. Maybe sending Nakarah out on her own wasn't such a good idea. But she was already halfway through the bars when the thought occurred.
Going to the bars as she made her way down the shadowy cave he watched her go, “be careful Nakarah!” he failed at what else he could say to her as she ventured on her own at his request. He sighed and turned his back to the bars facing Jarel, “Will Cosmo be alright?” a hint of concern in his voice.
Cell 6
“Of course, there are cells everywhere, some are even occupied with chosen ones as well” Edyen said with a chuckle. All signs of her cheery attitude drained from her hearing Magnus threatening the safety of those with him. “Oh, that won't do…” she spoke in a serious quiet tone.
“Of course it won't do!” Ice yelled grabbing onto the bars, no longer concerned of cleaning off the blood. “I don't like the idea of coming off a job, being kidnapped to another world and being threattend by someone who has attitude issues!”
Edyn sighed, she wasn't having fun anymore. She put a hand to her chin, tapping her thumb on her cheek, “I suppose we could isolate him in his own cell, and leave you two alone. Or we could always add him in with the cell that has two occupants”. A sound coming from the other side of the cell caught her attention, making her step back further from the cell bars.
With a loud bang, a brick tile from the back wall went flying into the cell bars between Ice and Magnus, creating a large dent into the bars bending them out towards Edyn stopping just inches away from where she was.
Ice froze feeling the rush of air pass by her from the brick slamming into the cell bars, shaking slightly from the near-death experience that could have ended it all. She back away from the bars and watched the stone brick that was lodged in the bars fall to the floor and split in two.
“Oh my” Edyn chuckled, a grin back on her face, “Cell 1 is making a prison break” she laughed, seeing a confused male with tanned skin and brown hair look at the hole in the wall in surprise.
Cell 7
“Katana? Samurai? We have nothing like that at home, or of what I'm aware of” he tilted his head thinking back to the many professions he's seen on his travels with his friends and the royal family.
“My armor?” following after Zamar Quintus removed one of his gloves and reached around the door to feel what kind of lock the door had and if it could be easily picked, “this is a lighter version of the royal guard armor. I’m the princes personal guard and was traveling with him when we were separated”
He paused for a moment to think what would be dangerous enough to wear armor, “as for dangerous, does wild animals, assassins and raids count? There's also the occasional monster but that's another story” he laughed sheepishly.
“This feels like it needs some sort of skeleton key, but I think somethings jammed inside” he pushed himself into the bars trying to feel in the key hole as much as his armor allowed him. ‘worse comes to worse I’ll remove my armor…’ "Just what does a Saumari do? Well, what did you do as one?" he glanced back to Zamar.

Cell Two
The sound of Yume’s voice snapped her out of her thoughts as she was tempted to send the illusion after Riku. But knew it would be pointless, even if it did help in making the little fox less afraid she would have no way of knowing if Riku was alright or not. Letting out a soft sigh she let the illusion disappear as she focused on trying to find a way out. The pink haired girl seemed more interested in the bars, and she was certain that whoever had them in here wouldn’t want that the be the most obvious way to get out. Looking to the black haired girl she gave a small smile.
“Do you think there is a loose brick somewhere along the walls?” Walking to one of the walls, she felt around for anything out of the ordinary. She frowned as she thought of something, “Since we may be here a while, why don’t we tell a little on where we came from?” She glanced to Yume as her fingers trailed along the tiles.
“I’ll go first,” her eyes narrowed as she looked to the tiles in front of her. One had felt slightly different from the rest, and she wasn’t too sure on the cause of it. “Where I come from is dark, our only light are torches, lanterns and a red sun that never sets, maybe it’s more of a moon?” She frowned trying to think on it, she had never really seen a sun, or ventured outside their realm before. “Anyway, there is a castle that sits in the middle of my town, it’s a nice place despite a few things.” Haiz smiled sadly at the friends that were there, she wondered how they were doing. Letting out a small sigh she looked back towards Yume, “What about you?”
Her hands still traced around the stone her fingers had found wondering if it held any significance before letting Yume she may have found something.
Cell Three
“Half werewolf,” she corrected Noir a little bitterly, her tail moved side to side in annoyance as she listened to the two. Finding it odd that Noir seemed to want intel on them but not giving any on himself. Making a small mental note of it she continued, “Believe me there is a difference, and they happily point it out.” Her ear twitched as she looked to Kuthin, ignoring the demon for now.
“I believe the weak spot to this cell is here,” she pointed to the side before the bars met the wall, “It could be the other side as well. My best bet is if we work together to push on the weak points the bars may just fall to the floor letting us escape.”
‘Then I can be free of the weird creep…’ she thought ignoring the chill as much as she could that the guy was starting to give her. She was still on edge on Kuthin on weather she could trust him or not, though she hoped once out they would go their separate ways. ‘I wonder if the demon will follow Kuthin...then I can try to figure out where the hell I am..’
Cell Four
Syus shrugged and tossed the rock across the floor, in doing so he noticed that Jesper he chased after the rock, pounced onto it and held it in his mouth as he looked back towards him. “Okay you have a way of getting out?” He had tried his best to ignore Jesper as he let the rock fall to his paws, obviously feeling a little embarrassed of the action.
The wolf looked from Loch to Syus and back again, before slowly shrinking as fur was replaced with black feathers, and his eyes becoming small round darkness. When it was done he let out a loud caw before flying to Loch’s shoulders and glancing out of the bars. ‘Not seeing anything shiny around…’
“Now he is a crow?” Syus frowned as he watched the bird glare at him with his black emotionless eyes. It was hard to tell what the bird really thought without being able to really express it on their face. Running a hand threw his blond hair he looked back towards Loch, “Sorry about the collar, it seems to be really on there. I’m sure Jesper thought it was a trust exercise in getting it off…”
Jesper wanted to correct Syus in calling him a crow, he was more of a raven then a crow. They were only slightly bigger and sometimes meaner. He pound his feathers on one wing as he thought on how to get them out of the cell. Knowing shiny objects were the birds especially in finding, he had hoped a key or something helpful would be just out of reach for him to at least get and bring it back.
Cell Five
‘I don’t know how to get those two out…’ Nakarah let out a soft sigh as she felt the cool breeze come from somewhere far off from her. The tunnel was dark and she had been using the side of the cave as a guide to get out. Trying to follow the breeze as best as she could.
Looking over her shoulder she saw no dim light of the over head light that had hung just a little ways from their cell. She frowned in hoping she could find her way back, taking a few deep breaths she slowly moved on.
‘What is that?’ she frowned as she slowly moved towards what looked to be light in the mouth of the cave. Getting closer she saw it had became a big cave cavern with a ledge that a luminous light seemed to be coming from within. She slowly inched towards the edge and looked into the pool of water, it seemed something was causing it to shimmer. Looking around the area there seemed to be other caves, not sure on where they lead, she quickly marked the one she would need to return to help the other two.
‘This place is getting more strange…’ she then jumped as something heavy appeared on her back causing her to freeze as she was sure it was a figure. “I-” she was going to say she didn’t do anything yet, but turning around there was no one there yet the weight was still there. Slowly she moved a hand to her shoulder feeling something wooden and then a string that ran down her chest and connected the other side of the wooden object. A small smile came to her lips as she took the item off her back and examined it in the cool dim light of the cave lights. “My bow…” she then frowned as she glanced back towards the entrance of the cave she had exited. Carefully she stepped back into the darkness only for the bow and her arrows to disappear yet again. She frowned as she emerged back into the lit room. ‘I see...so it’s only temporary…’
Licking her finger she put it into the air closing her eyes as she tried to figure out where the wind she was feeling was coming from. Her eyes then opened as she then headed down the closest cave to her marking it as she then started down it. Keeping to the walls.
It had taken her some time to reach the main cave entrance. The felt cool and good as she slowly approached the entrance, keeping low as she looked to the sides expecting to see guards posted. A puzzled look showed on her face as there were no guards, and they had been underground. The night stars shone brightly, but none looked familiar. Pushing back the fear that started to boil up to the surface, she focused around the entrance for anything that might get Kasius and Jarel out.
Nakarah felt exposed, even keeping to the odd trees and shrubs near the cave. A chill ran down her spine as she felt she was being watched. For sometime she had been checking the mouth of the cave for anything shiny or an indication of a key. The leaves, gaps in the rock, and vines hid nothing that would help her.
Gritting her teeth in frustration she looked to the graveled ground at her feet as it was engulfed in grass. The gravel looked like it had been placed long ago, but what caught her eye was a palm sized rock. It matched the kind of rock on the mouth of the cave. In frustration she kicked the rock, sending it flying to the nearest tree. It shattered on impact and something gleamed for a split second before being engulfed in the darkness. ‘Great…’ looking around to see if anyone or thing had heard the impact of the rock before walking to where the shiny item had fallen.
‘Please let this be the key…’ Nakarah hoped as she slung the bow back onto her back and knelt down to the earth rummaging her hands into the dirt for the key. The ring on her finger glowed softly, making it a little easier to find the shiny object.
The light reflected off something some paces away, a breath of relief escaped her lips, only to quickly disappear into fear as she saw it wasn’t one glistening item but two. Placing a hand on the ground to steady herself, she slowly reached for her quiver of arrows. Her fingers trailing their feathers, her bow she knew would be too big of a movement for whatever it was ahead of her. Mentally cursing herself for not being prepared for this odd strange world. The shiny item had distracted her. The eyes didn’t waver as the eyes then came charging at her. In the darkness it was hard to see anything else but the eyes.
“It disappeared knowing it couldn’t help much, though I’m sure it’s a little mad at me for getting it in a bad situation,” Jarel replied with a small shrug, “It does this from time to time, but it should be alright.” Shrugging his shoulders he looked around for any other way out, frowning, ‘Seems our fate may be on Nakarah’s hands…’
Crossing his arms he looked to his cellmate, “What do we do while we wait?”
Cell One merge Cell Six (Until they are all inside cell 6)
Crossing his arms over his face to protect himself from Magnus, he glanced to the two woman near the bars. He knew the white haired girl was getting the wrong impression on them and wished Magnus would stop. “He’s normally not like this,” Zenos tried to explain when he heard she would put Magnus in his own cell. He was certain that would make things even more worse for the young demon.
The sound of rock scrapping and then the loud bang from the stone hitting the bars, echoed off the walls. The brick had missed Magnus only by inches. Red eyes looked to the new hole in their cell, he was certain that he had heard voices on the other side. Though none sounded familiar to him. However Magnus was now more concerned about the hole and had moved closer to investigate it.
Zenos moved closer to the bars, looking to Edyn, “This cell is about to get crowded, and I really don’t know how long Magnus’ rage or whatever you want to call it will be sidetracked. How do we get out of this dang cell?”
“Nearly there,” came a voice from the other cell as scratching sounds were heard, copying the same thing he had done to the original brick. “Muscle here can’t fit through the gap, though I suppose you could.”
‘What? Who are they sending over? And who is 'Muscle'?’ Magnus frowned as he peered into the hole in time to see a blond haired male try to squeeze through the hole. “Out of the way...who else is with you?”
“Nice to meet you too…” Zami mumbled as he tried to wiggle into the other cell, “Help me out and look for yourself.”
“Don’t order me around,” Magnus warned grabbing the boy’s arm and heaving them out of the hole letting them go so they could fall to the floor and moved the boy’s feet. He then peered into the hole again, with a small frown, “Jarel you there?”
“Not sure who Jarel is, not sure if muscles here is called Jarel, but you may want to stand back from the wall,” Ray warned as he finished the next block and looked to Balgrim, “Think you can do that again?”
Magnus and Zami moved away from the wall. “Those behind us, watch out!” Zami called as he looked towards the bars, a small frown on his lips as he realized they had barged into another cell and not to freedom.
Cell Seven
“I’m not sure how others were, only how we were trained. Originally we were apart of a tight knit group known as the Shade Dragons,” giving a small right shoulder shrug he continued, “There they practice the sword to protect life than to just take life with a blade.”
“My brother and I had taken a small break and traveled the world, made friends…” putting his hand to the scar tissue on the left side of his chest. Remembering some of the battles they had also had there. Zamar let out a soft sight, “Then we had left that life to live in a city. Putting what we were behind us…”
Walking to the knight’s side he frowned a little, realizing they were a foot taller than he had expected. “Need help?” Zamar gave a small smile up at him, “I don’t have bulky armor on, and something tells me you would hate to have it removed if it could be avoided.” As if to read Quintus’ mind he added, “I feel the same with my own weapon gone, you never really get used to it never being around.. It’s like a part of you.”

Cell 2
“I’m not entirely sure, everything looks the same to me..” Yume said looking at the tiled wall in front of her, it hardly looked like there was any difference in them aside from the occasional crack here and there.
She listened to Haize as she described her home. It was nothing like she had ever heard of, just what kind of pace has a red sun, or moon? She had many questions but this may not be the time to ask. “My current home is a large city, filled with people everywhere. It's always busy and has really tall buildings. I find it really boring now but my brother likes it and I live with him so…” she trailed off looking back at Arcana who was backing away from the bars.
Arcana tilted her head and looked towards Haize and Yume, “I think I found something...give me a boost?” the pinkette looked at Yume with a grin. Confused, Yume nodded slowly going over to her and gave Arcana a boost as she stepped up using her hands. Arcana reached up and smacked a tile that was just above the cell bars hitting it into the wall.
Setting Arcana down there was a loud clunk noise and rumble, “what did you do?..”
Arcana looked at them and smiled sheepishly, “honestly, I have no id-” the ground below them shifted before it gave way underneath them, sending the three crashing down into a lower hallway.
“E-everyone alright?” Yume asked pushing off some of the stone floor that was surprisingly not that heavy.
“Peachy…” Arcana grumbled as she dug herself out of a pile of stone.
The three girls seemed to have dropped into a large Hall lit by candels lit along the walls in front of them leading down to a wooden door with elegant patterns carved into it, frantic scratching came from behind the door. The light seemed to stop where they had landed, dimly showing a hallway that was dark but had some sort of light source at the very end, the laughter of a child could be heard echoing down the hall.
Riku walked down the dark, occasionally lit up by torches, hallway that only contained nothing but cracked stone and the occasional weed growing in the cracks in the floor. She looked around, twitching her ears as she tried to listened for anything that could help her find out where they were, or how she could get the three girls out of the cell.
She was tempted to either hum or just talk to herself to cut the silence that the hallway carried. Down the long hallway she saw a cluster of torches lighting up the hallway and what seemed to be...a person! Or so she hoped. “Wait up!” She called out to them running down the long hallway.
Cell 3
“Someone's really touchy” Noir said trying not to smirk. Walking to the cell bars he gave them a hard push and saw that they did indeed move some. ‘so were in cell number thirty-eight...’. Looking back at Aria, slightly surprised, “just how did you know that would work?”
Kuthin not believing that just simply pushing on some bars could work but when he himself pushed he also felt the bard move, ever so slightly, “interesting…”
“What, didn't believe me Whitey?” Noir sounded hurt looking at the white haired male.
“Its Kuthin, and no, I didn't believe you” he saw Noir frown but ignored the annoying male. “Really, how did you know this would work?” he eyed Aria suspiciously.
Noir let the two talk as he began to push harder onto the bars, putting his body into it.
Cell 4
“He’s a shapeshifter?” Loch asked surprised, watching Jesper turn from wolf to raven, he was only aware of people who could only turn into one animal, not several and chance from animal to animal. His cellmates began to interest him.
“All is fine Syus, I’m sorry for panicking like that,” he rubbed the back of his head, “most of my magic when its not sealed,” if he could look at the collar like object he would be glaring at it, “is mostly emotional based. So even the smallest emotion would spark something, I wouldn't want to hurt you guys…” he sighed ‘or have anything else unlock that was bound by magic…’.
“Jesper do you see anything that could be useful to us? Or anyone at all? I find it hard to believe that were down here all by ourselves” He was with a party of six and he believed that they were nearby somewhere.
Down one side of the corridor off into the darkness was a loud crashing sound that sounded like a cave in making the floor rumble slightly and far off on the opposite side was the faint sounds of voices arguing, the corridors carrying their voices as far as they could go.
Cell 5
Kasius nodded after his explanation, “I see, well who can blame it” he sighed glancing where Nakarah escaped to, hoping to see the girl back at the bars even though she had just left. “I suppose we only have two real options, sit and wait or try to find a way out ourselves”. He placed a hand on his chin as he studied the bard and walls, thinking what his friends would do in this situation.
His thoughts were interrupted when a small black and purple animal ran passed them before backtracking to look at the two men in the cell, “aw man, more people in cells?” It sighed.
“It talks” Kasius blinking kneeling down in front of the small creature.
“I’m not an “it” the names Riku” she glared at the brunette. “I swore i saw someone running passed here” she looked around for what she thought she saw.
Kasius watched Riku closely, unsure if he could trust it or not, unsure if this thing was an enemy or not.
Rikus ears perked up hearing a rumbling noise coming from the direction she had just come from. Looking back she lowered her ears, hoping that Yume and the other two with her were safe, they were safely within a cell right?
“Just how the heck did you two get in here? Who are you anyway? Why are there only two of you?” she looked between the two as she asked her questions.
“You sure do ask a lot of personal questions for some unknown talking creature…” Kasuis looked at Jarel unsure if they could trust the passing creature.
“I told you my name is Riku, I’m a kit not just some creature” she growled.
Cell 1-6
A playful smile came to Edyns lips as she watched someone emerge through the hole in the wall. Returning her attention back to Zenos, “Each cell has three ways, a easy, difficult and a secret way” she held up three fingers and she listed the difficulties. “I can assure you people have escaped, aside from one...mishap…” she eyed a cell that was just out of sight, “but think of the bright side!” she grinned, “you have three more heads to think of a way out”
“Just what we need…” Ice mumbled overhearing Edyn say three more people would be joining them after only seeing one emerge from the hole. He piqued her interest though, that blonde head of hair looked familiar, either that or he looked like a past kill. Either way she was going to wait until the other two came though, keeping close to the bars and wall that they weren't busting through.
Balgrim waited until Zami left through the hole, ‘small little guy’ he thought to himself. He grinned preparing for what he was going to next, “the names Balgrim, and you better have heeded his word!” instead of punching or kicking the wall he rammed through the whole thing scattering rocks, rubble and lots of dust through the neighboring cell. He stumbled a little as he stopped midway through the cell and looked around as he dusted himself off, “no one i'm familiar with” he frowned, expecting to see at least one familiar face, even Kuthin’s would suffice.
He looked at Edyn confused, “an escapee?” she was on the other side of the bars that they broken into, slightly upset that it was another damn cell but at least they weren't alone.
“More like our captor, one of his lackeys actually” Ice said waving a cloud of dust away from her.
“Well think of the brighter side, you now have five possible ways of escaping since you now have a second cell to go through” Edyn giggled watching the cellmates interact.
Ice glared at the giggling woman, wishing she was a little closer to the bars to grab her.
Cell 7
“So, you kinda like a knight” Quintus laughed, “we share the same ideals, rather protecting life then killing it”
He listed to Zamar talk as he tried once more before moving away from the cell door so Zamar could try, “if you would” Quintus laughed sheepishly because of his armor.
“How come you and your brother left your friends and went to the city? Did you all do the same?” he couldn't imagine being away from his friends, even though he was away from them now he knew they would be reunited soon.
He kept a hand on the empty belt loop that once held his sword,he was right, it was odd having something you were so used to having suddenly gone. Quintus shook his head at thoughts of his sword and focused on the door.
“It feels like there's something jammed inside the lock, it was sharp enough to prick my finger, hopefully that's all it is” he muttered under his breath, “but does indeed feel like it needs a skeleton key, let's just pray to the gods that that thing isn't the key..” he looked around the cell to see if there was something they could use to the key itself, feeling around for any odd tiles in the walls and feeling the ones close to the floor.

Cell Three
A tint of red flooded her cheeks as she watched her two cellmates. ‘Trust doesn’t seem to come naturally to these two,’ she gave a small shrug and looked back to the bars, “The metal looked familiar to the metal we use back home in our own holding cells. My parents are blacksmiths so we study metal expose any weakness and make them stronger. Anyway, the cells back home have only one weakness and that is the sides, this we had fixed using another method.”
Aria looked to Noir who had been working on getting the bars to loosen. Taking the bars into her hands, she then helped push on the weak spot, digging her feet to gain some leverage as she used all her strength. She could hear the rock wanting to give way which drove her to keep going.
Cell Four
“Seems the ones pulling the strings knew this and put this on you,” Syus replied shaking his head before glancing towards the blackbird still perched on Loch’s shoulder.
Looking to the blond-haired demon, Jesper turned his head to the side before looking to Loch. ‘Right Jailbreak.’ Focusing he listened around them, tuning out Syus who was becoming impatient. The sound of rumbling and voices were faint as they echoed off the walls. ‘So there are others around,’ fluttering down to the bars he looked back to Loch turned his head cawed and slipped through the bars with ease.
“You can’t leave us here!” Syus called moving to the bars glaring at the Raven, who had then turned to face him and seemed to be glaring back. “Fine do what you must, but if you leave us here…”
Jesper rolled his eyes and shook his head before taking off into the direction of the sound. ‘If there are others maybe we can work together.’
Watching the bird leave into the darkness, Syus looked back to Loch as he leaned against the bars, “Do you think he’ll come back?”
Gliding cautiously as to not fly into a wall, Jesper slowly went to his wolf form. Glad to have his wolf eyes to see into the darkness of the tunnels, he then searched the floor for any scent. What he discovered chilled his blood, and made him stop in his tracks. ‘We aren’t the first,’ the scent was old and faint no new scent seemed to hover around him.
Looking ahead he noticed a cell to his left, with caution he slowly approached it. The cell appeared empty, remembering the screams Jesper looked down to discover a hole in the cell’s floor. Shrinking down to his raven form he squeezed through the bars and quickly opened his wings and started to hover down into the darkness below. ‘Did they survive?’
Cell Two
When the ground had shook, Haize frantically tried to hold onto anything to keep herself from falling. Nails dug into the rock from the floor as she fell screaming with the others, landing roughly into the dim darkness below. Her eyes adjusted as she released the rocks she had been holding for dear life, Haize rubbed her head as she got to her feet.
“I’m okay,” Haiz replied looking to the door that the scratches were coming from, taking a step back from it, “I don’t think we should open that door…” She looked towards the dark tunnel behind them unsure if that way was any safer.
Red eyes then looked up towards their cell, thinking she had heard something above but the sound had disappeared as soon as she had heard it. Frowning she looked back to see something black and shiny come towards Yume’s head. “Look out!” Haiz grabbed Yume and pulled her out of the way, just in time. She heard fluttering and looked to Arcana in time to see something shiny above their head.
Jesper scrambled to gain footing on what he had landed on. It was soft and not hard like the walls. He had missed his target thanks to some odd girl who had scared him. Raising to his full raven height, feathers puffed, wings extended, he let out a caw at Haiz. Little did he know the dim light made his wings look like daggers or some other small weapon.
“Arcana, don’t move…” Haiz warned her red eyes glanced to Yume wondering if the girl also was seeing what she was.
Cell Five
“It’s,” Jarel looked to the small animal before correcting himself, “She is too small to pose a threat.” Kneeling down he looked over the black and purple creature, “You look familiar from where I come from. Yet also different, tell me what we wish to know and I’ll answer your questions as best I can.”
Putting his hand out towards the little creature, not in a threatening manner. He glanced to Kasius, “We are trapped in a cell my friend until Nakarah returns maybe we can discover what this kit knows.”
Looking back to the animal, Jarel smiled to Riku, “We aren’t sure how we got here, we are both from different worlds. As for who we are, I am Jarel and my companion here is Kasius there was another but she was able to squeeze through the bars. Her name is Nakarah who is also not from where any of us come from, she had gone to find a way out, she’ll be back.” His smile faded as he looked into the darkness hoping the little creature wouldn’t take off before his questions got answered. “Now your turn my little friend, you said there were others here. Who was in your cell? Where are you headed?”
Rolling to the side just in time as the creature barreled past her, Nakarah pulled the bow from her shoulder and readied her arrow. The arrow tip glowed a soft blue as she waited for the creature to turn and face her. The creature growled as it slowly turned to face her, as if in slow motion. Nakarah’s eyes narrowed as she watched the creature, “You aren’t going to stop me from saving my cellmates!” She then let the arrow fly, and within moments there was a sharp piercing cry. Covering her ears she watched as the creature staggered on its paws, shake its head growl at her and then darted away. ‘I must find that key before it comes back..’ she had missed her mark in killing the creature, looking back to her feet she looked around for the shiny object. Using the light from an arrow in hopes to find it, a small shine caught her eye that was hidden among the small grass near the gave.
Picking it up she used the arrow to be sure it was what she was looking for. The object in her hand was indeed the key she had been looking for. Looking back behind her she was certain the animal would return. Gripping the object tightly she made her way back into the cave, hoping she could find her way back to the others. ‘This key had better work…’
Cell Six
‘This isn’t good,’ Zami grumbled looking around at their new cellmates. When there was no sign of his brother he then looked to their captor, walking towards the cell bars he glared at the woman, “No riddle or hint on how to get out of here? What are we to you, lab rats? Tell me where is my brother!”
Magnus grunted keeping close to the wall that Zami had crawled out of moments ago, he was glad he wasn’t the only one upset about the arrangements. Taking a few steps back as Balgrim knocked the rest of the wall down, his eyes narrowed not sure he could trust the big man until another had caught his eye. The red-haired male didn’t seem to skip a beat on what was going on, watching them head straight for the bars and leaned their back to them. The males green eyes scanned the room, watching them all before looking back towards the female on the other side of the bars. ‘I don’t think I like this one…’ Magnus then looked to the new blond haired male who was trying to find a way out, ‘This one, however, seems to be in a hurry to get out.’ He couldn’t blame the young male, to discover that another cell had laid just beyond the one they had broken out of had to have a devastating blow.
“What are the chances of getting out of here? Is cannibalism allowed?” Ray’s green eyes looked to Edyn, curious about her answer. The male next to him had become pale and he couldn’t help but laugh.
“Is this a game to you too?” Zami turned to his former cellmate and glared at him, “Do you not have someone you wish to see?”
Ray gave a small shrug as he smiled, baring his sharp teeth, “I doubt I have much to worry from you. To me life is always a game, it is all on how its played. I’m sure she gets it.” He jerked a thumb towards Edyn.
Staying close to Magnus, Zenos put a hand on the demon’s shoulder. “When we get out of here we should flee, maybe we can find the others and find a way back home..” he whispered not looking to the demon next to him, “I don’t think the new group is trustworthy, and you smashed all hope of trust from the white-haired girl.”
“Two on four aren’t bad odds,” he looked to Zenos, “We need our weapons..”
“Or a back door..” tugging on Magnus’s arm, Zenos started to move towards the cell that was now empty. ‘There must be something we are missing...or something that they have missed to get out of here.’
Cell Seven
Walking to the bars, Zamar placed his left hand on a bar close to the lock. His right hand fell to the old wound as he looked out into the darkness outside of their cell. “There was a bad accident, I was badly injured and was in need of a place of healing. There was no such place around I had lost a lot of blood and had fallen unconscious. I don’t know how my younger brother was able to find me, if he hadn’t I wouldn’t be here today..” gripping the bar tightly as the pain between his shoulder and bicep started to flare, Zamar closed his eyes through the pain, “At the time Zami had told me there was no time to tell anyone. If the wound wasn’t as bad as it was, I’m sure he would have told the others before we had left.”
When the pain subsided he felt around for the keyhole before poking around for the sharp object that Quintus had mentioned. “I wonder if someone lodged a knife in the keyhole,” Zamar frowned as he found the object and felt for the sharp points as to not let his fingers grab them. Finding two smooth sides he placed his fingers there and started to mess around in getting the object to turn or fall lose of the keyhole. “Maybe it's part of the lock, and what we need is a fork-shaped key?” Zamar glanced over his shoulder to Quintus as he played around with the object, ‘It definitely feels like it wants to move.’
“Anyway, by the time I was released months had passed. We were both certain that our friends had moved on. We wouldn't have known where to look,” watching to see if Quintas had found anything when the lock he had been messing with clicked. Wincing as the object in the keyhole had sliced his fingers. Pulling his hand out quickly, Zamar seethed at the sudden pain. Gripping his hand and putting pressure on the wound, he stepped away from the cell bars. “Did it just unlock?”

Cell 3
Seeing both Aira and Nior pushing on the bars and seeing that there was some sort of movement from the bars Kuthin sighed and joined them, pushing on the bars as hard as he could, hearing the iron bars groan under the pressure along with the earth that held the bars in place.
“Almost...there…” Noir grunted pushing even harder with the combined strength of all three people. Then, it gave out.
The side of the wall and floor that kept the bars in place gave in from the pressure in one side of the bars and caused a small section of the bars to snap away from the rest causing them to fall with it.
“Should have seen that coming…” Noir grumbled as he laid on the floor, not wanting to get up.
Kuthin stood up and dusted himself off and looked around them. In front of the cell was a single torch, lighting the cell and lighting what could be seen of the hallway they now stood in, both left and right ending in shadows and into the unknown.
“Great, nothing but darkness...and this thing still wont come off!” he tugged at the metal collar that remained around his neck. “I’m going this way, come along if you want” he mumbled, furious at the new situation they were in now.
Noir sat up and watched Kuthin walk to their right, “I wouldn't go down there if I were you” he warned.
Kuthin looked back at Noir annoyed as he walked into the darkness, “Well your not and you don't have t-”, he was cut off as he lost his footing and falling off the edge of a large gap in the floor, holding onto the edge for his life. “You could have told me there was a hole here!”
“Well I did say “I wouldn't go down there if-”
“Shut up and help me out here!” Kuthin interrupted Noir as he felt himself losing his grip on the floor. Noir sighed and got up, taking his time getting to Kuthin before pulling him up effortlessly, surprising the young mage.
“There we go!” he said with a gin before walking back to the torch that was on the wall and moved it closer to where Kuthin was, “I’ve seen many people go down that way and never come back, I knew it had to be something like that” he kicked a small pebble into the gap and waited for some sort of sound signifying it got to the end. There was nothing.
“I guess our only way out is down there…” Kuthin sighed.
“Which means we get to stick together!”, Noir happily chirped, “Follow me!” he said as he walked down the left side of the hallway, lighting their way.
Kuthin watched Noir walk away from them and sighed, following the annoying male while he tried to work on his collar thing.
Cell 4
“Or probably because using my magic would have gotten us out of this cell faster” Loch sughed. ‘I wonder if Kuthin or Arcana have one of these things on’ he unconsciously touched the coller thinking of the two.
Loch watched the raven fly off into the darkness as Syus called after him, “I doubt her would just leave us here, he's probably our best bet out of here or to find others who were taken here as well. I just hope they treat him with the same kindness as we have”. He hoped that his new shapeshifter friend ran into anyone else in his party except for Balgrim, there was no telling what the Blacksmith would do.
“I guess for now we have two options,” Loch crossed his arms looking at Syus, “help Jasper by finding a way out ourselves or what for his return”
Cell 2
“Well were kinda stuck then” Arcana said looking at Haize. “It’s either the door with the thing trying to get out” she looked towards the door where the scratching had stopped, like the thing behind it knew they were talking about it, or it was listening to them, “or the dark and creepy hallway that sounds like an ominous child's laughter” she pointed to the darkened hallway behind them with her thumb.
“We obviously can't go up” Yume said about to look at the ceiling they fell through before getting pulled out of the way from something by Haize, “wh-what the hell?” Yume looked the thing she momentarily saw before locking her gaze on Arcana. There was some sort of bladed creature on the girl.
Arcana froze the moment she felt something land on her, “you don't have to tell me twice”, her voice as low as a whisper , scared of the thing that made itself comfortable on her.
Yume slowly, yet carefully bent down and grabbed a piece of rubble from the ceiling in her hand, “Arcana on the count of three…” she watched the pink haired girl nod slowly, beginning to tremble. “One…” Yume stood back up and locked her eyes on the creature, two” Arcana slowed her breathing trying to calm herself for what was about to happen, “three!” Yume chucked the piece of rubble at the creature as Arcana threw herself to the side and covered her head, afraid that the creature would stay stuck to her.
Cell 5
“I've gotten scars from things smaller than her” Kasius said in response, kneeling beside him to get a better look at the kit.
Riku tilted her head, ‘he's seen others like me?’ She looked at Jarles hand, sniffing it for a moment before placing her paw in his hand, a sign of trust from her side.
“I thought I saw someone running down this hall” she confirmed for herself after she listed to what Jarle had told her. “Well, it’s nice to meet you two, even under these circumstances” her ears lowered slightly. “I was in a cell with three girls, I don't know where two fro them are from though. But there’s my best friend Yume, and there is Haize and Arcana”
“Arcana?” Kasius repeated, Riku now looking at him, “Pink hair? Red eyes? Possibly whining or complaining?”
“Sounds like you know her” she said seeing him smile.
“She’s one of my friends I was traveling with when we all got separated”
“Well she's somewhere down that hall” she looked in the direction she came from, “where ever though is a different story, everything looks the same so I don't remember if I took any turns or anything…” her ears lowered fully.
Riku looked back at the white haired male who interested her, I left the cell like your friend, trying to find a way out for them, but I came across you two instead”
“Seems like were all trying to get out” Kasius sighed, but was glad that one of his friends was sound and sounded alright.
“Were you two taken by a dark cloud thing? That’s how Yume and I got dumped into a cell” she asked, sounding annoyed by the scary memory.
Kasius nodded, “all of my friends, including myself were” she looked at Jarle, curious if he was too.
Cell 6
“Your brother?” Edyn asked looking at Zami, “he might be in one of our other cells, several people have been chosen so he might be with others,” she continued to smile, “though I can assure you that no one has died, but I am getting some reports that there are some people free from their cells”
“And just how do you know that?” Balgrim asked, raising an eyebrow at the woman in front of them.
“I have my ways” she smirked, tapping the side of her head with her index finger.
“Tch, magic users” Balgrim mumbled.
“And no,” Edyn sternly said to Ray, her smile fading, “cannibalism is not allowed, unless you have some volunteers” she gigged, her smile back in a flash.
Ice scoffed at her comment, staying in her corner, hating blood by the second as she felt it drying on her even with the wet cloths help.
“As I said before, each cell has three ways, with your new friends breaking into this cell you now have five options”. Edyn covered her mouth as she chuckled, “many of you, actually almost everyone actually, has seen one possible way out, you just haven't realized”
“What the hell do you mean witch? Tell us where this key is!” Balgrim gripped the cell bars glaring at the platinum haired woman.
“Temper now, getting angry isn't going to get you anywhere” she laughed.
Ice sighed and turned away slightly, unclasping her face mask from behind so she could clean off the remaining blood on her face. “I don't suppose you can tell us any names of the people who were bright here like us?” Ice asked Edyn, hoping that it was only her and not her partner Hiro.
“Nope, no can do” Edyn shrugged. She grinned, spotting Magnus and Zenos looking into the other cell. “Though while you ask me many questions I can't answer it seems like two of your cellmates are getting the bright idea to investigate”
Balgrim followed Edyns gaze to Magnus and Zenos, “have at it, we couldn't find anything”
Cell 7
Quintus glanced at Zamar, saddened that he got seriously wounded and got separated from his friends as a result. “Cou couldn't send them a letter? Or visit their homes?” He paused for a moment, thinking how he would feel if he lost his friends, how he was now.
That hopeful click of the door brought him out of his thoughts when he saw Zamar gripping his hand, the keyhole claims another” he somewhat joked, reaching into his thigh pouch he pulled out a cream colored handkerchief with the letter “KA” embroidered in the corner and offered to Zamar, “use this if its bleeding” handig it to him before focusing on the door.
Quintus pushed, pulled and even tried to lift the door to see if it would do anything. It refused to budge, not even a rattle. After using most of his strength on the door Quintus leaned on the wall next to the door with a sigh, but felt the wall move slightly, “Oh? Oh that's mean”. Quintus pushed on the wall and had it slowly swing open, opening up to the dark hallway in front of them.
“We got it Zamar!” Quintus beamed with excitement. He walked out of the cell and looked around them, there was only one way to go, and there was a faint glow of light down the hall, faint voices could be heard.
“Let’s go find your brother and my friends!”

Cell Three
When the cell bars fell to the floor, Aria yelped in surprise and looked to the two cellmates. Kuthin seemed ready to move and headed towards one direction, then without warning the man had fallen into darkness. As Noir pulled Kuthin back up, it was what Noir had said next that chilled her making her freeze still crouched on the cell bars. Grey-green eyes watched as Noir finished helping the man up with little effort and start to lead the way in a different direction. Confusion of the male made her frown as she reluctantly nodded to Noir when he said they should follow him.
Slowly getting to her feet she followed behind Kuthin not wanting to be near Noir. Biting her lip she contemplated on the rising question that wouldn’t leave her alone as she watched Noir’s back. “How long have you been here?” Aria didn’t look to Kuthin who didn’t seem to be an enemy, yet.
‘He’s been here before…’ her nose scrunched at the smell around the path they took, it was old but lingered, causing a chill to come over her. She shivered and fought the urge to cling to Kuthin’s arm.
Cell Four
“Let’s hope he returns,” Syus then looked to the walls around them. There didn’t seem to be anything out of place. “As long as the walls don’t close in we may have a chance,” he half-joked looking to Loch with a small smile before moving away from the bars and focusing on any clues on the floor.
Cell Two
Not wanting to find out what was behind Arcana, Haiz rushed to the door. “This has to be the best way out,” hands fumbled for a way to open the door falling onto the doorknob. The child's laughter made her freeze, though it was Yume’s counting that caught her off guard. When they had hit three and heard something bounce off of the wall, clearly missing their target. Haiz slowly turned towards the other two cellmates as the sound of fluttering wings filled the once semi-quiet darkness.
The sound of a growl came from the darkness, Haiz froze as a white wolf with grey fur in the middle of their back slowly came out of the darkness. The wolf seemed to be watching them all before looking to Yume. “I think you made it mad Yume,” Haiz whispered keeping her hand on the doorknob.
Shaking his head he reminded himself that it was a normal reaction of the girl who had thrown the rock. Movement caught his eye as the one near the door stooped down and picked up a stone. Jasper growled in warning when Haiz threw it at him telling him to back off. Catching the stone in his mouth he glared at the girl not seeing the second one she had thrown. Yelping as it hit him in the head, knocking him back. Wincing he quickly shifted to his human form rubbing his head, “Owe..”
“Who are you?” Haiz growled getting ready to throw another rock.
Shielding for when she would throw it with his hands crossed in front of him Jasper frowned, “It wasn’t my intention to scare you, I had heard the cave in and wanted to know if you were alright. But clearly, you are all fine and ready to cut my head off… or in this case, stone me to death.” He had pointed up from where they had fallen, “It had echoed and my cellmates wanted to know if there were others near…” He glanced to Arcana with a small smile, “Sorry for landing on your head..my goal was to land on her shoulder…” He pointed to Yume before looking back to the one with the stone.
“How did you get out of your cell?” Haiz watched him closely, not letting go of the rock as she aimed for her next spot.
“I shifted into a raven,” Jasper said as if it were the normal thing to happen, “Then into a wolf when she threw a rock at me, it startled me and fight instinct kick in..”
Cell Five
“If she wanted to rip your eyes out she would have done it already,” Jarel said with a small laugh though it was quickly cut short when the little kit had mentioned Haiz. His eyes narrowed, “So Haiz is here too...I wonder if that means the rest of my friends are here as well.” He frowned at the thought of Magnus being caught up in a cell, “I hope Magnus is at least behaving himself if he is here..” Shaking his head he looked to Riku, “They’ll be in good hands if Haiz is with them.”
‘Hopefully she can behave herself long enough to get out of this situation..’ He shook his head relaxing on the floor near the bars, “Well we weren’t all caught at the same time if Haiz was here we were on our way to our secret hideout. The dark cloud was hard to see in my realm and so I kind of flew right into it..”
Following the trail she had left for herself, she slowly made her way back. Sometimes doubling back to be sure it was the right way, it wasn’t until her weapon disappeared that she knew she had gone the right way. Feeling lost without it she slowly made her way towards the cell, biting her lip unsure if she had taken any turns in the darkness.
“Jasper? Kasious?” Her voice echoed off the walls, causing her to freeze, unsure if anything lingered in the darkness. ‘I think it’s just a little further...’ Keeping the key tightly in her hand she used her foot to poke around in the darkness staying close to the cave’s walls.
Cell 6
Taking some relief that Zamar was alright if he was here. Letting out a breath he had been holding in he looked to his former cellmate. ‘Really need to find a way out,’ Zami shivered as he took a few steps away from the bars and from Ray.
The shouting from Balgrim made him glance in their direction. The male was obviously not happy, and couldn’t blame them but it was what they had said that caught him off guard. ‘Key five ways out, six heads,’ blue eyes fell to Edyn with a small frown, ‘I am sure there is a reason she is here...’ Closing his eyes he focused on what the woman had said, blocking out the rest she had mentioned. ‘One cell not explored, do they mean this one? Pretty sure we had explored all of ours…’
Magnus and Zenos both froze in mid-step in the new cell looking back towards Edyn. They exchanged glances at one another a little shocked she would just tell the others that they planned a jailbreak in the now new cell. ‘So much for trying to break out of here without the others knowing,’ Magnus thought with a small scowl glancing to Zenos who didn’t seem to happy either.
“Hurry and find a way out,” Zenos mumbled under his breath as he quickly headed to the right while Magnus only nodded and went to his left. They then began to search around the bars and the side walls.
“They won't find anything,” Ray said with a small shrug and glanced towards the white-haired girl, “Have you guys searched this cell any?”
‘We searched our cell...so that must mean the cell not explored is this one...’ Zami opened his eyes and looked towards the wall of the cell, ‘It definitely wasn’t the wall that had broke, so that leaves two walls, ceiling and floor..’ Heading away from Ray, he headed to the opposite side and glanced at the wall, looking for some kind of clue as to get out.
Cell Seven
“Thanks..” he took the handkerchief from Quintus as he watched them try the door that still seemed to be stuck. “We weren’t sure if they had gone back, and we didn’t know exactly where they lived. Only the gist idea of it, and if one had gone home it could have spelt disaster if we had found her..” he shivered at the thought of going to Ice’s home and getting a bunch of swords pointed at him or worse. Shaking his head quickly of the memory he glanced down to his hand as he tied the handkerchief around his fingers, “Only my brother knew where the other had lived. But he didn’t say exactly where..”
Zamar chuckled as the man seemed to be frustrated with the door, watching them then stumble on another way out cut it short. He couldn’t believe they had found the way out and smiled a little at the small bit of freedom from their cell.
Walking to Quintus side, he peered through the entrance seeing a soft glow of light. The sound of faint voices seemed to bounce off the walls. “Do you think it's our captors light checking up on the other inmates?” He shivered at the thought as he kept close to the entrance wall and glanced towards Quintus.

Cell 3
Noir lead the two down the hall, keeping his eyes looking ahead and passing by any halls that they come across, Kuthin tried to look don them as best as he could with the limited torchlight Noir provided, looking for another way out than following the odd man.
Noir suppressed the urge to grin when aria asked the million question. “I've been here a long time, though, I don't know exactly how long, but I've been in my fair share of cells” he paused, looking back at them, “I was in that cell alone for the longest time until you two arrived” he smiled, almost sadly.
“So if we come across anyone you should know how to free them?” Kuthin eyed the platinum-haired man, unsure if he could trust what he was saying.
“Maybe? Most of the cells look all the same so I won't make any promises.
‘Damn it’ Kuthin though he had an easy way to get his friends free if they came across them. “What made you stay here? You obviously know your way around here…” he thought there was no way someone would be willing to say here. Something just didn't add up.
“My sister, Edyn, she was brainwashed by the lord of this realm and served under him,” Noir began to slow his pace and rub at his eyes, “she and I were taken here together and when I showed resistance…well we met in a cell” he chuckled softly, “I've met many others in cells”
Kuthin tried to read his body language to see if there was some sort of truth to his tale, but the shadows from the halls and torchlight were making it difficult.
He looked back at Aria, wondering her thoughts of the person in front of them.
Cell 4
“That...is a terrifying thought my friend” Loch shuddered at the thought, the thing that could possibly end now possible his life was being sandwiched between two tiled walls. Did this collar thing make his mortal now? The thought scared him that this place could be his grave. Time to find a way out.
Loch examined the tiles on the walls, looking for some sort of clue, anything really, that could free them. Spotting an odd symbol in the corner of a tile, almost hidden by the shadows of the cell, Loch lightly touched it seeing that it was engraved in the tile and thinking nothing bad could come from it until it sunk into the wall. Loch jumped back holding his hand like he had hurt it but was just startled from the sudden movement, “I think I did something” he looked at Syus, a hint of fear in his eyes.
A loud sound, similar to a large rock hitting the floor, rattled the cell bars. A loud clicking noise, followed by the sound of something grinding against stone came from outside the cell, the room looked a little brighter. The torch outside of the cell seemed closer, jutting out of the wall more than it normally was, but was too far away for the two in the cell to reach.
Cell 2
Yume froze, suddenly seeing a wolf before them. She angered the blade creature and it had back up. She backed up, keeping her back towards the door as Haize adopted her technique of stoning, and wincing when the second stone hit the target. She blinked a couple of times to make sure her eyes weren't playing tricks on her ager seeing the wolf shift into a man. ‘Its school all over again…’she thought, thinking back to an old friend who would turn into different animals.
Yume looked back at Arcana who had her arms full of rocks ready for throwing, “I think wee good Arcana” Yume waved to the girl trying to calm her. Arcana sighed with relief and tossed the rocks to the side. She looked like she was ready to join in with the rock throwing.
“Well, it's only normal for someone to react that way when some foreign creature lands on someone in a creepy place like this,” Yume said turning her attention back to the shapeshifter on the floor, “your lucky we don't have our weapons,” she said crossing her arms.
Arcana stepped closer to him, holding out her hand to help him up, “What's your name? You also said you were with others?” maybe he knew where some of her friends were.
The scratching behind the door continued, seeming more frantic than before, startling Yume and making her jump forward from the sudden noise. She looked at Haize, “you really think this is the way out?”
Cell 5
Riku grinned at Kasius know what Jarel said was true. “So you know Haize? She's already making friends with our friends so she's okay now, though I don't know a Magnus person” she tilted her head trying to remember if she mentioned someone by that name but came up with nothing.
“At Least it's nice knowing one of our friends are safe and in good company” Kasius sighed in relief, ‘one down, four more to go. I wonder if the others are alright...’. “Wait” Jarels voice brought him out of his thoughts ”you few into it?” he wanted to make sure he heard him right.
Rikus ears perked up hearing a voice call for the two men. “There over here!” she called back to the voice, her tail sawing, curious if this was the other cellmate that went for help.
Cell 6
“Oh? I’m getting word that two more escaped,” she laughed, “all of you are really bad at this. It's a shame none of you will get along and work together” Edyn sighed dramatically.
Ice felt her eye twitch watching the woman, ‘I really hate her right now’. Thankful that someone was taking her attention away from Edyn she turned to Ray, “no, we were dealing with other issues, like me trying not to become that one's meal and his friend trying to help. The SHE came along and started bothering us”
Edyn pouted, “I thought you liked me, I haven't done anything wrong to upset you...” her voice hitched like she was about to cry.
“Suck it up! Because of your “Lord” we’re in this mess!” ice tried not to raise her voice but was starting to lose it.
Balgrim looked over at ray, “I think we were better off in the other cell, this one is too dramatic for my liking, reminds me of a pain in the ass” he said looking to the two females before looking around the cell for some way out.
Edyn broke out into a giggle fit, “me, you really are mad”. Her expression changed for a second, looking intrigued before her grin came back. “Oh, I just realized what cell this is, ALL of you have looked at two ways to escape”
Ice opened her mouth to yell at her again but let out a frustrated sigh and tried to concentrate on what the two things could be. Her eyes landing in the blond haired boy again, ‘where have I seen him?’
Already frustrated she didn't want to get angrier trying to figure out why he looked familiar she walked up to the blond and turned him by the shoulder so he faced her, “where have me…” she trailed off instantly remembering, “Zami?..”
Cell 7
“Well there's only one way to find out right?” he smiled, “And it's in the way of our only path out of here,” he said slipping back on the glove he had taken off before.
Opening and closing his hand to make sure it fit right he looked to Zamar, “do you think you’ll ever run into them again? Or seek them out? I think after this experience is over I won't leave my friends for a while” he lightly chuckled.
The light that was far away from them had grown closer along with the sounds of humming and light footsteps. Quintus watched the entrance of the hall to see just who was coming.
Out of the shadows walked a small girl, looking no older than fifteen and with long white hair and two-toned eyes, one a dark blue, the other a light red. She was fixated on the door to the cell, peeing in and looking confused that she saw no one inside. She turned and locked eyes on Zamar and Quintus, “th-there out!” she shrieked before sprinting back down the hallway where she came from.
“Wait! Should we go after her?” Quintus looked from the hallway where the girl had left to Zamar.

Cell Three
Keeping close to Kuthin, she glanced to him on occasion while listening to Noir. “How many cells are there?” Aria’s brown ears twitched as she cautiously looked behind them, ‘I really hope we are going the right way.’
“I don’t trust him,” she whispered hoping the male they were following wouldn’t hear, she didn’t look to Kuthin as she continued, “The whole place smells of him, and for a prisoner he didn’t seem frightened. No matter how long you’re in a cell you always wonder the unknown. Why doesn’t this guy?” A chill ran down her spine, ‘Where is he really taking us?’ Taking a glance at Kuthin, she wondered if Noir was taking them far away from the others.
Cell Four
Jumping at the sudden noise he looked to Loch who was clearly shaken as well. Syus glanced around the cell to the walls when all was quest. “At least you didn’t find the squish button,” Syus shivered as he glanced at the sudden closeness of the torch. ‘Why would it move closer to the wall or to the cell?’ Syus looked to Loch, “I don’t think the way out is inside the cell, what you found might have been a hint to where the way out is.”
“I think the torch is a lever that opens this cell. That or it has to do with the same stone that holds the torch,” pointing in the direction of the torch with his thumb, “Hopefully there is something in the cell that will let us out…” He glanced back around the walls and ceiling looking for anything that would look like a clue. ‘Please no hidden squish button…’
Cell Two
Jasper gave a small nod and a apologetic smile, “Sorry I didn’t mean to startle anyone into panick.” He then looked to the female with pink hair with a small frown as he tried to recall their names from his cellmates, “The two in the cell are Loch and Syus, and I’m Jasper.”
“I’m Haiz, and you know Arcana and Yume,” Haise replied feeling a little let down that none of Japser’s cellmates were familiar to her. She wanted to his at Jasper who had been staring at her with confusion on his face. “Should have hit him harder with the rock,” she mumbled glaring at him before looking to Yume, “Whatever is on the other side of the door has to be better than that haunting laughing..”
“Not sure what is on the other side, only got old scents as a wolf. Seems the people who brought this thing in left it to die..” Jasper said with a small shrug. “Depending how starved it is you may want to use those rocks you just dropped..”
“Unless you want to see what or who is laughing,” Haiz replied hesitating to open the door.
Cell Five
“It’s alright Riku, he is just someone I know. If Haiz is here then so are the others of my group that I often hang out with,” Jarel then slowly nodded to Kasious poking them with his wing, “Yeah it was hard to see the stupid cloud, I only fly when in immediate danger.” He gave a small smile, “In this darkness they would be hard to see…” The sound of Nakarah’s return made him retract his wings close to his body once more.
The unfamiliar voice startled her as she made her way to the cell. Nakarah glanced to Riku seeing the small creature just sitting there outside the cell. “What is that?”
“A kit named Riku, Kasius already got on her bad side. I guess she was looking for you,” Jarel replied petting the kit and looking to Nakarah, “Did you find anything?”
“Oh right,” Nakarah looked to Jarel and Kasius, “This place is a huge maze, and if you venture far enough your weapons.” Shaking her head as she knew the next question would arise, “As soon as I tried to return my weapons were gone.” She saw the disappointment come over Jarel’s face as she then continued, “I did manage to get out, or at least I think I was out. It was too dark and didn’t see any stars so maybe it's just a place where they grow food underground. I had found a key within the rock wall, hopefully it will open the cell.” She then handed it to them through the bars, watching as Jarel took it.
“If not I’m not sure what we are suppose to do..” Jarel replied as he moved to the cell lock and tried to fit it in. He frowned and shook his head, “This isn’t the right key, sorry Nakarah…”
“You gotta be kidding me! I risked my life to get that freaking key from some wild beast! It doesn’t even work!?” Nakarah growled and kicked at the bars with her foot getting irritated, “Where is the owner of this place! I want to punch them!”
Taking a step back from the cell bars, Jarel crossed his arms in thought. “This could open someone else’s cell, or something else. We may wish to keep it..” He glanced to Kasius with a small frown, “Seems we are stuck in here a little longer..”
Cell Six
“Why exactly are you here? It can’t be just to watch this cell,” Ray said with a small frown confused on why their captor would be watching them, ‘Unless they like to watch us be tormented, or torment each other. But if that’s the case she would have separated us to where we didn’t fight…’ He then glanced to Balgrim and nodded, “Seems that way, but it’s too late now. We need to focus on the way out..”
Magnus and Zenos froze, since they were the only two really looking they both looked at each other confused on what Edyn had said. Zenos gave him a small shrug and looked back towards the wall for any kind of clue, running his fingers over the cell walls and glancing up at the ceiling. ‘I wonder if they even looked up or down…’ He then looked to his feet and knelt down to examine the floor. ‘There has to be something within these walls...where is it!’ He growled and punched the floor hard getting frustrated with Edyn.
Jumping at the sound, Magnus looked over his shoulder. “You okay?” He frowned glancing towards the others who seemed to linger in the other cell. ‘At least we will find a way out hopefully…’ He glanced towards Edyn, he knew the woman was getting on all their knerves was it on purpose so they wouldn’t think?
Zami was about to scan the wall he was closest to when he felt a hand on his shoulder. He half expected it to be Ray giving him a hard time again until he looked into blue eyes and white hair. Unsure if he could trust his eyes he forced them closed and opened them again, but the woman still stood in front of him. “Ice?” Shock ran through him as he quickly hugged her, “how did you get here?” He then released her and gave a small smile, “It's good to see you, despite the….circumstances..”
Cell Seven
Nodding to Quintus, he slowly moved out of the cell to hurry after the woman, “Hey wait! Can you at least help us figure out where we are!?” Zamar called in hopes to have the woman stop, he frowned and looked to Quintus to be sure the man was following. ‘I hope she can help us find a way out, or even small directions…’
